  3. Without really knowing anything, I'd wait for the DCS:World "Compatibility Patch" (name it as you see fit ;)) for BS2 and WH. I hope it will be not only released soon but also, due to the changes introduced with DCS:World, fix the performance issues so many of us face. But again, I don't know anything, this is just my personal hope... (Dual 5770 XFire setup here, found XFire not being used at all resulting in similar FPS figures :() Plus, I do really like that cockpit interior reflecting on the canopy glass thingy of the Mustang pretty much :)
  6. Too bad, your first description did sound pretty much like 32bit. Hmm. Still strange, apart from 8 GB RAM my rig is setup the same way. Graphics card? Any crashlogs in Saved Games\DCS\logs? Edith: See also Panzertards sticky here.
  7. As it's still in beta, Flight Manual and QuickStart Guider are not yet included with the installer, so you'd have to download them seperately: Flight Manual http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/178850/ QuickStart Guide: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1443005&postcount=1
  8. Running 32bit O/S? In this case check out Nate's sig. (or was it Viper?)
  10. There is a selector valve near your left leg, it's quite large, has some writing on it and some additional red paint ;) Just switch to the fuel tank as see fit. All fuel tanks are "modelled" as in they are empty, eventually, so you might take care of what tank you actually choose. If I understood Wags right, fuel vapor isn't fully modelled, so at the moment it shouldn't matter which tank you choose at cold start. Later, once fuel vapor is fully modelled, you'll better choose the left wing tank as this is the one the fuel vapor is returned to.
  11. Flight Manual p. 31. Edith: Mkay, copy&paste ;) The first value is for Low Blower mode and the second for High Blower. 12. Did you also look back? ;)
  13. You have the Radio Indicator Compass and you could have the Detrola if it would have been implemented. But still, navigation is not fo' whimps in the Mustang ;)
  14. Depends on the terrain, I'd assume. ;)
  15. Den nächsten Patch f. BS/WH abwarten.
  16. The Flight Manual is available in the User Files section at the DCS homepage and there was also a link to the QuickStart Manual in these forums - which I cannot find at the moment, unfortuantely :(
  17. That's your landing gear. Check the Flight Manual, it explains that based on certain conditions (throttle lever position, landing gear state, etc.) a horn sounds to alert the pilot of a potential hazardous situation (too low, too slow and gear not down and locked). There's a horn silencer button on the right of the lower front dash - and I guess there is a reason why it had been implemented ;)
  18. Stang Ride. Interesting to see the time it takes from cold start to taxi and to hear the several sounds :)
  19. Last page shows A-10C graphics.
  20. No Sir, that's exactly the way it is supposed to be ;) The fixed sight mask masks the ring, leaving the cross"hairs" as your only aiming referrence.
  21. Eine schnelle Übersetzung der Developer Note zum Thema Ladedruck:
  22. Built between 1976 and 1981 in 1/5th scale, fully operational. Video link supplied at the bottom of the page. He even built the engine mount! http://www.enginehistory.org/ModelEngines/merlin_xx.shtml
  23. No, there is no "starting frequency" being defined in the lua file. Iinstead, you can set it in the mission editor by editing the corresponding mission. AFAIK there is no single list or table covering all attributes of all lua files, so you will have to browse the files individually. OTOH the more often you do so, the more comfortable you will become (in terms of file names and such).
  24. IIRC BS2 should accept the "plain" BS1 installation without any complaints. Just ensure you started and flew BS1 at least once. EDIT: sniped :P
  25. Oh weren't we meant to do all this just for your entertainment, were we? ;) :megalol: :music_whistling:
