  1. Just a question. Where is the rear circuit breaker panel? When Wags released the manual on page 82 and 83 the rear circuit breaker panel was implemented. Why is it missing? TX
  2. If you read Mit FW 190D-9 im Einsatz by Axel Urbanke, ( its about the III/JG54 later becoming II/JG26, so he prefers only to this unit and the I/JG26) it says that many D-9 were lost because of mechanical failure. The D-9 was a very good plane but had the typical "Kinderkrankheiten", spare parts were rare and as you know, the material was far from good. I dont say that it had more crashes then the 109 but many were lost due mechanical failures.
  3. Somebody asked for the MW 50 runtime. I know it was used for 10 minutes. Can this be included too? TX
  4. It depends wich Dora he means. The D-12 and D-13 had an enginemounted cannon. The D-11 had two 2cm and two 3cm cannons on the wings. Yes the D-9 had two 13-mm-MG-131 (top) and two MG 151/20 cannons in wingroots.
  5. Oh shit, i love all the planes made by ED. So i will fly them all when available but as Sith wrote it down, i need the right environment with all stuff on it. Yes cant wait for the EDGE Normandy too
  6. Yes sure i will. Natürlich mache ich das!!!!!!
  7. Thanks, great, downloading and reading :)
  8. Thanks Wags for the update and news. Thanks for ED to keep WWII alive.
  9. I am happy to get the airplanes, if not all, i dont care i buy them even if i am a backer with more then 100. I started my "career" with Flanker/Flanker 2.0 and was happy when Lock on and later Flaming Cliffs were published. I have all of them. I amv ery content with ED, they are making a great job, for mr the best sims. I like those "real" airplanes. The extras (for me the manuals): I can print them on Lula, have the A-10C, i am very pleased with their print but i can live with the PDF s too. For now i am so glad to "have" my Dora. Cant wait to feel her and to take my hands on her. Hals und Bein:pilotfly:
  10. The increased power could be used for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time
  11. Dont care about the civilians, give me that plane:)
  12. Would love to have the MK V. Nice airplane and a good tank hunter. May be one day we can hunt Tigers or Panthers or Kitties:)
  13. Hi, you are right, it s ok if available for the D-9 without any doubt. The more the better but i dont like it anyways
  14. This is my opinion. I for myself hate the 21cm Rocketlauncher. Its too heavy, slows the bird down in speed and agility. Much better R4m rockets or like the D-11 with two 3cm canons against bombers.
  15. I read this one too: This Dora [aircraft was flown by MajorFranz Götz, CO of JG 26 (Ritterkreuz holder, 63 victories)]was captured by the Royal Air Force at Flensburg-Weiche airfield. The German national insignia was overpainted with a dark blue-grey colour by Britishpersonel with strangely positioned small white stars on the fuselage and wings. The inscription 'USA 14' was handpainted on the starboard side of the tail also. This aircraft took part in two mock dogfights with a Hawker Tempest Mk.V on July 25, 1945. The Dora was flown by German pilots – Maj. Heinz Lange (former Kommodore of JG 51, Ritterkreuz holder, 70 victories) a Oblt. Günther Josten (former Kommandeure of IV./JG 51, 178 victories). Based on this evaluation, both aircraft were considered to be nearly equal except for speed at height where the Dora was better. This Dora was handed over to the Americans and shipped overseas via Cherbourg, France, aboard the British aircraft carrier HMS Reaper to the U.S.A
  16. metal blades on VDM VS 111? Hi, dont get me wrong i only wanted to clarify this, may be that i misunderstood it. On page 27 it says that the "three bladed VDM VS 111 constant speed propeller with metal blades". What does thie mean? Full metal or only metal sheets? To my knowledge the Doras and even the Tank 152 had wooden propellers. (VS9 and VS111) This was because of shortage and second, the engine was not desrtoyed or severed damaged after an emergency landing. There is an statement of an pilot(dont ask me wich side it was) in "Mit Fw 190D-9 im Einsatz." from Axel Urbanke. On the last pages ( side 441 onward, Mit Fw 190D-9 im Einsatz.", Axel Urbanke) there are some great colored photos of the FW 190D-9, black 8, Wk.Nr 210968, after lifting her from Lake Schwerin in the 1990. Here is the website. http://daedalus-berlin.de/index.php%3Foption%3Dcom_content%26task%3Dblogsection%26.. Hope the devs can help me to clarify this. Thank you very much
  17. Great!! She is looking fantastic.
  18. Hi Sith, not only for you but me too! As most of the K-4 were produced by Mtt Rgb (or better Neutraubling) i dont like a bare metal K-4. The upper scheme is a Bf 109G-10 (you can recognize the loop antenna behind the canopy, the K-4 had the antenna a "block" further away) not a K-4. It was flown FW. Horst Petzschler 10/JG 51 who flew this G-10 to Sweden in May 1945. Its a well documented aircraft. There are some more differences but most of you know it, so i dont want to list them.
  19. Great stuff!! Must have for me
  20. Hi Lino Thank you!! Downloaded. Nice work:thumbup: S!
