Building the Best and Possibly Last Manned Fighter Jet for the U.S. Military (Full Documentary) Sorry if it's been posted before... Otherwise, enjoy !

Hi Mate, sorry to tell you it that way but I'm afraid your FB page won't have much interest from DCS World fans and users since there is already a place to share screenshots, and it's on ED Forum. There's a section for this ;) But why not, if it can draw attention to potentially new users. Anyway, good luck

Hi ! I can't help posting this one ! Probably seen by most of you ... Sorry, if so... No pun intended ! And if I may, I'd like to share this one. with you. Once again, no critics, just to say that having a dashcam is really the way to go ! Apparently and fortunatly, nobody was injured  in this video Laurius

TM Cougar MFD's & MIMO 7" 710S Display
Laurius replied to NatoBoomerang's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I confirm there will be sizing issues with 7" screens in the sense that Cougar MFDs won't be fully covered by the these screens. Try to find 8" screens or go with your MFDs attached to a single monitor and then export MFDs display to that 2nd monitor. You'll find lots of ressources here to do so -
New video - DCS World Tv Commercial
Laurius replied to Glowing_Amraam's topic in Screenshots and Videos
Nice vid ! So much in such a short time ! I'd like to add that I also very welcome the choice going for "Two Steps from Hell" as soundtrack. That's real epic music for ED, an epic high-end fidelity digital simulators producing company ! -
@ Karambiatos & Griffin : Thanks for the info and insights If I may, here's first a special "thank you" to ED for the 1.2.7 release ! And some other things... (sorry for those already knowing about them and/or if it's been posted before) On the lock & on the glide ... Some crosswind & turbulences... ;)

Impressive !! Two new more candidates for Darwin Awards 2014 ? I bet so, since in the end, it seems that things have really gone bad. The guy on the forefront seems to have his right hand as well as his head literally blown up right after the grenade exploded...:shocking: Any news from them ??

Hi Jaypee, Unfortunately Restrepo, Armadillo and Ross Kemp documentaries are no longer available on Youtube. I saw all of them one year ago or so but they were removed because of copyright problems with channels that own them... That's a problem with such kind of videos which I find very educational because they show how really things are, at least at the moment they are filmed. Especially for Ross Kemp series and some other, such as "Heroes of Hell Highway" about demining and "Inside Combat Rescue" series which illustrates the job of PJ's (Paramedic Jumpers) to cite few of them. Otherwise, I don't know if you're looking for more specificaly Afghanistan or Irak documentaries but here are some links I have : First, some on Afghanistan : About winning hearts and minds : The push to Bagdad-Iraqi Freedom : About the formation of ANA (very touching at the end) : (this one won't stay long on Youtube...) About Jack, a British soldier : About women on the front line in Afghanistan : Now, some on Irak : Fallujah : Irak war - NG : The push to Bagdad-Iraqi Freedom : Ummm... I think I'm gonna stop here ;) Cheers Laurius

That's right and I wish I could wish him a happy birthday, but I can't. All I wish for him is a fast recovery

Hi gents, I'm sorry to bring a sad news at this period of time. Recent details can be found here : http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/dec/30/michael-schumacher-doctors-update-condition-accident Let's hope he recovers soon

Thank you Frazer and USNavalAirForces for sharing those awesome videos

Yeah ! Or go simply with 8" Lillliput UM80s with USB connexions. Probably a bit of higher cost compared to previous suggestions but they will make your days brighter and without any troubles...And they will fit perfectly with MFDs Cougar for sure ! And they will stand on your desk by themselves with MFDs on them ;)

The cat in the shark costume is excellent !! Recently, I found this GIF and thought the fish was following buddy lasing. Then, I was told that it was looking like a Black Shark ! Man ! This is quite true in the end ! It belongs to the tetraodon family... TiX_23aaDXU&feature

If I may share my experience, I would say : try to achieve the 4 single missions (2 easy, 2 medium and 1 hard) found in the quickstart folder. With them you will learn a lot about the weapon's systems, situational awarness and about the JTAC. Then there are a lot of single player missions you can download from the DCS website and I'm sure you'll find some of interest for you for practicing what you need. But, as said by Joey, multiplayer is the way to go. There's no better way to interact with others and learn from those who have already the experience in the many aspects of this wonderful sim. And searching this forum will also bring you a lot of answers to the questions you might have Cheers and all the best

Thank you Namenlos Ein for providing new insights about this Wonder. My vision about the MFDs was really too simplistic and it was just a guess. Those elements are simply beyond my knowledge but now, I know that they exist and I'd like to know more about them. Amazing project which is now real, alive and kicking ! Congratulations to their fathers !

That's really crazy what some people can do ! This a real master piece of a RC model. I really wonder how the MFDs can be functional. It might be that there's just one static picture which is lighten up and then shown to whoever stands outside the beast. Anyhow, that's a wonderful achievement. The cherry on the cake would be to have functional ejection seats ;)

Hi Kombatkarl, and welcome to the forum. You will have to modify the .lua file associated with the card you will use to interface your switches. I have a GP WIZ 40 and it works great. Have a look at this post : http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1559307&postcount=10 Good luck

TrackIR Question - When checking six
Laurius replied to Wayc00lio's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
Hi, This thread is very interesting since I'm also very annoyed with what Wayc00lio describes. I will try the trick given by Tone71, and if not successful, the profil given by Konrad. Thanks guys  EDIT : Ticking "Trueview" indeed does the trick !
