  1. holy crap man, That car needs new shocks. I've never seen a real car shock so violently, I think they need to go back to pit lane and fix the suspension ;) PS: Not bad, but I much rather buy a sweet suspension setup for my real car.
  2. seems like the detonation was done in a "safe zone" not in the houses you see in the beggining. ??
  3. I thought we were supposed to have "physics independent rotor blades, and they cast shadows" so why not have a more accurate Eagle/Flanker? ;) I'd pay for it even.
  4. Awesome, You've just inveted ABS (anti-lock brakes) for aircraft :D I'll deffinitely have to try this one out, thanks :) I do it because I don't have a full blow pit. (if I could assign all my commands to the right places, in the right buttons, I'd have a full blown SU27 @ my house) But my girl would leave me and the NSA would be on my ass so fast that I wouldnt even be able to jump in the jet. I also find it quite handy for when you have to scramble. So far I only have "lights" on a button, but ABS braking to follow, you know it'd really help us in that short runway :D :P
  5. yup, works great
  6. I remember a really good post a while back, it was titled something like: "I don't believe in secrets" ;)
  7. thanks guys, Pilotasso, you gave me some good ideas. (specially the counter measures/ECM) I use the ministick as TDC because to me it comes natural, never had an issue with it. (I also use TIR4)
  8. ^^ that sounds a lot like the "shift" button already included in the Saitek stick.. Interesting way to approach the issue though, although I can see this becoming an issue when time is of the essence, specially if you are not uber careful about your mappings. (aka, you dont want to hold a button for 1 second to fire a missile in the heat of a battle, specially when that second can mean life or death) I'll have to thinker with my stick more, I'm looking for things that are useful to have in macros. I like ruggbutt's idea of the airbrake (happens to me all the time) but I don't know if such a thing is possible with saitek, maybe I'll try and code something.. Anyway, post what you guys have on macros :D
  9. Wow, that title sounds funny  Anyway, I've been recently re-working some the commands on my stick (X52) and I was wondering what sorts of things you guys have pre-programed on your sticks? examples would be: -having just 1 button to turn all your lights in one key press -having 1 button set your aircraft for landing -startup sequence macro -etc.. So, post yours so we can all get more ideas of what macros to use with our joysticks. thanks :)
  10. why is it that there is so much attention being put into missiles? I agree the ground vehicles with more detail are needed since we'll be flying helos, but I much rather have a nicer flanker/fulcrum/eagle/hog that I see all the time on-screen, than a misile that I fire and don't even get to see much if any.. (maybe better smoke effects though) No offence HAN, your sim rocks, but I wonder why? -neo
  11. Are you in the US? I saw those pedals for like $90 on newegg..
  12. Hey Amraam, I dunno why, but it seems a lot of people don't know this. I've been using the "mini-stick" as TDC slew control for a long time. All you have to do is go under the "profiler" and make sure your ministick is setup as mouse axis X and Y correspondingly. (should be by default) then, in game simply go to OPTIONS>INPUT In this screen, select the MOUSE from the drop down menu, then select AXIS from the toggle. You'll see the following 3 in the list: ZOOM blah, blah... TDC slew Horizontal TDC slew Vertical Assign an axis from the DROP DOWN menu, when you click on CHANGE. You should have: AXIS0 AXIS1 AXIS2 I dont have the game installed here at work, but if I remember right, it should be something like this: ZOOM blah, blah: AXIS2 TDC slew Horizontal: AXIS0 TDC slew Vertical: AXIS1 That might be incorrect, but it's easy to figure out. Lastly, make sure MOUSEVIEW is enabled in the config file. thats it, your MINISTICK will control your TDC (you can change the sensitivity under the profiler for a faster/slower TDC) cheers. (I'll try to include a screenshot later)
  13. why v-sync for trackir? I havent heard about this
  14. I'll make it even better, LockOn is a GAME!! ;)
  15. IF you have the money and want the unlocked multi, I dont see why not.. (although I prefer Andrew's way) X_Man, There is no such thing as a "100K RPM" raptor ;) hmm, maybe I should setup lockon in my 57" HDTV
  16. Good stuff (Although I wonder why ppl on this forum never post much in some threads that deserve it, ah well) at least a thank you for the download would be nice... So.. Anyway, thanks :)
  17. awesome, thanks :)
  18. click on at the top/bottom left of the page, and then click on the one you want on the right side :pilotfly:
  19. Can you please explain these to a n00b? There are a couple of mods out there that add these to your pit (the red ones look cool, but are a bit obtrusive) that said, what is the real use of them? I guess the name implies something about "lift" but I dont get it? can someone please point me to an explanation of these, and how to use them? -thanks  (Cool new smilies)
  20. Hey shamandgg, Could you post or PM me your N52 profile? (I also use this beside my throttle) But havent mess with configs yet..
  21. The ministick (on the X52 throttle) works great for this :)
  22. If this is real, then... $182,205 Bwahahahaha... Nice to see my tax money going to shit like this.
  23. well, havent had much luck in google lately.. I'll let you know if i find anything.
  24. I'll check them in a few (have to run right now) as general advice, if you input these sets in google, you can usually get an idea of whats at fault. (by the memory address)
