  1. it's pretty bad for me and I've got all my modules running at a constant 72fps apart from the Apache which dips in and out of 72fps depending on the map/mission/whether or not the targeting pod is on. Kiowa seems to always be running around 30-35fps on VR and the problem seems to be when inside the cockpit. Going into external views gets me back to 72fps. Specs if anyone is interested: 9700k RTX 4080 64GB ram Quest 3 running most DCS graphics stuff on medium/low hoping it gets optimised or ED releases their single render thread soon. really enjoying the feel of the heli though - it's really well made and an awesome addition to the game so will 100 percent be worth a buy once performance improves

  3. Enjoying it generally but the VR performance is even worse than the Apache which used to be the worst performing module until now.
  4. Persian Gulf, but only because it seems to have the best VR performance. Ask me again once we get VR performance improvements and I'm sure it will change.
  5. Any plans on adding datalink to the F15C now we have it for the FA18 and F16? Seems like it would be easy to port this over. The BMS version which models the full capability of the F15 has it and it improves SA quite a bit. Plus other FC aircraft on the Russian side have it.

  9. would rather have the guns-a-go-go version than the modern version but would be cool if ED used the modern version to fast track the guns version at some point
  10. Can we get a list of weapons/attachments you plan on adding to the module? For example, can we go full gunship like in this picture? Also will we get AI for each gunning position like in Huey?

  13. Have you tried any of the Grayflag servers? Makes flying the Huey way more fun with an actual purpose. Currently my favourite module. Nothing beats finding a spot to drop troops and supporting them from the air as they clear areas.
  14. Any news on implementing AI? Love the Gazelle but without a copilot you are pretty much a moving glass cannon with limited situational awareness.
  15. I think the balance is right. Being able to see a little too much as opposed to not being able to see enough is better. Especially given that flying on a screen is really limiting for spatial awareness due to headtrackers not syncronising with muscle memory like VR.
  16. Sure it can be tuned over time but at the moment it adds far to the game than whatever you think it takes away.
  17. Thanks to the devs for adding this in. The extra situational awareness adds a whole new layer to the game and makes it way more playable.
  18. No servers showing for me either. Forced update and was already on the latest version.
  19. Will the F4 introduce napalm or is ED working on that weapon type exclusively?
  20. Don't really see any servers with dynamic ground battles happening and one of the reasons that's cited when you ask why is because doing so has a huge impact on performance. Evilnate's answer pretty much explains how this is going to be addressed further down the line but an update on progress from the devs would be good on how that's going.

It's well known in DCS that having ground units move drastically impacts game/server performance leading to the current state of the game where air to ground missions are done against groups of non-moving targets. Has there been any updates on working to improve this? If not could I request that the devs give us one?

  23. There were plenty of times he did have clear LOS, there weren't any other missiles in the air, he had Hellfires 'WAS'd' exclusively and he still wasn't firing. I started spamming the authorise button towards the end when I was getting frustrated he wasn't firing. This wasn't a sincere attempt at getting him to fire.
