Lol,trying to spot enemy aircraft through that canopy is nigh on impossible,period.........now don't get me wrong,I love all aircraft graphics to look as if they've been used,and the weathering on the MiG-21 is great......but the canopy ??? At present it's like looking through a 50 year unloved old greenhouse window !.....but what's infuriating,is that once upon a time it was fine,so who thought that this current effect was a good idea ? Especially in dear old DCS where spotting aircraft the best of times is difficult to say the least !!.......add into that mix,the current MiG-21 'greenhouse effect' as I like to call it,and basically your screwed I love the MiG-21 as a module to fly,it's cockpit is beautifully rendered,with all the buttons in the world to keep us flying jocks happy,but anything more than flying is quite frankly a joke. Going online and putting your wits against against anyone with a clear canopy is sheer suicide......so yes a clear canopy kind of makes sense guys.Surely the devs could fix this simple necessity for us......without it,the module is best left on the shelf for online combat,anyway,IMHO.

Thanks to Keefy Boy........we are now getting a decent looking MiG-21 Pilot......with the standard era white helmet. This is exactly how I wanted my MiG-21 to look like......PERFECTION !.....Thanks Keith

With all respect to the other A-4 Skyhawk skinners out there.....this is the best looking Skyhawk IMHO.......Kudos to Strut,and Porcorosso for the help with the flash on the avionics dome.

Thanks for that HuggyBear......btw that's a much more recent photo,and that paintwork is more than likely a repaint of the original,but it's nice to see it was still being re applied to re paints. So you can see chaps....that this marking is on every Huey.

Mainstay this is a superb MOD,I hate that bit of paper in front of the ASP block,I particularly like your ' Clean Black Version ' you created. However with all the updates to DCS,I cannot get this to work anymore,and would really appreciate it if you could update this for me please,as I fly the MiG-21 a lot,and would love to use this MOD again........thank you BTW YOUR Green cockpit looks superb as well Mainstay,this is how the MiG-21 pit should look IMHO....First Class. A dream MiG-21 cockpit for me would be to have a Green English Cockpit,with a clean ASP Block.....PERFECT ! So your MiG-21 cockpit below Mainstay......would for be superb,if we can have one like this for DCS V 2.5,that would be really nice ! ' Clean Black Version '

Would it be possible for a grey cockpit to be re skinned or textured to have these missing markings applied please ? Basically the graphic artist who created the grey and black cockpit options left of the ' EMERGENCY EXIT ' marking from the trim of the cockpit.It's not a major issue,but those markings are on every UH-1H Huey,so it would be nice to have the cockpit represented as it should be. The yellow trim this marking is stencilled on is also missing from the DCS Huey cockpit,but once inside,you can see where it could fit. There is a missing marking that was not picked up by the cockpit graphic artist on the Huey. It is the ' EMERGENCY EXIT ' markings at the front of the cockpit,stenciled out in the same colour of the cockpit in this case grey,on the yellow trim.The yellow trim it's stencilled on is also missing from the DCS Huey cockpit,but once inside,you can see where it could fit. See my pics to verify my request.....would it be at all possible for a skinner to be able to create this marking and trim,using the grey cockpit option please.This is not a big issue,but it would be nice to have the cockpit replicated as it should be,these markings are on every UH-1H Huey. I have uploaded pics for left and right sides of the cockpit. Don't take any notice of the pilot,it's the marking in frontof them that's in question,thanks. BTW apart from the first picture,the rest of the pics are all original period Vietnam Hueys.

I don't see any MiG-21 Pilot skins with any different colour helmets other than grey,which is the default colour. Is it not possible to skin them ?.........I would love to see just a plain white version,no markings etc......just plain white,this is what the majority of MiG-21Bis pilots wear......not grey. I have notice though,when you eject,your 'grey' helmet,suddenly becomes white !......it does look a bit daft in practice. The current default helmet is grey with '21' painted on the front ????.....not very realistic,and surely they could've done a better job than this?,it's these smaller details that make our flying complete. Just an observation just Google 'MiG 21Bis Pilot',and see where I'm coming from. The MiG-21 Pilot as he appears from start up.......at this point he wears a Grey Helmet Once Ejected the pilot takes on a whole new look !...He's had time whilst ejecting to even change his flight suit,amazing !....and wait,he's also changed his helmet too,and wow,that's the helmet I'm after,Lol !

Ahhh yes,the old DCS 'See Saw' module !...... I'm not sure if the DCS module has the true representation of the fight characteristics of a real Mig 21,or,if my workaround is true to life,in getting the MiG to fly parallel,but I have found,if you keep your elevator parallel with the centreline of the fuselarge......ie resist using Pitch trim,she'll not see saw,period. In short you have to man handle the bitch to behave.....you have to pull her up,and you have to push her down. The aircraft needs to be kept as straight in trim as possible....the very input of Pitch trim,ie having the elevator's at an angle,seems to set this phenomena off. I also use an extension with my TM Warthog,for those interested.......anyway try it,and see if this helps you.

Thank You HungaroJET,my R-3R's are corrected too,I really appreciate this help,without guys like you,some of us would be in a right pickle. Restored the R-3R's and they look the business again. I have reported this bug to ED see link https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3836788#post3836788 The issue lies with ED not Magnitude 3 LLC........ED needs to finally get rid of the low poly R-3R and R-3S missiles locacated in the Bazaar/World/Shapes folder for good,then we wouldn't be getting these issues.Until they do this issue will go on and on. The issue is nearly 4 years old !! This is how R-3R ATOLL Missiles should look.

I require a little assistance gents,please,I have been enjoying the VSN F-4E MOD,it's all working ok......however all my F-4E wheels/tires have corrupted textures ??? I am using the latest version of DCS.......maybe that's the issue,but I'm not sure,please help,thanks.
