  1. Thadiun Okona isn't photobucket a hosted imaging site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photobucket Considering everything I had posted in the previous 12 years had been on PB. I think your statement is a bit ...
  2. Finished both of the AAP knobs and have posted white red and green toggles for the O2 panel
  3. Yes it is an F-16 C grip. It is very comfortable and does not hit anything. I have never seen an A-10C grip for sale at a reasonable price. With Essex Industries selling the real grip and Bugeye Technologies Inc selling the simulator ones. I am sure the price would include a quart of blood and at least an arm.
  4. Ok thanks.
  5. If I remember correctly the the driven MFCD was well over $5.000 the LCDs from the other supplier were $1.000.00 each but that was like 5 years a go so I may be wrong. You sure have done a bunch of research on FMT (Full Military Trainer) parts to be making a Virtual reality pit.
  6. yup don't have that kind of money.
  7. The LCD are not exact fits that would be a 600 x 600 screen by the Elbit brochure. these are a 600 by 800 that is why a portion of the LCDs extend out of the top of the MIP on the outside corners just a bit. Cutting the MIP was the best compromise i could find using real instruments. The GS /FPH will cover the top portion and corners of the LCDS.
  8. Well I got a surprise today getting ready for work and the postman need a signature. The LCDS came in from Taiwan . Now I am just waiting on HDMI control boards. Any way the LCDs fit perfect and the top outside edges will be covered by the glare shield/ fire handle pull housing.
  9. Added LCD Mount plates Mock ups to the MIP
  10. I have added a few items to the shop pointer and one AAp knob they will be price shortly
  11. Great job!!
  12. Waste of time in my opinion do to the space you need to do other thing such as write down information. Or enjoy the physicality of the pit. But that is just me.
  13. Well the MIP really needs to be made out of Aluminum there are real ADIs and HSIs now and then on the bay.
  14. It depends on what you want to convert from wood to aluminum. i would leave it as build it was the cheapest solution and able to be built with a minimum investment in to tools. BUt it could be done.
  15. Yes do to the cost of aluminum in Europe is sky high and wood is easier to work with for most people. The original pit has a ton of aluminum on a steel frame to house the large DC motors.
  16. The frame is just 2 inch square steel tubing. the Tubing across the center pedestal is for the rudder pedal adjustment cable. You can build the exact same pit with Han solo's Cockpit plans. Minus a few of the fancy things like real rudder pedals.
  17. Cleaning the garage today and changed out MIPs
  18. two different height of NVIS post lamps are posted plenty of room for a 1.8mm led in the cap or perhaps some on e can recommend a green LED
  19. I don't know a year maybe. I am still adding things working on a new style NVIS post light replica at the moment.
  20. I have added The An/ARC 164 Radios knobs and am finishing a few sets. If i find a knobs cheaper than I can make it I will just post it here as before.
  21. GUys quick question I have not had a ff stick plugged in for quite awhile any issues with FF now?
