  1. Nope man, read again. What I said was a QUESTION. I checked the log file and FOR ME the update is about 1GB. :-/ Having said that I might add that I have restarded the updater a few times by now. Yeah man but see how YOU understood my post and he didnt? So yeah, as long as there are official posts from fine people like you (thanks for monitoring this thread and many more man... thanks) rumors shall be defeated!
  2. 20 KB/s :-((((((( How big is the "autoupdate" update? If it's 3 GB I will just download the full package right away... If it's smaller, tell me please. EDIT: Update is about 1 GB big.
  3. A buddy of mine just said that some mission editor bug in WIn8 has been fixed, some "Add Enroute Task" or something. So maybe win8 compatibility is improved?

  8. Hey guys, I put a load of F-15s in the sky and at 30.000 feet they get contrails which screw up performance A LOT. If they fly at 20.000 there are no issues, FPS is fine. I understand having so many airplanes in the air with contrails is not gonna happen in missions that often but still... I remember a patch making contrails a big FPS hog, the only "fix" that came was reducing the contrail's life while the real fix should have been killing whatever made the contrails eat so many FPS in the first place. Tracks included. Just watch them, I do everything for you, camera switching, speeding up time etc. Takes 2 min max to watch each track. poorPerformance.trk goodPerformance.trk

  11. Awwwwh, what? :( You could have said that earlier. So I have 3800 kilobyte down and 250 kiloByte up, is this correct then? I converted the values to BYTES. {ADSL.." Megas NET", 3984500*kBit, 250880*kBit}, But this seems weird. Yesterday I hosted a mission and had my settings at 1900*kBit and I was uploading the mission with over 100KB/s. If 1900 was BYTES it would have been only 1.9 KILOBYTE per second? This does not make sense. I don't get it. This would also mean that LAN would only allow 10kiloByte/s up and download and I have seen much faster speeds. Please provide an example if possible.

  13. Hey guys, if you press the emergency jettison button your weapons will expode for all other clients. This seems to happen only for bombs hung as "singles" on stores. 2 tracks included, "server" is what I saw, "client" is what my mate Quax saw. Both using the most recent DCS World with the most recent DCS A-10 module. Issue visible on track "server" at 340 seconds, on "client" at 330 seconds.   16. That's weird man, when I used 256kbit limit (ADSL 1024 setting) I was sending the mission out with 50KB/s. Now with 1900kbit/s setting I am sending missions out with up to 150KB/s. :-/
  17. ... And another bug found. For other MP clients not the MIDDLE bomb is gone but the most right one (viewed from my 12 o clock)... So yeah, another MP synchronise bug.
  18. The video is short, well moderated and shows the issue straight away. A "big" video looks different. I don't need help with this. I just repord this and would love it to get fixed. There are a bunch of synchronisation issues on the MP side and all I am trying to do here is help YOU get a better product.

  21. So yeah, the problem was due to my mouse rate. It did 1000 updates per second. I put it back to "normal" 125 ticks and things are great now. This is however a software issue with TIR5.
  22. Same here. I played "in the weeds" and the SA11 was tracking me through terrain, also I got missile launch warnings while being masked by terrain for at least 5-10 seconds before missile launch, funny. :-P A LOS script needs to be running when a missile is launched. :-/
  23. No update for me today. :-/ I run the updater once a day and there was an update 1-2 weeks ago... I dont know, maybe you missed that and just got in today?
  24. Thanks c0ff. Funny enough it's already in there! :) Cool! Can you give insight on the differences between "LAN" and "ADSL" modes for DCS? I mean the variables are there for a reason, right? :-/ @Excuador server: I won't be home today till late night. :-/ Can't test. @Server owners: Try putting the server in ADSL mode with the proper connection data. Let's see how that works out.
