Gratz to this great work !! I have finished my "Lindens UFC" and will start assembling the CDU next. I use 2 of Brydlings IO-cards to get around 500 button connections and a Bodnar board for selectors. How did it work with the little monitor ? Has it a VGA connector ? I have ordered such a fancy china-lcd and it has only video-in .... a nightmare. I just ordered an external USB graphicscard and hopefully get connected it. Could you easily add the monitor to your overall displayarea and export ? Some traps on this way ??? Have fun on the wiring ... I used illuminated buttons which asked each single button for connections to the phidgets board. Nice to see your project !! :thumbup:

For sale is my homemade UFC. Its ready for connecting it to Brydlings I/O board. I run it with helios. The mastercaution has 2 LED to connect to a phidgets board. Green LEDs are for general illumination, dimmable and for 12 Volt usage. The front is juts a sticker over the microswitches. Not perfect but pretty good for the beginning. I payed over 30 Euro for parts, so 30 Euro plus shipping seems to be a fair price.

My whole simpit is with green LEDs generel illuminated and dimmable . The strip will be connected to this. Cheers Tom

UFC build Yihaaa ..... The last 2 days I build my new UFC from Linden. Great, great, great !!! :thumbup: # Soldering the LEDs was a nightmare, but it worked for me. # Secons Step was soldering bridges for the Brydling-Board Connections. I have to use only one plug for the whole UFC, diverted in 2 strings. # Next step was soldering the diodes on the Switches. # Ribbon cable to the diodes on the switches. # Green LEDs 12 Volt from the cockit illumination mounted Test: Connecting the whole unit to the Brydling-IO-Card. It works directly ... many many luck :lol: # Gluing the box together # Mounting the front panel with screws # Gluing the buttons to the switches with Loctite, hopefully it holds Next steps: # Painting or gluing decals # Fixing the ribbon cable with glue # Mointing 3 LEDs for the MasterCaution TESTING .......

I found an other 10 knobs for the landing gear handle. It´s from this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96870&page=4 This is only the knob with the 2 lens caps ! Price is only 20 EURO plus shipping in an envelope. If the 10 sets are sold, that's it. There is no more interest in assembled landibg gears, therefor I will not order leds, aluminium profile, etc and sell the last knobs "as it". 5 knobs for 80 Euro ;)

Thank you for the links ! But the Switches and rotarys are the same I have here. Most Panels are now fitted but on some I have to find smaller potis and rotarys. Next week I will make my sidepanels new and the panelholder cabinet a Little thinner, maybe than will fit the Panels. Right now on some Panels are the Switches to bright to the sides. Today I nearly finished the UFC ... 10 hours soldering but it worked directly incl. all LEDs installed :thumbup: So I am looking Forward for all the Panels, only CDU becomes hard cause the Monitor :cry:

Hi In the Settings I have english as language. In the Editor the wordcorrections is still in german. What to do ? Is this browser based ? People will believe I missed my english lessons due capitals :cry: If the wordchecker "detects" a german word in will become in capital. Thanks !

Amen .... it took me also many hours to figure out how everything will work with Helios. With the nice help of the forums-Folks I am running Helios with my Touchscreen and Panels, using more than 3 joxstickcards. Do yourself a favor and give it a Chance. YES ... it is not plug n Play and I have also sometimes Problems caused by Helios , but in it all it makes flying a simpit really great !! BTW: Looks great what you do !!

Little OT, but: I installed FC3 and just tested it with IVIBE and Helios configured for A-10. Helios not working ... understandable :smilewink: but TFS3 ... wow ... ist real rumbling :thumbup: I guess it reads the datas like for A-10 but due the power and Speed it goes crazy .... Try it ! Or are there real files for the FC3 planes ? And now .. back to Topic !

Danke ! Installiert und gekauft, ist schon was anderes als A-10C fliegen. Leider nicht so liebevoll umgesetzt und so bleibt die A-10 mein Liebling ... aber für einen schnellen Tiefflug mal recht aufregend :thumbup:

Salve ich würde mir gerne FC3 zulegen. Dies erfordert ja eine LockOn Modern Aircombat Version. ich habe irgendwo im Schrank "Lock On Aircombat Simulation" gefunden und installiert .. tut es sogar :thumbup:. Reicht diese Version für FC3 ? Ich möchte nur ungern 40 Dollar für FC3 zahlen um dann fest zu stellen, das es mit meiner LockOn Version nicht läuft :cry: Gruß Tom

Kurze Anmerkung .. ich denke der Server bestimmt im MP ob Helios funzt oder nicht. Ich war die Tage auf 3 Servern bis ich einen hatte auf dem auch Helios lief.

I used ROTABOND 2000 it is an idustrial glue, I draw it up into a syringe. Works fine for me. Next step will become harder .. soldering all the little leds .. And I am still looking for payable switches, the good and cheap ones I found will not fit in the panels ...

I know, I am not really helpfull but I have running Helios TFS3 TARS So it should work also for you. There are many guys with more experience but I would like to let you know That it will work. I have also many many USB devices. Helios will become confused in LAN sessions for any reason But his is an other topic.

Das "anschließen" ist ja mein Problem ... ich habe hier einen 5 und einen 7 Zoll Monitor vom Chinamann. Der kleine Monitor hat Composite und VGA, der Größere nur Composite und deshalb bekomme ich die Dinger nicht an meine GraKa ob der ollen Anschlüße. ich habe mir nun einen Raspberry bestellt, mal schauen ob ich mit dem die Dinger ansteuern kann ...

Sehr geil geworden .. wir hatten ja schonmal Kontakt per mail , wirklich gut und funktionell geworden. Hut ab. Stell das besser mal im int. Teil des Forum vor, ich denke hier interessiert sich niemand ernsthaft für SimPit´s wie Du an den zahlreichen Antworten sehen kannst. :cry: Keep on :thumbup: Ich bin immer noch nicht viel weiter, von 4 Monitoren wieder auf 2 zurück, ein paar Panels mehr die aber noch montiert werden müßen und , natürlich ... zu wenig Zeit.
