I noticed that the MWS responds only ~3/10 times and mostly very very late while testing some SAMs and practicing missile evasion in the A-10. Saw videos from earlier DCS versions where it would go off 9/10 times, right on missile launch. One of ralfidude's videos I think. Right now, it is next to useless to be honest.

He said the Warthog is better, not that whoever uses a Warthog is better. So nothing elitist about it - calm your horses.

I would love to see the A-6 Intruder, or the F-117A Knighthawk. Probably not very popular and most would consider especially the latter one "boring", but I am very fascinated by the "lone wolf invading deep behind enemy lines" scenario.

And because you are a nice human being, of course you are already looking to share what you know, instead of just hinting at those who sometimes wanna rip that nipple out... ok that sounds wrong but you catch my drift. :helpsmilie:

+1 bought a Warthog 2 weeks ago and besides the ridiculous slew-nipple, the HOTAS is a dream come true. Stopped playing 3 years ago because I was using a X-52 - a true piece of plastic crap. Told myself I won't re-enter any DCS cockpit without that Warthog HOTAS and I don't regret waiting/saving so long. Sell one of your kidneys, it is well worth it. Trust me...

OMG... and I wonder where that damn Shilka is in "Sunset Sierra".

During the official "SMERCH hunt" mission the JTAC did not give me remarks after the initial 9-liner when asking him to do so. Frequency was correct, obviously and I was anchoring in his area. Asking multiple times didn't help, neither did signing off and trying to do a new check-in - he just never answered anymore until I destroyed the target. For another target, same mission, it worked, he gave remarks and comms seemed normal.

Can confirm this. Observed it in multiple SP missions (ED)

DCS a ArmA killer, seriously!? I play the series since OFP and can not see how this could "kill" ArmA. Must have been a very quick idea of yours... If you think that through... oh boy.

I have the strong feeling that you simply lase too long/short - is that possible? When you use Autolase, be sure to set the Lasetime to 8-10 seconds (I always use 8 with perfect results). If you lase manually, be sure to activate the laser when TTI is around 10. But thats just poking in the hay. If you want the cracks here to figure your problem out, load up the record ;) Additional Note: You do not need to fly super precise when using CCRP. Even if you are off center, the bomb will hit accurately. At least I never had any problems... Edit: Oh... 3000/6000ft? Go higher. 6k works but while working with the TGP a minimum altitude of 10k is recommended (otherwise you wont find sh** out there ;)

I hear ya. Performance went down the river, thats for sure. Dont stress yourself and take it easy. Otherwise, creating missions isnt fun anyway. Have a good one! ;)

Ranger, I would offer help when you need vice overs for german tornado pilots or german forces in general. My accent is very noticable, would bring a lot of immersion. So let me know when you need german-english stuff, I would like to try, since I love your missions (and now stop browsing the forums and fire the editor up!!!)

Place some invulnarable (not invisible!) blue troops near the red ones, so you get a "troops in contact" situation. when close enough (a few hundred meters) the JTAC will use type 1 for safety reasons to prevent blue on blue fire.

CARRIER BASED - THAT is the important thing. That is the reason why I hope desperately for an F-18 or even F-14. Why F15 again? It has been already there and is again land based. Carrier Operations are the real deal I think and offer a maximum of possabilities/scenarios... Oh, and merry Christmas guys!
