Thank you for replying here! :thumbup: Is there a software design issue that prevents a seperate volume control for outside world? imho, I believe that “In cockpit” volume should include how the outside world is heard in the cockpit, instead of the “world” volume does now. And “World” should control only the outside view. Today, if I want to hear a loud outside environment/sound inside the cockpit, I need to increase “world”.... very non intuitive, And if and when I accidentally switch to outside view - I go deaf :cry:. Your new feature to ‘fade in’, forces me to be quick with my fingers there, and zoom out every time I switch to outside view... very problematic and annoying imho. I want to be able to see outside objects from up close and not get deaf, while still hear them loud in cockpit. Can I get both? Hi, I’m reporting it here, as a bug/problem. as I see the famous and unique Abu Dhabi very tall and sail like control tower is missing from the airport. I waited for it to be included from the beginning, but since the map is officially released and it’s not there - it’s an issue. I don’t expect every rock and stone to get in the sim, but this is a flight simulator and this is a big significant airfield with a very special looking tower, which I can’t see why it wasn’t included. Especially when all kind of non flight related special buildings are included. Thanks.

You might be right in general about some of the complaints, But you miss 2 points here imho... 1. This is the “bugs and problems” thread, made for reporting exactly that. 2. This is a high fidelity simulator, the highest for civilian use, accurate to the last unclassified button, so it is expected to be on par almost about every where in the simulator. ED and their developers know exactly to what crowd they are selling their product to, They also release incomplete content knowingly, and expect the community to help with finding their bugs and problems, hence this thread and the open beta version. So I see no point in trying to make that part of the community, that do report problems, which not all are real, but still mostly helping the devs voluntarily, for free, find their errors (it is a commercial product we paid for, remember?) feel bad about it. It’s only contributing to the level of this amazing simulator. Hardcore community = nittpicking :thumbup: Cheers

True. But considering it is a flight simulator after all, a control tower gone missing from an airport, is not some negligible artifact in some nicely done ruins somewhere.... :smilewink: especially not this special unique control tower...

Hi, As the moon is brought back to us in DCS, it looks very small. There was an old mod for 1.5 for a bigger moon ( I believe Mustang created it back then : https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2073267&postcount=2) Is there a mod for it now? (I don't mind about Integrity check) Would be great if someone can make it. Thanks!!

Hi, (Maybe this was discussed before, but I couldn't find it) As the great and amazing PG map is declared 'released'/'final', I wonder where is the iconic Abu-Dhabi's intl' airport control tower?? I hope with so many buildings and structures around - it was not forgotten... Thanks!

Hi, I'm very new to Viacom pro, sorry for the noob question... while testing it I find it impossible to call the tanker, although it recognized my command, whenever I call tanker or Texaco to rejoin, it calls my flight to rejoin... what is the magic word? :) thank you

Too bad it was not published in advance...:( If it was - then it was not clear. I was waiting as well to use my bonus credit, and after the sale has ended I tried and failed to buy and use them, discovering via support guys that HB wont accept bonus points. Had I known this earlier I would have gotten it earlier in the combo deal (Rio+Pilot)... Now we just have to wait and wait for the next sale again...:mad:

Not working for me still... the problem is the path... The music should definitely work since it's ogg file that works as a mod. Is the full path is still under saved game/dcs/missioneditor/themes/main/me/sounds.... or something else?? thank you

Yes, when one panel connected is half CPU load. nothing in windows event or error log. I'm attaching the debug log just in case.. Thank you, and sorry for all the trouble! it is a great software and probably an isolated issue related to upgrading Windows in the past... I use mine both as TDC, and with a modifier I use as zoom axis, which is very fast. Use curvature to adjust the default zoom you need, and while holding the modifier button I zoom in/out, leave the modifier and the zoom stays there. Good luck

I do have the latest bios. I've followed the Microsoft tutorial but it did not help. I've only recently noticed the CPU problem, so it might have been there for a long time already... My windows was upgraded to Win 10 and not fresh installed, so it might have created the conflicts here. I'm not sure that is the actual problem but it's the immediate suspect I've got. :noexpression: My other thoughts are that I wonder why is it not like this (high cpu usage) all the time those devices are connected? the device is connected, and the (possibly) bad drivers are installed, so I got to have high CPU usage all the time , right? But I get that only with DCSFP. When using the flight panel test software (Flight_Panels_x64_Software_8.0.150.0.exe) that also utilizes the drivers and panel - I get very low CPU usage. So either it's not the drivers fault, or the test software does something else unlike DCSFP? Just a thought... Thank you guys for the help!!

I've tried my monitors usb hub. no change. Tell me if you think it's this issue I saw now: On the drivers properties page, going onto events I see a message : Device HID\VID_06A3&PID_0D67\7&188321cb&1&0000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match. I've tried uninstalling the device, and also the other 'conflicting device', also passed through the registry and deleted all it's entries (by the other device ID - it's my Sidewinder FF2) then restarted windows, and plugged only the panel, and now it conflicted with another device that was not currently connected) the same way... I removed it as well with the same method. restarted and reconnected the panel only. now it re conflicted with my previous Sidewinder again.... before all that I went through a helpful video of : How To Remove Old Device Drivers From Windows 10 it didn't help for my current issue but it might help others... Not sure this is the cause of my issue but that's allI got now....:( Thanks!!

Thank you very much for your support!! I did try update driver button - but it could not find better ones.... Unfortunately I could not remove the drivers and they just re-install themselves when I plug the panels back in. I guess I need the correct inf files for the drivers to try and force update them (or format windows... :huh:)

Attaching latest DCSFP version with CPU usage, not running anything yet, with the driver version. it seems another driver version (but from the same date..(?)) I could not update it via windows update to match your version.

Hi Artur, Yes I have connected the switch panel to the other computer and it was running fine. So I guess something went wrong at my pc, but can’t find what is it. Uninstalling the driver didn’t work, windows installed it right back again. Maybe I did it wrong, but I can’t put the finger on it... Thank you for helping! Ron
