  1. Markuscha, how did you get the other repaints? I was wanting to paint mine up, but can't find the right files.
  2. I love flying this bird. It's so easy to fly in formations, and looks awesome too.
  3. I'll be on vacation (finally) tomorrow for about a week. I've actually been off for a week already, but working on these designs have kept me busy. Just a little preview of what I'm working on for the next set. This is still in the early stages, so please keep the rivet counting to a minimum. This design will also coincide with the Super Hornet that Cortex Designs are making. (Same Lot #) F/A-18E
  4. How about we get back onto topic of the different types of cockpit sets folks would like to have, instead of trying to argue who is better than who. Let me end it by saying that the quality of work in my sets will not at all match the quality of anyone else. Why? Because I'm not them. If anyone is interested in buying my sets regardless of what the rivet counters say, to be able to build a home cockpit of your choice without having to build it all yourself, then that's what I'm here for. I'm approaching the halfway point in the legacy hornet designs. It's a daily project even though my wife said I'm "supposed to be on vacation" from my normal job.
  5. I think we all would prefer to have real cockpits. This venture of mine definitely isn't to make money. As Deadman mentioned, for the price I've set, it works out to costing around $40 per panel, roughly. By home cockpit standards, that's pretty cheap even without electronics, and doesn't leave much room for a profit, which isn't what I'm trying to do here. All I'm wanting to do is create multiple aircraft cockpit sets. In order to get more sets designed, some areas won't be perfect, unless you all want each new type to take as long as it does to release a new DCS aircraft. Ok, I think I remember saying I was off to bed somewhere a few hours ago. I better stop rambling! I'm too tired to think!
  6. No worries DM. I sent you a reply in regards to your PM. All's good. It's been a helluva long weekend for me. In fact, I'm off to bed for the next 3 days (plus working on the F-18C in the meantime, hehe).
  7. You are correct in that I would rather send out the first orders with the least amount of issues. That being said, the image I posted is mainly to show which panels are available in the set. The individual images do no fully represent the actual cut panel as some changes have been made. I've been pretty tired working long hours the last few days, so I may not have said it properly earlier. I do appreciate the feedback to make it all resemble a 100% realistic set, but please be aware that this is still a working project and the image is not the end product. Any inquiries about the purchase of the set can be sent to info.fspanel@gmail.com
  8. While I do appreciate your end sentiment DM, what I don't understand is how fast this turned into a nitpick to show everyone the errors, especially from the few that wouldn't buy a cockpit set to begin with. What I am offering is a way for someone to own a full set of panels. As my production and design skills grow, there will be updated versions. This is only the start of my endevour to bring multiple cockpit sets to the community.
  9. Thanks Flim, I hope everyone realizes also that I will be pushing out cockpit sets for many different types of aircraft, not just the one.
  10. Those are fixed already to match better.
  11. These are only the panels and backplates (with button caps where applicable). What you need to consider is the number involved. This is the complete set minus gauge bezels. As a comparison (although apples to oranges since it is being done by 2 different people), viperpanels.com offers the F-16C cockpit. While not a full cockpit panel set, it runs around $1300 for panels and backplates only. My A-10 and other aircraft will also include MFDs and every panel (again, minus gauges). There is also a site for the F/A-18 which runs (panels only) around $2700 roughly. These are just basic comparisons. My price is 1300€ for the A-10C. The F/A-18C will also be somewhere in that area, although I can't say yet. I'm still designing.
  12. Missing Knob backlighting is the main one. They will be added on the final product.
  13. The graphic above is only to show which panels are available in the set.
  14. I do plan on doing an F-16 set, however, that may be a few months until I get it ready.
  15. My fixed price for the A-10C Complete Cockpit Set will be 1300€ (roughly $1670 with current conversion). This covers all panels in the picture above plus the extra few I mentioned. These include the panel and backplate. I will be posting up my website soon, probably after I get the F/A-18C/E done. If you are seriously interested in a set, you can PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
  16. I'm still calculating the final price. Prices will be based in Euros, and conversion rates do change, so any other currency used may and will change the price accordingly. I will be offering free shipping for the first month that my store is open.
  17. A-10C set is finished. I'm working on the F/A-18C right now, but it's 23:30 right now, so I'm off to bed. The Left and right DDI are done, as is the UFC. Tomorrow I'll finish the MIP panels and the Aux panels. I should have the F/A-18C done by Wed., and the E/F done around the end of the week. The UH-1H will be afterwards. Planned list after Huey: Ka-50 MiG-21 MiG-29 F-16C F-15C/E Once I have the first 3 finished, I'll open my shop. Stay Tuned! (Initial photo showing all A-10C panels included in the set. I do plan to include the CMSC, TISL, and Circuit Breaker Panel, although not in the picture.)
  18. Flim, any chance you can tell us where to get a mod like that for the warthog?
  19. A-10 and F/A-18C sets are 50% done being designed. I'll be working on the E version next. I'll announce when they are finished and on my website for sale.
  20. With the way the poll is going, I'll be designing the F-18C and E, then A-10C, followed by the Uh-1H. My goal is to offer all types of cockpit sets. It will take a little time before I will offer a "pre-sale offer for cockpits at a discount price. All pits will include as listed in my first post. I will also offer faceplate sets only, or with all 3 parts, to try and save time/money for those that just want the panels with text. If interested, or if you have questions, you can email me at info.fspanel (at) gmail (dot) com for more information.
  21. Blackshark is planned.
  22. It's also on my to-do list, along with a Fw-190 for the other side.
  23. I can definitely add any other aircraft to the list. The poll only allows 10 options. My current list includes somewhere in the range of 40 different cockpits.
  24. I'm in the process of building cockpits for multiple aircraft for sale. These cockpits would be panels sets only, no electronics. I might work on cockpit modules later on, but with my limited knowledge, I'm going to stick with only panels. Each panel will include: Face Plate, Light Plate, Back Plate. They will be colored as per the aircraft (so if a normal real aircraft has grey instead of black...). All panels will be included including non-sim used panels. Instrument gauge bezels can be included also. If an aircraft has a HUD, the frames will also be included. If the aircraft comes as a single or dual seat, both will be made to allow a choice. I haven't figure out prices yet for sets, but that will come. Cockpits will only be sold as a full set. Special orders for partial panel sets will come later, along with if you would like a specialized general aircraft panel. What I'm looking for from all of you that see this, is a vote of which aircraft out of this list you would be interested in. This will help me decide which sets to start making while building my website. There are a few in the list that are still in the designing phases. Once the website is up, only paypal orders will be taken to ensure the money is safe for both parties. EDIT: I realize that I only listed mainly US aircraft. All aircraft types can be made. I already have in the design stages, the SU-27 and MiG-29. My appologies for leaving these types out of the poll.
