  2. 1. If ED has no interest resolve the horrible Master problem, ED have no future in Chinese civil market. In fact, all FC/DCS communities in China have collapsed or on the edge of it. We know the reason: Nobody will buy games as enshrines. 2. J-15 is not declassified yet, it could be modeled, for military market only.

Just talk about TEWS/RWR in this game, and the old LO/FC TEWS/RWR is just the same thing: 'Abstract RWR' A little analysis of 'Abstract RWR': In this game, 'Emitter Power' is linear to 'Distance'. Emitter Power = 1.0 - Ctype * Distance * E-6 For Su27 and F15, Ctype = 5 SPO light the RWR 'lights' linearly to the 'Emitter Power', that's why you can read distance according the 'lights', empirically. TEWS doses not show symbols linearly to 'Emitter Power', so you have to estimate the distance.

  6. VPN is the solution for client only. If server login master server by VPN, clients will see the VPNed IP in the MP server list, not the true server IP. Clients will fail to connect the VPNed IP or have big ping values. If server has problem connecting to master, it will be VERY unstable, forget MP experience.
  7. That's what Steam/WOT did. Intercontinental TCP connections are short-lived. ED should setup a master mirror, Asia-side of the Asia-US undersea optical cable.

I tried my export scripts with latest DCSW (Ver 1.2.12.35194), and found some changes of export data: 1. flaps status will not be indicated 2. parachute status will not be indicated 3. waypoints table empty 4. 'autopilot failure' status always on 5. autopilot mode always be FOLLOW_ROUTE 6. HSI infomation changed 7. Alt Baro did not match in-game data(HUD) some export data may be not reliable now, we need use it carefully.

  14. From the in-game data graphic above, I can not read the 'discrepency' until the takeoff moment. So, it's a reasonable guess that IAS source is different between 'on ground' and 'in air'. Another problem in the graphic, TAS > IAS when the plane is flying heading wind , is it right?

  21. Yes, we know it. Keep a missle in the sky, SA8 will have to bet it will not hit him. If SA8 intercept the missle, you will have a chance to go deeper and get a real lock. It's strategy, not technique.
