10 to 15 FPS gain, hmm? thanks for the heads up. PS: these are beta drivers @ nzone, and the list of fixes is "Tomb Raider SLI profile added" ROFL @ only fix... I wonder if it fixed the stuttering in TRL at least.. Anyway, Lazy link: http://nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_winxp_2k_32bit_84.43.html

the one you need of course.. But since you are having issues finding it, here you go: http://www.memtest.org/download/1.65/memtest86+-1.65.floppy.zip thats a pre-compiled win executable. (it will make a floppy, and you use it at boot..)

This sounds like RAM to me, get this program and test your ram. Do about 10 passes of test #5. http://www.memtest.org/ If you see any "RED" then you have a faulty stick, then you can test each one individually to find out which one is the bad stick. (hopefully you still are within the warranty) cheers :)

Not really, plasma sucks for PC use. First BURN-IN, second the display looses quality over time due to component degradation. a front projector would give you a bigger & better alternative for longer with no issues :p huge screen though ;) -

Thats interesting, I guess it records the inputs slightly different on each version.

Can the Ka-50 pull a 360 loop? (do you remember that old movie blue thunder I think) and it was likea huge feat to aclomplish this? so, can it?
-
I have one of these old things (I use my x-52) but do you think it'd be worth giving this to a friend? or just tell him to go buy a new one (trying to get him into lockon)

At that point, you should start thinking about pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis ;) PS: I can't wait until I see this: 01/08:53:36 BLUE "yournamehere" (Ka-50) kill aircraft RED "Su-27" by rotor blade

Tracks (replays) are just approximations of the real thing. When you fly, the sim records the joy inputs, so that when you replay the track, it reconstructs what's going on based on the inputs previously recorded. This means its being re-created on the fly, so it's not a copy rather a recreation which is not perfect. Im sure this imperfection is way more pronounced given the tight formation flying you guys do. (add to that, network latency and you have the end result)

I have a 9300/6800go combination. It runs lockon pretty well, although it definitelly doesnt compare to my desktop, but for the price these mobile solutions can't be beat. Also, if buying from dell, and you are in the US, they have some pretty amazing coupons sometimes. You should look around sites like fatwallet.com, etc.. good luck

That's because with high end heatsinks, you usually have the choise of buying your own fan (being that fans range in CFM and noise, people use different ones based on their own prefs) I also recomend the Scythe Ninja, I have it and its great keeping my 170 nice and cool. Here's a picture of it in my case (big square thing with fan attached on its side to blow heat outside of case in conjunction with exaust case fan) -
oh, darn it :P But, yes. This only applies to new games coming out. And BS and UBI are not related like Alpha said. (they stopped after lomac 1.0 I think, someone will mention the correct time)

Good stuff Nowi. As for the expert having issues. I've heard of them, but never had one. (same thing when I had my MSI NEO2) not a hitch thankfully. I have the OCZ520 and never had cold boot issues as some have experienced. The expert is a great borad, specially with all the available tweaks, but you have to be careful and you should definitelly not get it if you are a beginner, as the name implies "expert" and they are not kidding. I have a 3 year warranty on my CPU, so if anything happens (knock on wood) I get a free one. Still, we always hear about the bad experiences in forums (even extreme systems) and the good ones are seldom discussed. @ hitman, You can wait on M2 if you want, but dont expect wonders. It's definitelly nothing special. If you must wait, I'd say do some research on conroe. (as it stands right now, its beating the A64's by a good margin, maybe intel has a winner for gamingafter 3 years of 2nd place.) And M2 will aslo have a good premium price for no extra performance or lower in some cases. You know computers though, whats "uber" today, is obsolete in 2 or 3 months.. -

#1 - Yes, circuit city (we have those here in... Virginia) :icon_eek: #2 - It's an LCD (the 2405 I suggested is a flatscreen like what you originally posted, but BETTER) #3 - I have the same motherboard and use the same RAM. Sandiego (clawhammer is old and built in .13nm process, no SS3 either) BUT, look into an OPTERON 150 if you want single core and overclockign potential. if you are "ONLY" doing that, you hardly need this much GPU power at all, simply buy a single 7900GT and call it a day.. -

I dont get why you say circuit city and desk space? If it's cause of the dell LCD, you can purchase trough the dell website (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1042463) thats where the offers are for a bigger and MUCH better LCD than what you have linked. In case you didnt get my first post, DONT buy an LCD FROM NEWEGG>> -What the heck is "an FC in the box" As for getting PC3500 ram, its USELESS... unless you are overclocking and plant to keep the ram 1:1. if you are not overclocking, just look for the lowest possible timmings in PC3200 flavor. I'd suggest you buy the G-SKILL's PC4000 (if overclocking) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231021 $157 they are UCCC chips and do great for high HTT (260-280mhz) Also, NO NEED for an FX, because thats specifically DESIGNED to be overclocked and carries the price premium. Thats why it has the unlocked multis, like I said. I'd go for my suggestions above and BEAT your FX-57/FX-60 in performance and get a 2nd 7900GTX for SLI. I'm giving you options to build a much faster/better PC than what you provided, but... Either way, its your money.
