I guess DCS would still be CPU limited even with the 4090 and 9800X3D ... so is the 5090 really worth it in VR with a Crystal Super?

Hi - on my HP G2 even though I can get great frame rates, one annoying problem is the micro-shake of the elements in the scene. For example, most noticeably, is the shaking of the text in the F10 menu. Is there a way to mitigate this micro-shake and what is it caused by?

Last time I had Radeon was the 9700 Pro back in 2003, IIRC!

As per the title, I created a mission to drop a load of Mk-82s on some ground units at Beirut Airport and after pickling off the munitions in CDIP mode, after switching to external view to watch the action the game froze. Had to CTRL / ALT / DEL to get back to desktop. Log and mission file included.dcs.log F-15% Mk 82s.miz

Hoping the Crystal / Crystal Lite works well with the GTX 3090. What is the most significant difference between the Lite and the Crystal? Would you say the Crystal is better than the G2 overall?

Any ideas what's best to move up to from the G2? Shame that Varjo aren't doing any consumer units any more. Tricky to know what's best now ...

Eventually solved the problem! Went through these steps: 1. Thinking that this was caused by a latest firmware for my MoBo, I reverted to the previous version last year --> NO JOY 2. Uninstalled nVidia drivers and reinstalled latest --> NO JOY 3. Upgrade MoBo chipset drivers --> NO JOY 4. In BIOS looked for any errors in USB devices --> NO JOY 5. Uninstalled WMR and reinstalled --> NO JOY 6. Changed the 5A fuse in the plug for the G2 --> NO JOY 7. Tore some more hair out --> NO JOY 8. Had a coffee --> NO JOY 9. Changed to a third USB-C port on the PC --> JOY!!!! For some inexplicable reason, the USB card in my PC had stopped working. Not sure why but will investigate further. Thanks for all the help.

That's very kind and yes checked that the little light was on and pressed the button on the box, but nothing. Should I be pressing that for more than half a second though to reset it? Light does turn on and off when I do press it each time.
