And if you don't want to strap hardware to your monitor (nothing wrong with it) or don't sit close enough to push the buttons get Helios and place mouse click-able MCFD were you would "strap on" real MCFD's or any place on your monitor/s you like. When I'm learning something I have a config that has the MCFD's on my outer monitors and they're like 10inch x 10 inch VERY EASY TO READ. For missions I move them to inside bottom corner of the outer monitors and make them a little larger then the normal MCFD. With them like that I rarely have to look down during an attack. DCS and Helios is very flexible. Oh and if you don't go get Tir I'm afraid we're going to have to ask you to surrender your Flight Simmers Card.:music_whistling:

I'd like to add DCS + TM + TrackIR + 3 monitors = perfect solution and flying comfort I just came back to flight sims after seeing all the cool stuff people were doing these days with DCS products on YouTube. Bought me a WH HOTAS and 2 more monitors, already had TIR, every DCS module and I've been learning a-10c. All Ive done is try to complete the first instant action mission and I've gone from WTF how do I (insert any thing here) to learning all the weapons and most systems. I have yet to complete the mission because I still haven't learned how to avoid missiles and those pesky bullets but I'm getting there. My landings are perfect though....Fly over runway hit eject! I didn't say my plane lands perfectly:music_whistling: Anyways throw a couple more monitors on your setup you won't regret it. Oh and get Helios. Here's a tip: Learn how to use "active Pause" it's a great way to hang in the air and have all the time in the world to push buttons, work systems and just plain see how things work as you read the manual.

Well I figured it out. Once I renamed the folder and the sim starting working again I started adding items back to the new DCS folder from the old DCS folder. Through trail an error finally found the file that did in fact effect all modules. It was a lua file called modifiers.lua it was in the DCS/config/input folder. I also found a bunch of DCS crash dump files. Apparently DCS was having issues reading the lua file and was crashing even though it would fire up and run. :mad: After fixing it I fired it up and promptly bombed some poor village with my newly acquired knowledge on how to use laser guarded bombs.:pilotfly: Thanks for your input.:thumbup:

No I mean system restore the windows system restore. I also tried a repair but that was no go. Yeah I guess that's my next step to delete the dcs folder under my user. What would be in there that would apply to every module?

No and I was just thinking of that but I did do a system restore which should have fixed anything in there unless system restore doesn't restore those files since they are user files.

Yesterday I was flying my new shininy P-51 around and all of a sudden none of my keys worked or any other input other than axis input from my WH HOTAS. This is with all modules. A-10, CA, p51, k50 Lockon3. Once I enter flight no input at all. I've even reinstall DCS World same problem Did system restore to 3 days prior and same problem To sum it up I have absolutly no keyboard inputs either with the keyboard or my HOTAS other than axis contol. What in the world could cause this even on a new install? very odd HELP! :cry:

Who would have thought lol guess I got to fixed on "bomb/rocket" and 5am in the morning. But then again why not call it what you call it in the game? oh well Do you know if there is a list that might explain lots of these settings? Not just p-51 but a10, k50, CA they are loaded with mystery keys.

I have to say I hate trying to map things to all the options in DCS sims. There are hundreds of keys descriptions that I have no idea what they do or even mean. Now I have p51 and I can't find what the heck they call the "Bomb-Rocket release switch" in their settings so that I can map the button on on my HOTAS. So what do they call the bomb release switch? Well 14 more days and nothing from anyone. Amazing! NOT! Why in the world would Support ask you if a refund is ok and stick you back at the end of the queue after you answer them to wait and wait and wait instead of just refunding the friggen thing?! Crazy!

Key for what?

I don't have any input once I get into flight part of sim. I only have some axis no keyboard no warthog nothing for input works and this is in all modules, a10c, ka50, CA, Lock on3. Keyboard works fine in options screens but none in flight. Any ideas? Where is the bug section ? Must go there:-)

OK I have the Steam version and do I install the ka-50 upgrade? I originally had to dig up my old version of BS1 boxed version (I bought the steam version so I wouldn't have to have the cd version laying around) got the boxed version installed and had to activate it. In doing so used up my last activation as I had to use a re activate key to get it all activated. Anyways after I got BS2 installed and activated I deleted my BS1 install as I was told I wouldn't need it anymore. But Now I want to install BS2 1.2.3. Can I use the normal BS2 exe now or do I still need the BS2 upgrade? I ask because I tried the upgrade and it tells me I have to have bs1 installed and activated (which is going to be a pain since I am out of activations) Thanks

Thanks I looked all over and every search I did lead me back to the support ticket. Its kind of an odd system that puniches you though for asking about your status in the support ticket. Perhaps it would be more fair if the support staff sorted the request by ORIGINAL date. Anyways I guess I need to post this over there. LOL :doh:

Yeah its about a purchase. Oddly enough I got a response today saying they will refund me the money so now I hope that doesn't take another 11 days. I really like ED but they seem a little short staffed so I hope they aren't sinking.

How long has yours been open and have you ever had one responded to and if so how long did it take? Sounds like they need more help maybe I'll apply for the job "what can you do" Well i'm thinking of making a claim with PayPal to see if they can get my money back or at least get ED's attention.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with support in a way that they will respond? I've had a ticket open for receiving the wrong product for over a week and I haven't heard a peep form them. They claim "We aim to respond to you within 48 hours." but it looks more like everyone is on vacation because other than the auto reply email no one has done anything for my,now, 4 open tickets. The original one being opened on Feb 8 (11 days ago) I've spent money and I'm a loyal customer who has bought everyone of their products and only wanted p51 to finish owning everyone of the products but their serious lack of service is really beginning to piss me off. Hey I have a side question for you after seeing your video. How do you look down at the side panels and not be looking at them sideways? Whenever I turn my head to look at them the view rotates (which it should do) and everything is sideways and if I look back even more they can be upside down even. I've seen other videos where the view seems to just shift to the left (like in your @00:56) and the view is as though I'm behind it looking straight down instead of turning my head. Is this a trackIR axis setting? It would be so much more easier to read them if I wasn't looking at them sideways. I'd also like to shift over to view the mfcd's instead of looking at them from an angle. I also really like your set up not using anything other than the sim and can you make me a pit like yours :thumbup: Could I get your TrackIR config? Thanks
