Pilot Body for all DCS Modules Plea - toggle-able as is for Ka50 and P51
pii replied to zaelu's topic in DCS Wishlist
Oh so turning on an object so i can "VEIW" it shouldn't be a view option but a "genera" option? :doh:Thanks for clearing that up. Guess I'm not the super genius you are. But since you're such an expert prehaps you can explain what the heck "general" even means when it come to the commands they place there and why you think veiw pilot belongs there? You know, something other than "because I say so" :music_whistling: <-Back at you What's really baffling is why you got so butt hurt over me thinking some of their commands and their placement baffle me? Did you have something to do with them? -
Hmmmmm Thanks for the update. I was actually just searching for what FO was yesterday and the post go WAAAAY back. From what I gathered no one has seen the product though. I wonder if anyone will get to see their latest build? Hasn't it been about 8 years now, maybe more?
-
Have they actually fessed up and said FO is canceled or was a scam?

Pilot Body for all DCS Modules Plea - toggle-able as is for Ka50 and P51

Did I hurt your feeling or something? Seriously I didn't say ALL were but finding random combos that you have no idea what they may be called can be hard to do. You'll notice its not in "Views", which is where I would think to look, and I then looked for a toggle option, but again no go, I then looked through "all" but probably was cross-eyed by all the options and small print and missed it. EXCUSE ME! Under "General" pfffttt who would have thought? I suppose it makes perfect since ,to you, to list a view options under "General?" Silly me:doh: Even things that are common to each module sometimes have different names so yes it can be baffling. Thanks for the help but the added BS comment wasn't needed. BTW it doesn't even work any more in ka-50 but yet its still there so hmmm baffling. -

So how is this done in the ka 50 and p51? I don't see anything that says pilot toggle. I would love to see ED document what all the key combos actually do. Some of them are down right baffling as to what the functions are/do. -
what are you doing to kill time for UH-1H huey and patch 1.2.4 release

Are you nuts? The Sun is blinding and can cause cancer. I have an Outdoors simulator on my HD somewhere, maybe I'll fire it up. -

For a second I thought you were going to say "he thinks our Huey is totally wrong and we are starting over" -

I assumed that also. Since the Hog was always covering (checking) her tail. -
Even when they move the AI only move a few hundred feet and then stop again. Kind of dumb if you ask me.

Marry her quick! BTW which one was her? -
But but its not out for 6day 21 hours. Huey vs Wartgames Airland battles count out commencing! Last one released is a poopy head!
-
My comment had nothing to do with BS vs Huey per say but that the poster was claiming huey to be the most advanced detailed helo sim on a PC to date. Obviously its not. It may be the most advanced detailed Huey sim but IMO not the most advanced detailed helo sim. It could be tied though.:music_whistling:

How do you figure that? Never player Black shark?
-
I know I can buy used but I don't want to buy someones used junk and I'm reading driver support isn't there. Although I guess you can get it working in win 7 its not exactly plug and play. Why doesn't anyone make these any more? I had a ffb stick for awhile but don't know what the heck happened to it. Its probably in a corner somewhere in the attic but its spooky up there. Not to mention hot as hell. I see g940 going for more than a WH now that they are discontinued. One on ebay is 800.00, crazy! And new MSFFB are 500+ even crazier!
-
Well if you're willing to make a custom super duper helo controller it should be better but you might also be a little bias towards it since you either spent a lot of time making it or a lot of money making. Of course that my also be why I like the WH (Lots of $$) Your rating of the WH last though seems a little harsh. What criteria are you using for those ratings? BTW does anyone know where you can get a good FFB stick? They are all but impossible to find, new, and the G940 has been discontinued.
-
I've found most of them to be very funny. This one was no exception. Loved the line about "some guy on the forums" although it went by to fast to read and the line about being so mad he could sit sideways and the next camera view was him sitting sideways. LMAO Good job! --

Actually I kept staring at your list waiting for number 5 to appear. Much like I keep waiting for the huey icon to appear on my DCS main screen. Sadly neither have shown up.
-
So they were all your comments? So what is your 1st choice to use for it?
-
Yes if you read the comments in that video some have done that. I was thinking of trying it but then I was like umm I don't really find it that stiff. I had a 30.00 cyborg that was way harder to move from center and hated it for it. When it would finally break from center you always jumped about halfway throw its entire throw. I don't find I have that problem with the WH though.
-
You can But it won't return to center as well after unless you get different small springs.
-
That's good since the huey isn't even out so how would they even know? :doh:The WH works fine with blackshark so why not the heuy? Do you have a WH? if so do you think its too stiff? Do you think its not accurate? If you don't have a WH then I can understand possible looking for something else but to do it because a few say its too stiff and not accurate enough is laughable at best. The Wh is diffidently stiffer than a x52 but unless you have some sort of handicap you can easily adjust to it, and IMO its not even that stiff to start with. On top of that it takes about 5 minutes to remove the big spring and if you take some time you can find springs with different tensions so you could mod it to your taste for pennies. Perhaps you should ask the Huey developers what they use to fly the Huey instead of listening to people that haven't even flown it yet??
-
Well I for one don't find the WH too stiff but to say its not sensitive enough seems laughable at best. I'm wondering why you would start looking to buy all sorts if stuff just because "someone" said it wouldn't be good for Huey? I would at least try it out myself first. I do agree peddles will be a must for any helo sim though. Also its very easy to mod the spring on TMWH to be easier if your not manly enough to use as is.:music_whistling: :P
-
LOL I still use it also but not for discussion groups. :music_whistling:
-
No I just saw a video of it so I am aware in case it happens.
