Flanker 1.0 for the WIN!!!!!1111 i was 7 years old :D after playing that alot of my childhood i was at wall mart one time and saw "Flanker 2.5" i nearly sH%$ myself happy! i bought it then and there, then came Lockon. love them all :D Flanker 1.0 actually came with a the new computer at the time my dad bought for the family. my father really enjoyed flying flanker but he never got into combat :P mostly just flew around and ran out of fuel and crashed LOL then he would turn it over to me and i would practice low level flying..... me being only 7 at the time couldnt figure out how to reduce throttle or get the throttle to work :P but the stick itself worked (a few years later i figured it out) so i would do alot of bombing and gunzo. i would give an arm and a leg to go back to those days of coming home from school and being a pretend fighter pilot :P brings a smile to my face every time i think about it.

i dont see how it will cripple a PC because if they are just following program material they are not spamming frame killing smoke or doing anything graphically intensive.

I dont get what the big deal is..... i play BF2 and Blast the crap out of US playin china or MEC.... i dont give a dam! its just a game who cares.

in game the flap possition does not effect G on the wing. overspeeding does..... but i have tested thoroughly the effect of weight on wings and in game you can snap off your wings incredibly easy with no weapons on them going 700kmph however with some weight on the wings its almost impossible to break them..... because there is more weight on the wings and more momentum to turn the wings can handle it. but with no weps its to high of a wing load at that speed and G

LMFAO!!!!!!!.......................... The bloom mod is wierd great to look at but my frames drop from a steady 50 to 32 when using it.

Arrgh. its not that hard to fly! just set up the controls and give it a bit of practice. sure its diff because its not flown with an atari stick or something :P
