Thank you for the overview ! I use already PeterP´s files for mainmonitor and tocuscreen with HELIOS. Will try it ... so the 2 new monitors will be added to main resolution, the displays export will be exported to this monitors .. will see if and how it works. Thanks Tom

Dear David today arrived my monitors from the peoples republic ... hell .. UPS asked for customs fees nearly the ammount I have paid for the 2 screens :( However .... Can you describe how to mount and install the monitors ? The larger one has a vga-plug, the smaller one only video chinch. How to setup the monitor.lua / helios ... or whatever. I am looking forward for the panels. But have no idea how to get the monitors to work. There is also no manual for the monitors .. no idea which voltage they need. Would be nice to read some kind of instructions ... Thanks Tom

Did you also activate the exports ? I setup my 2 screens as "one big screen". Both are 1920 x 1080 = 3840 x 1080 and I exported to This file is from a thread here "monitorsetup for KA-50 and A-10" in one file. Have a look for Peter_P ´s Thread "all about exports".

Search the forums for "Exports" and you have the answer. Search for "helios" and you will find other nice ideas ....

I have on the phidgetsboard my landing gear knob with 3 LEDs connected, no problem. So this little motors should also work. I have a clock with an arduino , but a friend programmed it ... not my thing :cry:

Phidgets LED-Board to get the 5 Volt via USB and helios (or maybe not) to trigger the phidgets port. Just an idea .... ?!

Looks good :thumbup: I am also building my pit for nearly a year now, its just one hobby beside some others ... a good pit will take its time and the most impotant thing is, that its comfortable for you and your usage !

Great ! It is "hot glue" filled in with a kind of a pistol. There is a hugh amount glue inside the handle, therefor it feels a little heavier. The aluminium and the printed knob are under 50 gram. Hilsen til Denmark tilbage !

Thank you ... bvut the problem was solved meantime by using this export.lua But for me not really helpfull due I use also IVIBE and that is not supported by this export, so I have to change between to exports: KA-50 with helios and A-10 with helios and IVIBE. Not comfortable but it works, would be great to use also IVIBE with the shark , but than helios will not work ... its a complicated world :)

Nice to know .. the first arrived. Mounting ... I am sure, one of the guys here will have an great idea. Mine is to drill 2 holes in the shaft, a small shaft and a switch button with a wire. But there are also real mechanics in mind of some guys here .... MTFDarkEagle showed a nice drawing.

I was several times in the 1980th with the German Airforce in GooseBay Canada. Our pilots trained deep flying with Panavia Tornado. This guys were fully concentrated planning the flight and fly !! But meantime, there was a lot of hanging around and wasting time. On bad weather no one could fly, the technicians had work but the pilots just watched tv. So not everything what sound cool is cool on a day to day basic. Therefor I enjoy my sim .. I can fly in sunshine, rain, fog and snow :)

Left to right is fine. If u use helios, helios monitor is the outside right and if u use helios you need aero *ON*. Otherwise ... you do not need it.

@loophole: I tried your export.lua and it is a great idea ! But I use helios and ivibe, therefor I cannot use this file. Would you be willing to have a look on my exports and maybe try to merge a "ka-50 / a-10 / helios / ivibe - export" ?! The monitor.lua works with the export for both. But I have always to swap the export. In A-10 I have ivibe and helios working, for the ka-50 i have only helios working. Cheers Tom

All packages are send out today ! I used not the ordered boxes cause they will not arrive on time, I took what I found :) Please allow some days for delivery, the farest way is to Hongkong .. :) Never thought that I ever send something to HongKong :thumbup: Have fun with the handles, they are all tested before packing that all 3 LEDs are working.
