Thanks all for understanding. That's good to know. I feel it's not just about me :D. Yes Shaman - you're 100% right - it is psychological. Playing in virtual world is a 'lil bit like hiding under a hood - and I want to keep that way. People are different and some just don't want to take it too seriously. Same time multiplayer flight is just amazing. Just prefer not using verbal conversation there... Hard to explain why exacly... Voice and the way I speak is my personal private appearance (?). Different nickname won't help here either. Great to know that still such silent persons are welcome on TS servers. I always thought I would be only new user not knowing anyone there. This is a psychological barrier like stepping into new classroom mates group after changing a school ;). If it's ok to keep my mouth shut I will join then. But remember! Not every new DCS user will read this thread. Still I think joining TS is not a straight forward operation. Need is to shortcut the way in this matter. Giving no choice should also help with "new classroom effect". You should be able to hear others in MP on same frequency by default even if you don't want to use TS. You'd like to mute some noobs and fly with mate only in two-ship formation flight on open server? Just switch on different channel. And how great would be the possibility communicating others via commands generator (comm menu) - new users would look less noobish using proper brevity code. In-built VoIP is hardly needed. We all agree. Combo with SP communication way would be a bless. -

I'd like to share my point of view about mp 'cuz I believe many users (not squad members) may have similar problems. I'm rather shy person and with irregular free time after work. If I have time to play I go online mp open servers only. My english is still far from perfect in speaking but no problem in understanding. I must admit joining TS stresses me a lot :(. Hell, I don't even like to speak in my native language on TS. No squad membership then for me and no pasaran on closed servers 'cuz silent person isn't wanted there even if behavior is by the book. However I think I could handle communicating in brevity code using keys (like in SP game) or via chat. Keys option would be much easier, quicker than writing in chat imho. Chat still would be needed in situations harder to explain. So a big wish is an internal communicator (like TeamSpeak with T.A.R.S.) - when someone with mic speaks, other persons on same frequency hear him. But persons not using mic can still communicate, construct brevity code sentences using Function Keys (something similar like is possible now but with more options - i.e. COPY, NEGATIVE commands). What do you think? -
Look at this plastic 1:48 model from HobbyBoss (unfortunatelly A version): [EDIT] It's not mine :D Source (amason61): http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t52567.html

I had this problem too. It was because I patched my DCS install since full 1.0.0.6. Now you have to go for full 1.0.0.8 installation or patch 1.0.0.8 on full 1.0.0.7 installation. I hope it's clear.

I know it ain't easy.

Keep up the good work. It's brilliant. However, I'm 'lil worried about mp atc... It's a nasty obtrusive permament bug.

Not understanding this whole HARS ramp start thing.

Page 13th of that quick start: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1003873&postcount=1 Note that before "Step 30", when flashing INS NAV RDY in CDU, you have to press OSB 9 first to switch to the navigation Mode. After that "step 30" VVI will show up on HUD and you will be able to arm EAC. -

What kind of penalties wait for bad use of generators in real A-10? -

Great! I was confused 'cuz logic says to turn generators after engine start-up but some YT tutorials show it doesn't matter really. -

I really like HARD preset from the 1st post. Installed, love it and will leave like that. Thanks Nate. Which do you personally prefer? -
Any way to turn those tree shadows off for a while until next patch which I hope will correct this? (in some config file maybe)

Oh yeah! "The big fellows" come to bank turn with such an aggression indeed. :D

Heavy son-of-a-gun :D

Yes. Steam procedures... But I read somewhere (Kuky's post IIRC) that you can turn off automatic updates and patch Steam version manually. Don't ask me how - as I said I've heard it from someone else.

Great news. Downloading as we speak. Huge thanks devs.

I use "Game Booster" to turn off every not needed thing in Windows when I play heavy games. -
^ One of disadvantage of freetrack now is that you won't find 64bit soft for it yet. So you'll have to fly on 32bit ver. of Hog.

It's not a thread about making scenery - it's about adding nationality to coalition group. Hello! :mobile:

There is no way to fly without TrackIR again for me :). If it would brake I immediately buy new one (and I would be happy as the first time when package arrived).

I heard C. Norris copied whole internet on such thing.
