Whats shit about it? Mine has worked fine and their design of making it break apart has saved mine from really breaking many time. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you guys have a problem with them enforcing their patents to prevent competition? Oh well to each his own I guess. :pilotfly:

The best price I found was 422.00 from Amazon if Amazon is the seller. The other sellers are as high as 600.00. I did find one for 399 at Fry's but they wanted 124.00 to ship it ! So Amazon with a free Prime trail you can have it shipped overnight for 3.99. much better than 124.00! But yeah its pricey either way.

Me also I also have a problem with a-10 losing focus and screens behind it seem active (even though you can't see them) Its like a-10 is up but not taking input so if I click on any monitor A-10 colapses to the task bar and I have too reopen it. The task bar also shows on top of the a-10 screen. Its like I'm playing in a window that is "always on top" Very odd. This happens in Full screen and Windowed mode. I might expect something like this in windows mode but in full screen its very odd behavior. This didn't happen when I had only one monitor

Thats ok man we all do it. I would add that one of the reasons I went to a new setup from my x52 was that I couldn't get it to work under win 7 64 bit. Their drivers aren't signed and even after disabling "enforce driver signing (or something like that) it still wouldn't load any configs and the device had a "could not start" error in device manager because of the driver not being signed. The x52pro looks nice and is priced right but the warthog is in a class by itself no doubt about it. The thing is so solid and heavy you could use it to beat off intruders, if you're strong enought to swing it. :D

I feel so unloved as I only has a 23 inch..But I have 3 of them! I just resently went from one monitor to three and I'm blown away at the difference!

Yeah I kind of noticed that from pictures I saw. Unfortunately I have no way to try them out since no store around here actually sells them so I have to Newegg'em (hmmm I think I just came up with New Eggs next motto) . I've never used peddles and I generally kick back in my easy chair, feet up, when I sim (I like to relax while I bomb people:pilotfly::joystick:) So just having my feet down is going to take some getting used to never mind the peddles. Well I got my warthog HOTAS (its everything every as said about it, that being that it is in class by itself and is one monster and extermly well put togeather) But as it turns out I do use that rudder more than I thought so I'm looking into some pedals. Can you tell me the defferance between Saitek Combat Pro Pedals and their cheaper model (forget the name) that is around $100.00? Is it the build quality or do the Saitek Combat Pro Pedals have more functions? thanks

I'm probably a terrible pilot as I've never seen the need for using the rudder much :pilotfly::doh:the slider will work fine for me, for now.

Thanks ! I can put the MFCD on another screen (I read the dummies guide:pilotfly:) But being able to build the A10 or BS2 cockpit to a T looks like a far better solution. (not to mention its just awesome looking) I just need a dummies guide to Helios and I think I can figure it out, maybe. I'll check out threads. Later: PERFECT! just what I needed. That's some cool software, I couldn't believe how easy it is to make those dials and switches work. Now where can I get a cheap touchscreen? I can see this whole thing getting out of hand First Helios panel controller then I'll need two new monitors to match then I'll need a new hotas, then I'll have to build a pit, get a hydraulic moving flight seat, probably will need a second, maybe third, video cards to drive all those pixels a real flight suit and parachute and an ......... LOL anyways thanks (I think)

Hey everyone, I've been reading about Helios for 3 days now and I have yet to find any documentation. I found a manual but it just tells you what all the options are but not really how they all tie togeather. SOOO what I need is some document that tells me how to actually set it up, something with a small walk through like the "dummies guide to multimonitor" that would show me how to get to display the MCFD and running on a different screen and interact with it. Also can you use Helios with a normal monitor and if so can you "click" on the buttons or is it only touch screen? Thanks in advance!

No matter what keys I use I can not make the engines start. I've followed the walk through and training and when I get to the part where you start the engine They will not start. I've remapped them and still nothing. I placed them on my JS buttons and still nothing. Whats up with this? Help Also is there a cheat start up like in Black Shark? The bright is that I've done the strtup so many times I almost have it down...now if only the engines would start
