  1. It surely looks great and this is the next step I would like to take. Could those also do the job ? : http://www.pearl.de/a-PX8046-5618.shtml?query=somikon+8+lcd+monitorr Thank you for your contribution on that topic which will always interest newbies like me (allthough I've read a lot about MFDs and which kind of screen to put behind ;)) . By the way, TM Hotas Warthog and the combat pro rudder pedals are really enjoyable and it's great having them Tschüss
  2. Hi, I was about to ask the same question since I'm basically two steps behind (no lcd screens behind MFDs and no UFC) compared to you :smartass: So, I decided to perform a small search on the forum. I found the answer, but leave WRFirefox the honor to answer your question ;) Otherwise I found a very interesting thread in : Sim Topics >> Input and output >> "Cougar MFD LCD Recommendations?" Especially the links given by Splash might interest you: They are really cheap Anyway your begining looks promissing WRFirefox!
  3. Hi, my bro sent me this link today : http://www.bananahobby.com/2076.html Absolute awesome model and pictures here imho. Cheers
  4. Thank you very much EtherealN for this fast answer really usefull to me  I didn't back up the file with Steam yet but I was thinking to do so. Again, thank you for this warning. I think I should go through it.
  5. Hi Gents, At last and to my great surprise, I discovered that the Steam version of DCS A-10C has been finally patched. I was really intriguished by a Windows update that was really going to nowhere. I stopped it, reboot the computer and started the Hog. Before entering cockpit, i checked the ME/MISC/Credit window and SURPRISE ! It was there ! I knew I could have skipped the Stam update but I prefered to wait since tomorrow, I'm getting a new hardware and I hope I can transfer the Steam version of DCS A-10C on it. Then hasta la vista Steam... but only for this great sim. In the future, I will run the next updates from ED site or buy a version from them

    Uk Riots

I hope all those muggers will be arrested and punished the way they deserve. The video linked by Asparagin was a real pain and I hope the victim will be all right as soon as possible. Finally I really thought those aggressors couldn't even be compared with animals, since animals behave with much more dignity. I wish that the situation in UK will come back to a normal one as soon as possible. Take care
  7. Hi, intersting video and nice landing. Were those failures random ? If so, it's also a good illustration of Murphy's law : if something has to go wrong, it will for sure, with generally maximum annoyance. Otherwise, there's no issue with the mouse. This is how it looks like since patch 1.1.0.9
  8. I did fly your last mission today and landed without any difficulty. The very first missions you posted here, which I used to practice instrument landings, made me really fall in love with flying in bad weather conditions. Thank you Cibit
  9. Hi there ! Just to add a word, but this has been probably noticed already, the medals you get are really those of the country you choose for your pilot. Otherwise, I think you are awarded medals mainly on your score. I mainly flew single player missions included within the game and several downloaded from here, and I have one profil very similar to the one of Rodborza. Wouldn't be funny to see equivalent medals from all countries represented in DCS A-10C ?? Just a thought... Thank you for reading Laurius
  10. Hi Lobo, I saw your demo today and enjoyed it very much. Your attempt is more than successfull ! Nice flight and nice vid by the way. It's really as if we were on the ground watching you. Good idea to add real GAU-8 and real demo spectators sound and voices.
  11. Hi Chrisakky, Very nice vid and congratulations for your low flying ability  I downloaded your mission and flew it successfully allthought not as low as you did (I didn't pass under every electric lines). Very enjoyable ! Thank you !
  12. Welcome Tzeer
  13. Thank you WarriorX. I consider it was the elementary politeness before going further in my future posts
  14. Thanks for your welcome messages guys. It's really nice to be here with people from all over the world sharing the same interest. I'm also glad to know there are Frenchmen out there. Take care and watch your six ! ;)
  15. Hi there, hi Pilots ! For my first post, I wanted to say a bit about myself. My name is Laurent, I'm 42 years old and I live very close to Grenoble, the door of the Alpes. I discovered DCS A-10 C Warthog when it came out on Steam. I knew about DCS Black Shark and was already amazed by how it looked like, but a bit scared by its complexity, which made me hesitate a long time for buying it. The DCS A-10 C came out and I was really astonished by the beauty of this sim. Since I prefer war planes to hellis, I was not scared anymore and told myself : this time I want it, whatever the complexity !! So, I ordered it on Steam and everything is fine. Since then, I came very often on this forum and I have to say that I'm really impressed by this communty and the passion that members are showing. The different posts in various topics helped me a lot to progress with the Warthog handling and now I feel fine with it but I'm sure there is still a lot to learn. Allthough I did most of the single missions of the game, and some simple missions downloaded from this forum, I still have to make the leap in the multiplayer aspect of this sim. As a final word I would say : THANK YOU !! Continue the good and amazing work and many many thanks to Eagle Dynamics for such an amazing simulation Have a nice day and nice flights
