  1. Apparently it is fixed on Stable as per the patch notes. I don't use stable so haven't tried it. Can anyone confirm the fix on stable is working?
  2. Yeah I think yours seems closer to other photos Ive seen. Maybe we could get HARS to match your model and be more accurate lol. :)
  3. How is this thread still even open?? Keep up the good work Cobra. With a nick like that, you have to be a top bloke!
  4. Awesome work on these. 901 seems to have a much more "fire engine red"on it these days. i dont know how historically correct that is but here is a shot for comparison. :joystick:
  5. Awesome. Let me know and I'll take you on a tour. Can't wait for Razbam to bring out the Mirage III
  6. Awesome work, thanks Strut! What made you do 901?
  7. Anyone interested on doing a skin for the F-86 based on a real world aircraft. I volunteer at a museum called Historical Aircraft Restoration Society just south of Sydney Australia and among a whole heap of aircraft they have an F-86 (well technically it is an Australian built version called a CAC CA-27) Here is a link to their page: HARS CAC CA-27 I can go and take some very detailed photos for whoever can do the skin as well. Thanks in advance. :pilotfly:
  8. Can someone confirm what we are meant to do in the below situation. There were two of us flying approaches using the straight in option. I was cleared in and he was then given the “[tail number] Signal Delta, Request for Marshal” instruction. What does he need to do from here? Do you have to go into the Marshal pattern or is it saying you are not cleared for anything and need to request again? Alerax, is it possible to add an option where you launch and do a lap of the boat and get graded on the landing and the do it again? I know you can leave the hook up and do a Bolger but we like the whole actually trapping bit. Thanks again, this script is amazing! :joystick:
  9. It is the menu when you call ATC. By default i believe it is the "" key and then you will see an option next to F10.
  10. Story of my life lol. :megalol:
  11. I don’t believe that is km/h, off the top of my head I would guess it is meters per second. :(
  12. I only saw this on the earlier version. Haven’t had a problem with latest version but then we also rarely get more than 4 people. Just check the version you are running. Wish I could be more help.
  13. That's what i thought as well but apparently it has something to do with bore sighting the gun. Seems to fix the issue either way. Why they don't set the default seat height in the correct position is a mystery as well. :(
  14. Isnt it to do with the seat height? Try setting your seat higher so the markings on the top right of HUD line up.
  15. Is it sad that i thoroughly enjoyed every minute of that video??!! Well done on all that work. Lets hope ED do correct some of the modelling errors for, as you say, an authentic experience.
  16. Awesome stuff. Pumped to push my flying up to your standards.

    learing curve

It is a very steep learning curve but see if you can find a group willing to help you out. I'd definitely say get an aircraft with a full clickable cockpit as i find it easier to click a button than try to remember a keystroke. Plus it really adds immersion into the game. Have you tried Chucks Guides? They are kinda the "For Dummies" guides and really make things like what to set on your joystick that much easier. Chucks Guides for DCS Good luck :pilotfly:
  18. I believe the Australian Hornet's have ILS functionality in them. Can we get it for them then. :joystick:
  19. Thanks BlackLion, very interesting info and I agree, its the nuances of an aircraft that really seem to give them their charm.
  20. The glideslope is the beam on the ICLS which comes up at 3 degrees. To fly through it means you were either high and went low or the opposite, low and flew high. Hope that helps.
