If I select de right resolution I use the Windows settings instead of the Nvidea software. I have Windows 8 so it must be familiair to Windows 7. First I go to the displaysettings in the Control Panel. I click on the advanced settings I click on the button "List all modes" Now I choose the right resolution for the display. Please remember: before making any chances choose the small display first by clicking on it in the first picture. Good luck. Arthur

Thanks for the reply's guys. Maybe i'll consider the Intel Core i5-3350P. This one is cheaper because the lack of a built in video card. It is doing 155 Euro at this moment while the i3 is around 100 Euro in the shops. /Arthur

Ok, thanks guys. I'll go for the i5. Ciao, /Arthur

I have plans to buy a new main board and cpu (i3 or i5) Has the latest DCS versions advantages of a multicore cpu? I have read on a hardware website that the i3 is sufficient for full HD gaming. But the i3 has only 2 cores and the i5 has 4 cores. Use A10 4 cores of a cpu? Thanks for any help. /Arthur

Are there plans for the Red Baron's Fokker triplane? I like to see that implemented as well. Anyway, it is nice to see a real successor of FSX. It seems that Micro$oft is lost too :pilotfly: 1 april joke? :megalol::cheer3nc:

No, I find it useful. A lot of people like the warthog because it fits the A-10. I don't want to put all my cards on one simulator.
-
Thanks for your reply Sarge55, Yes I have rudderpedals so thats not an issue. How about the software of the Warthog. Is it easy to use and well explained in a manual? Arthur

He Krycek, I use it for BS and A10. (Just started with A10) I know both Hotas have advantages en disadvantages but the most important thing is the quality for me. I know the older hotas of thrust master wasn't that good....(without the expensive mods) Arthur

Hi all, i am thinking to buy a new Hotas. The problem is I can't make a good choice between these 2. I was wondering about the difference in build quality and the quality of the software delivered with these 2 hotas. The difference in price isn't much anymore just 20 euro here in the Netherlands. Problem with automatic turn and aotopilot
ArtMan_NL replied to ArtMan_NL's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
I think I found myself the answer for the autopilot problem :poster_oops: I just have to press [R] ..... Hmm, anyway still have problems with autoturn... -
You can switch on a kind of subtitle. You see the translated message in English in the upper left corner when Betty speaks in Russian.

Hi Guys, Hope somebody can solve my problem. Please see my trackfile. I just fly a route and want to turn the autopilot on. Whatever I do the ka-50 won't follow the desired track. What do I wrong? Same issue with the automatic turn. I engage some tanks with the vikhr but I have to manually keep the circle on the target while I have switched on the automatic turn button. I did everything to solve the problem en read the manual several times. Unfortunately I can't find a clue to solve my problem. Thanks a lot in advance for any help AutomaticTurnProblem.trk

Best Nvidia driver for gtx 560 ti (MSI Hawk)
ArtMan_NL replied to ArtMan_NL's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Hi Rusty: Finally I found the issue. Hmm I translated it from Dutch so I hope you'll find the right settings. Go to "manage 3d settings in th Nvidia program (its in your right taskbar) Go to Tab "Program Settings" Choose option 1 and add "Simulator.exe". You'll find it here: ?:\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\x86\stable The Antialiasing Modus is the most importend one. Choose here "disable all program settings" (not the "off" option) Finally I got the razor sharp pictures  Please remember I translated from Dutch so in English it might look a littlebit different. After all I installed the latest driver: 280.26 THis one is whql certified. Yes I have A-10 installed but the chopper is much nicer :joystick: Arthur -
Hi Guys, I was wondering which driver I should use for a MSI Hawk GTX 560 ti. The reason for this questing is that I have some trouble to adjust any AA settings in Nvidia profile for simulator.exe. Whatever I do nothing change. I gave nHancer a try but it this program start and immediately disappear in Windows 7 64 :( I'm just gaming in 1920x1080 with 1 monitor. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks a lot guys for this clear explanation. That was really helpful. It seems that I have to practice more. You guys hover a lot by hand or do you use the autohover function a lot?
