  1. Tor works in AUTO mode by default in DCSW and in RL. TV target Designator is MAN mode , is used for low-fly target or be jammed. Tor-M1 manual said that.
  2. Test setting: SA-13 skill level excellent, heading 00,state RED, target coming from 6 o'clock Target altitude 2000m Result: without DogEar : SA-13 launcher turn(heading 180) and shoot @ slant ~2.8km with DogEar : SA-13 launcher turn(heading 180) and shoot @ slant ~3.2km
  3. I think what Ragnarok said is LOS rate limit. He is right, so far. LOS rate limits of AIM-120B/C/ R-77, are the same, 29.79 degree/sec, as FC2 did. 120C is the best for 1 vs 1, R-27ET is the best for MP. :) 120C head-on shot, dot centered, for reasonable pks: high to medium, 6-8nm high to high, 10-12nm medium to low, 5nm R-27ET will get LA within 30km if target turns AB on. SARH missiles benefit from altitude advantages, but suffer from lock-break and chaff.
  4. precise, yes There is a picture in this forum, somewhere. In the lastest DCS World, AA missiles have AoA limit. For example, max AoA of AIM-120C ~16.616 degree. That's why AA is so important in 'close shot' scene - missile cannot turn quick enough , which means miss. ARH missiles benefit from loft trajectory. Angle between trajectory and velocity is limited too, ~9.74 degree. How to peform a 30 degree loft? nose up +20 degree, hold and fire.
  5. Seems like the guy who host server has a dynamic-IP-assignment link, for example DHCP/PPPoE. WAN IP may change while IP-lease-timeout expires on these links. This will cause cliets connection lost. At the same time, this server can never be detected according to the timed-out IP/port, and will be removed from list / marked as 'inactive server'. Any 'Server Type = Internet' DCS server which did not appear in server list, can not 'Connect by IP' either. It's 'inactive'. If the guy who host server has DHCP/PPPoE link, setup server with 'Server Type = LAN', and clients join his server by 'Connect by IP'. Clients will suffer connection lost while his WAN IP change, but they can rejoin by Connect the new IP and life goes on.
  6. Ticonderoga has area-based damage module now:), 'hit the same spot' may be a bad idea. Check \Scripts\Database\navy\blue\ticonderoga.lua In fc2, ARMs can sink ships while not damage the radar, it's pretty funny.
  7. AI which make a success landing and park, will disppear in 30 minitues.
  8. That's what I'm looking for, for dynamic compaigns. 1) dynamic task schedule (CAP/Intercept/CAS/SEAD/GAI...). This can be done by SSE scripting now, unfortunately not for clients so far. 2) resource production/transport/availability logic chain unlimited planes and weapons seems too stupid 3) plane/weapon factory operating level control for example, by electric The resource system in ver1.2.5, is a something like ME-hardcoded resource restriction, can not be touched or controled dynamicly.
  9. trigger zone 'Zone_001' was added in ME. In the initalization script file, trigger.misc.getZone("Zone_001") always return nil. DCS World 1.2.5, with latest update. UPDATE: my fault, typo while debugging
  10. OK, something interesting. target ~50 degree right to my nose bank left vs bank right, different story. VS
  11. Latest update, F15C IFF is purely ranged based( magic range: 25nm/STT or TWS ), NTCR is broken. Range: 25.2 nm, target unkown Range: 24.9 nm, target identified
  12. In DCS World, 9M311(used by Tunguska/Kashtan/Kortik), is defined as radio-guided SS missile, not as radar-guided/semi-active SA missile.
  13. Generally, N001 is N019-Enlarged-version. Attachment 2 shows the frequency characteristics of them.
  14. Something from <<Electronic-Warfare-Fundamentals>> Chapter 17 Figure 17-8. Sample RWR EID Table The EID table is a predefined table of radar characteristics associated with known radar systems Figure 17-11. Signal Frequency Spectrum Figure 17-11 depicts a number of friendly and threat signals that operate between 8000 and 10,000 megahertz. On any given combat mission, it isquite possible that the RWR will receive signals from one or more of these threat systems at the same time. If frequency is the only signal characteristic available for processing, the RWR will not be able to determine which system the signal represents. Since threat systems operating in this frequency range are potentially lethal systems, the signal processor will attempt to match the frequency with a threat system from the EID table.
  15. Sorry sir, my radar is not looking down, I keep alt same as bandit or even lower. If the bandit turn 180 deg then turn back, you are expecting STT lock breaking TWICE.:smilewink::smilewink:
  16. YES, tested vs AI and vs human
  17. In 1.2.3, you can break STT lock within 10nm/5nm by notching
  18. :) 1.2.3 BUG report: F15C MPCD fuel tank indicator error Fuel tank is mount on center-line, the indicator says it's on the right wing , external view says it's on center-line...
  19. Autoupdater: Downloading 1,036,500,630 bytes ... Nice job!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  20. In MP missions, some AA missiles will not self-destruct, flying with negtive altitude and 1~2m/s descending. If altitude of these AA missiles reach about -70km(or 5 minutes after they begin flying with negtive altitude), client crashes.
  21. If runway is destroyed, players who join server after the attack(or just exit and join again) can takeoff / land without problem. It may be a DCS World issue.
  22. I'm shocked. World-wide service like Master server, SHOULD have a backup system to provide 7*24 hours service.
  23. You guys are getting hungry:)
  24. In my experience, code 502 always means something bad:(
