  1. Thanks Wags, I had misread that earlier.
  2. Just wondering if any aspect of the PNVS of the NVG has been implemented yet or if that's to come with the HMS system. I don't see anything in the controls list or any way to turn it on.
  3. Great idea. I think that the numbers on the island are lighted though so wouldn't that present another issue other than just the graphic overlay?
  4. Could you please make the Dwight D Eisenhower livery available for the new carrier? I know there's a mod available but not sure if it works with the new carrier.
  5. First impression is that the Hornet is amazing. Just one request. Please get it out to the stable version ASAP. Really happy at this time though. I've already done a few land takeoffs and some carrier landings and just did some general flying around in the Caucasus map. Thanks for all your hard work on getting this early release out to us!
  6. Yeah, that's really strange. I have the exact same file in that folder with the space and they work fine. So I'm not sure why it would be different with your setup. Sorry I misunderstood your original post.
  7. I'm aware of this but when you load the CH manager it adds drivers for the pedals. I've never had problems assigning the axis or fine tuning them after installing the CH manager. Before that I had problems. It was just a suggestion that you try it because I found that the pedals don't really work correctly without it.
  8. I have the same pedals and if you use the CH Control Manager software it takes care of that I'm pretty certain. You have to use it to calibrate them anyhow because you can't do it in Windows.
  9. Any chance that this is still going to happen? It's been discussed in the past and Wags mentioned that this is something that was planned for future releases. If so will we see it with the now unified version of DCS World?
  10. Thanks, I've been doing it wrong for years now and didn't realize it.
  11. Was that changed? The only reason I'm asking is because in the past I didn't need to have two waypoints.
  12. OK, I get it now. In the old editor version the race track was a fixed distance for the most part and you only needed one waypoint for the orbit (unless I was using it wrong or not understanding the complete function). What you are saying is that now you can have the racetrack go between two waypoints. So if you set the racetrack to go north and south between waypoint 1 and 2 and put them 5 miles apart the orbit will actually be between those points? And are you also saying that you can orient the racetrack so if I put the waypoints oriented east to west it will honor that? And also does the distance extend or contract based on those distances?
  13. OK, here's a video showing the problem (ignore the jitters, not sure what caused it). Unless something has changed in the way you are supposed to send an AI into orbit since I started doing this 5 or 6 years ago then I'm stumped. And apparently this only is happening on my system. I deleted the end flag trigger because it was confusing to people what I was trying to do apparently. The AI should just go to waypoint 1 and go into an orbit but it clearly turns to the North and ignores the orders at waypoint 1. This problem happens with other aircraft as well like IL-76 or KC-135 with default coalitions so it's not because of my coalition changes. It was happening right from the first time with 2.5 beta.
  14. You are not understanding the problem Discwalker or I'm not explaining in a way that makes sense. This is a problem that appears to be happening on my system only and it's possible that something is wrong with the track file. I will upload a video.
  15. You need to look at the track file that I posted. As I already posted, it's happening only on my system for some odd reason.
  16. I tried it and the AI orbits at the second waypoint even though the orbit is set at the first waypoint. Can you confirm that this is just happening to me? I did try deleting the folder and letting DCS rebuild it but it didn't change anything.
  17. You might not have seen my previous post but I completely wiped my installation of 2.5 and started over fresh with a new install of 2.5 onto a clean SSD drive. This has been happening since the first time I installed 2.5 beta and was happening prior to me installing any of my mods or liveries. I even started with a clean user folder but it was still happening. I also explained that the countries data file has been altered so that's why you see an A-10 in the mission file, but it's been happening with that unaltered as well. So this is not a problem happening caused by mods. Doing a clean up and repair has not helped either. I have tried that. Did you look at my track file?
  18. Devrim's English cockpit mods for the FC3 birds but I've had the same problem with the IL-78 and the KC-135 refuelers. Other than those and my A-10C lua changes nothing else has been altered. I never had trouble with getting planes to orbit in 1.5.
  19. Look at my track file. I put it on our server and it still won't orbit.
  20. Sorry Falcon, I should have mentioned that we change the db_countries.lua file to add aircraft to other coalitions. But it was doing this prior to that so it's not a coalition problem. The reason you're not seeing it in the editor is that they're not available in there by default. The orbit command is there in my editor.
  21. I don't know what's going on because I just ran one of them on our server and they won't orbit. You'll see that the Mig-29 ignores the orbit order and just continues on to the next one. VAF Georgia On My Mind Triggers Caucasus-20180418-150304.trk
  22. I can't get a Hawk battery set up. I've looked through all the documentation a bunch of times and can't figure out this problem. I remember there being a minimum distance from the logistics but can't find that in the lua. I have all the necessary pieces to set it up. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? Do you need a zone? I thought you could deploy them anywhere.
  23. Completely fresh installation on a new SSD drive.
  24. I'll have to do a track file then. They are definitely not orbiting for me when I run the mission. They all just head home.
