I was lucky enough to have a go at the demo of the F-14 at the Oz Flight Sim Expo and there was a weird behaviour with the pitch ladder on the HUD. When pitching up and down the pitch ladder (i assume that what the horizontal bars are on the HUD!!??) moved with the pitch of the aircraft. Not perfectly but they didn't stay as a reference to say the horizon. I noticed this happened on the video they did the other day. If you jump to around 38:20 he drops his nose a bit and you can see what appears to be the 0 degree pitch ladder drop below the horizon. Any ideas why or what there are? Thanks, cant wait for this to be released!

If it is to run as a server you don't need to but aircraft licenses again as you are not actually flying them. (the server stays in spectator mode). You will however need to buy the terrains if you wish to host a mission on those terrains. Also there is a dedicated server program being worked on and they tell us it is in internal testing right now. It is hoped, but not yet confirmed, it will allow you to host missions on all terrains for free.

Anyone else going to the Oz Flight Sim Expo this year? (Nov 17-18.) https://www.ozflightsim.com/ They posted that they will have a demo of Heatblur's F-14A/B for us to check out. Would be awesome if you get a fly of it too. If that isnt enough it is being hosted at HARS (Historical Aircraft Restoration Society) where you can check out some really sweet aircraft including F111, Mirage IIIO, Sabre, Connie and even a B747-400! HARS :pilotfly:

I had this when i didnt own the map the mission was on. Check you have the correct maps to play the mission.

I have this when i am on the ground or carrier deck. Have you checked them airborne?

on commercials they tell us we need at least 6000' to dump as it takes that long to fully evaporate.

This is such a shame. A lot of my friends bought the F/A-18 and Persian Gulf map and i was hoping to run a dedicated server so we could all play on the new map. I guess it is not to be. Lets hope they get the dedicated server out soon and it comes with all maps available as this will get hosts running maps other than Caucus and possibly even convince people to spend more money on DCS.

Ive done that too but still have the same problem. The host PC sees them all but any client only ever sees a maximum of two??!! Thanks for the input anyhow. :joystick:

Thanks Alerax! Awesome addon for the game but for some reason when i run a mission with your script my keybinds double up on some of the controls. Any ideas why this is happening? I should note that any other mission without your script my controls are normal and my friends also have the exact same problem. Thanks again!

Just to clarify the above, we have put 5 static aircraft on the Stennis to add some immersion and although the host computer can see all five, any client that connects only ever sees two.

Ive got a ticket in and directed them to this thread to highlight im not alone and they replied they are aware of this thread. They did say they are unable to recreate the problem and i sent them a few of my config files to assist. Hopefully they can nut it out soon. :smilewink:

Yep confirmed. Also i cant seem to get a FARP to rearm. Ive linked it to an airport but still no go on multiplayer. Any ideas?

My settings were set to 3 screens @ 5760x1080 and the keybindings disappear. If i change it to 1 screen @ 5760x1080 then although it isnt as nice to use the main menu system it does give me back the controller input. What ever they changed in this patch for multi monitors has messed it up. :(

this might be the common problem. i am also running 3 monitors @ 5760x1080. i tried deleting my Saved Games folder (backed it up) so it created a new one and it was still porked.

This problem is still persisting since 2.5.3.21235 Open Beta Hotfix 3 I have bought the helo pack but am unable to fly it as i cant assign any controls. :furious:
