Too bad but in it all I do not have the time to finish my simpit. Therefor I will sell it. price will be half the price of the hardware, the wooden pit with green led´s and the seat is included. Also all my time building the panels. Please have a look in my footer, more actual pics on request. Not all panels are connected yet, around the half is working incl. UDC, CMSP (with Arduinoboard), CDU (with Monitor) and Caution Panel are working great, also some smaller panels like fuelpanel. A box with more switches, potis, etc included. All panels are ready for illumination, a landing gear panel from the US is not build in yes. Mainmonitor and PC are not for sale. All licences are also included. Mir fehlt einfach die Zeit, wenn mir jemand ein unmoralisches Angebot macht trenne ich mich von meinem SimPit. Preislich habe ich mir für die Hardware den halben Neupreis vorgestellt. Das Pit mit Sitz und LED´s gibt es so dabei. Details könnt ihr meinem Footer entnehmen. Es sind noch nicht alle vorhandenen Panels angeschlossen, aber UDC, CMSP (mit Arduinoboard), CDU (mit Monitor) und Caution Panel laufen. Schalter, Knöpfe, etc ist noch eine große Kiste anbei. Um es bezahlbar zu halten verkaufe ich gerne auch ohne PC und Mainmonitor. Die Panele sind alle beleuchtbar, Landing GearPanel ist noch nicht verbaut. Hi there After a longer time I started A-10 and had to download a very big update. After the update I copied the files from BackUp in the correct directories. But now my MFCD´s are on again, before I had them disabled/black due I use a second monitor with Helios. Any solution for me ? I can not find the old thread where I read about hiding MFCD´s. Also the clock export is gone .. all other seems to work fine like month ago.

Salve Ich war schon lange nicht mehr im SimPit, also kräftig Updates gesaugt, BackUp-Files eingespielt und soweit sieht alles ganz gut aus ... jedoch sind im Hauptmonitor nun die MFCD´s wieder eingeblendet, die waren vor dem Update aus und nur auf dem Helios Monitor. Das obwohl ich die BackUp Dateien eingepflegt habe. Kann mir jemand nen Tip geben bevor ich mich durch das ganze Forum arbeiten muss. Gruss Tom

Salve Ein Bekannter hat mir voriges Jahr mal das A-10 Handbuch ausgedruckt, ist ein kpl. Papierkarton voll , dazu ein Ringordner mir dem GUI Manual. Gebe ich ab für 5 Euro Papierpreis plus Porto von 13 Euro (wird sicher für 6,90 Euro zu schwer sein). Gruss Tom

I am also interested, so far I have CMSP export via Arduino, network and this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=100704 The problem is, the software is kind of recognition software reading the values as pixels from an defined area. It has to be learned, and learned ... horrible. No solution. Someone with lua experiences should be able to send the export instead to a monitor to a lcd 2 x 16 or 2 x 20 but it seems, that nobody is interetsted in a solution for cockpit building. :cry: Cheers Tom

Any news ?? I am not so happy with this solution. I flew many times but it always happens that the program find new letters to be learned. Than I have the problem that I can not tab correct to the window with the letter to enter, meanwhile the letter to learn is gone on the A-10 CMSP and I have to guess what it was .. very unlucky. Better than nothing, that for sure but a perfect solution would be to export the CMSP data to the arduino / led display. Nobody else running in this trouble ? Maybe I make something wrong ...

Salve Ich habe gestern Abend mal das alte Helios deinstalliert, neu gebootet und die aktuelle Version installiert. Dann mein "Stammprofil" einmal geöffnet im Editor und abgespeichert. Lief alles auf Anhieb bis auf mein CMSP Display, kann aber sein das ich da mal eine exoport.lua unter USER bearbeitet habe, nicht aber im WORLD Verzeichnis. Das gehe ich heute mal an. Zumindest im Singleplayer läuft alles wie gehabt. Das Problem des ausfadenden Helios-Screen hatte ich nicht. Mit Servos arbeite ich noch nicht und kann daher keine Besserung finden. FPS ohne Rückspiegel auf höchster Einstellung mit einer GTX680 bei 45 fps.

Ja, wir wohnen ländlich, 20 km von Köln. Vor 12 Jahren hingezogen und es gab "schon" 1MBit DSL ... und daran hat sich leider nichts geändert und wird sich auch nicht ändern. LTE Empfang gibt es auch nicht und mit dem SAT Set habe ich zumindest 20 MBit down und 6 MBit Up ... so kann man wenigstens mal ein Tutorial schauen oder ein Update saugen .. das war mit 1 MBit kein Spaß. Leider kostet der SAT-Spaß knappe 80 Euro im Monat , dazu DSL wird mir dann zu heftig auf lange Sicht.

Erschreckend: Ich habe seit ein paar Tagen Internet über Satellit mit gruseligen 650 ms Pingzeiten. Bin ein paar mal auf STP-Servern gewesen und jetzt kommt der Hit: Keine Timeouts bisher. Mit T-DSL 1 MBit/s hatte ich auf diversen Servern timeouts. Das DSL habe ich nur noch ein paar Wochen als backup, dann muss sich zeigen ob ich auch mit meinem Sat-Internet onlöine fliegen kann oder mich im SP Modus amüsieren muss. Beides ist leider zu teuer :cry: Vielleicht liegt es also an etwas anderem ...

Hab ich auch seit dem letzten Patch ! Einmal ins Helios-Start-Dings tabben und beenden und neustarten. Dumm nur, dass dann das Phidgets LED64 nicht mehr läuft .... grummel. Irgendwas ist immer. 9089 ist wohl der Port über den DCS die Werte ausgibt. Export Frequency habe ich halbiert da ich soviel Geraffe dran habe und damit läuft es "smoother". Ich finde es gruselig, dass Helios nur schleppend von Gadroc aktuell gehalten wird und bei jedem neuen Patch irgendwas hakt. Mittlerweile kommen Patches ja im Wochenrhytmus .... spielt man nicht mit bleibt die Serverliste leer. Wir haben es nicht leicht :(

+1 I re-started sims after 15 years with the A-10, build my own simpit and like it. I am not able to attack or use the weapons effectly, but only flying a route in the sunshine, landing, communicatios ... its great to "calm down" after a hard day !

Sorry, yes ... a big mistake. I ordered TFS3 some years ago, 3 weeks later a box from the USA. Connected to USB, installed drivers, load profile: Ready for takeoff. USB port was little damaged and connected not always, mail to the supportteam, 2 weeks later I got a new unit. Works great since them, also with the Shark and FC3. Cheers Tom

RAM is cheap meanwhile ... get an other 8 GB and if some money left a small SSD just for Wion and DCSW for faster loadingtimes.

Married, no kids: Too much hobbys :) Building a simpit, remote controlled helicopters, pinball machines. My wife loves books and is reading much on the couch. So we have a big planner on the desk. If she needs me while building the pit I stop and help her. I am doing many things in the house due we are both working full and my wife is handicapped. We share the homework. BUT ... once a week in autum, winter there is a mark in the calender: "9 p.m. Flying with the guys". She knows that I am for hours in the simpit with cigarettes and a bottle water :) I interrupt flying once, this is for a good night kiss. So in my case ... wife first, all other way back later. My tip for you: Family is number one ! But try to give your wife some time without the kid and also try to get some hours a week for your hobby. Partnetship is to give and get , this works for us for more than 25 years now :thumbup:

I made just one flight after the last update, but I also have issues. I have not checked if there are again any axis going mad. Mostly this occurs while adding or removing a joystick and DCS gives axis which have to be deleted. Tom

In my days in a german fighter bomber wing, the crewchief was the guy who decided if a pilot flys or not. Just drop a pen or somethink while seatening the pilot and his flight is ... gone ;) 2 friends, both good virtual A-10 pilots, have been on Spangdahlem airbase 2 years ago and spoke to the pilots "guarding" the A-10s and fired massive questions .. and many are still unanswered due the pilots didnt know any switch of their aircraft. So pilots are also no gods .... Little more respect, please. :) This guy is not god, but he is a very fine gentleman to offer this lessons. If you dont want, dont join. I am sure that all participiants learned much :thumbup:

Quick question to the friends of good taste and the CMSP panel ... Is there a fix or something for the following issue: If I should down (power off) countermeasurements on the panel, the lower row will stay with the last settings, the upper row shuts down as requested ? Still missing the backlight but will solve it with the phidgets board next week. Also waiting for the black/green displays from the chinaman :thumbup:
