havent finished reading all the posts, but the movie clips i have of the sa11 launcher shows a load more dust clouds than in lockon, by far. dont know how you could miss it! opps-kula just before me stated it!

If yo have a close freind with fast inet you could take it over to his house with a data stick(like ones from cameras but bigger) and just upload it to lomacfiles from there. if you do this make sure the card can be inserted into his computer(ive done this before) Ohh-i used to do this from the local library computers, give it a shot? that could sound like bad advice:( cant wait for it!

Speaking of video cards- i thought i would just reply by saying that my dad just bought a new ATI 1800XT video card. My computer contains a ATI 9800. but before my dad bought this card he had an nvida 7800. I just want to say how much better his new card is. It is amazing. He can run lomac everything on high and get between 60-85 fps. When loaded with many airplanes and vehicles he still never gets below 40 fps. Not only is it tons faster but for some reason lockon looks better. the only game that the nvida can compare with is bf2, just because it was made specifically for nvidias. i recomend this card for everyone! ps-he did by a refurbished one for 312$ plus shipping, but now the refurbished one cost more because there arent any left. keep in mind that brand new ones are only about 80$ more. when he got it it was a bigger gap. Also he bought a new mother board, he thought about doing sli but decided against it. sad part- i will never et to fly 1.1 on his computer until starforce is removed, which will be never.

cool thanks guys. I have heard the money from starforce part-as i recall it was hard to do and a waste of time, will look into it though and mrwolf-loskins-hahaha funny joke, but not funny.

I have a situation. My dad has a very busy job, but this part of the year is slow. He normally doesnt have time to play games but would like to atleast fool around with lockon. He wants to update to version 1.02 on his computer. I have 1.1 all the way to 1.12 on my computer but he doesnt want to get flaming cliffs for his computer. The reason is starforce-he has had problems with lockon, bf2, cod2, and splintercell. All of them have starforce to some degree and have screwed up his cd and dvd drives.(they didnt do that to mine) He has even tried the removal tools, didnt work. (dont ask to upgrade to 1.1 he wont.) My problem is- he still believes that 1.02 has starforce, although i tell him ED didnt implement the system until the downloaded version of 1.1. Can someone just inform him that 1.02 doesnt have starforce since he doesnt believe me:icon_roll That way he can atleast have the game patched to some extent.

That sound like a perfect idea. I was once in that position. I didnt play on the inet after i got dsl because i thought the game was dead.(due to ubi servers) Then 1 year ago i stumbled on this website and others and found out about HL and other really improtant subjects. No doubt i still suck when it comes to online playing(really wish i had more time than weekends to learn, setup, and play) but i have learned so much. Life would be different if it werent for LOCKON. Life would be different if it werent for school, but know doubt i need it.

I dont think ED is going to make it hard for a person to play this game. The settings will be very changeable i hope.

Really wish i could help, i just dont know how. I cant write code worth anything. I am still looking forward to the BSO. Also i thought the first campains would be singleplayer and the f-15 and had been downsized to about 60 missions. Now it sounds like both colitions and multiplayer. Am i write?

Does this work only for wide screen monitors or can anyone do this? This sounds extremly useful for me, it looks better. How does it work with track ir-and how do you get the settings to do that. I think i understand but thought i might ask to clarify!

Ya i wanna see the english version 2. I could tell it was voiced over. Was it the movie called "tactical assualt"? I wonder because i have never seen tactical assualt but has a russian plane on it and i think one of the characters in the clip-what was the name of the movie clip-what movie is it coming from? Does anyone know how to make startup screenes? I have some pics that i would like to use for myself but i dont know where or how to install them. Does any one know how? (modman and GUI configurator, maybe that helps)
