There was a device posted awhile back on a racing sim site called simracingtonight.It played with your brain and made things seem more real somehow.I do not know how it worked but the tester said that it boosted immersion somehow by tricking the brain into thinking what it saw was real.Never heard of it again sadly.

Hey fellas what is the small thing that spins randomly and is situated to the right of the Airforce decal?

I payed $45.00 for DCSA10 and feel its a worthy purchase.Sims IMO are worth even more since they are hobbies rather than video games.For example I purchased the Witcher2 and played it once thru for 20 or so hours.I will most likely never play it again even though its a superb game.But sims on the other hand to me are more yrs long purchases.

Interesting though I have no idea if it will be liked and thank you Olgerd for posting on it.:thumbup:

My A10c game never looks as barren as that pic and I turned down the tree distance to half.

Would have to try the Helios to see if I like that.Main thing for me is to remove the snap back to first option when you reach the last option.And definitely options is important.

Can't wait to see how ED can work the complex prop physics of the flying legends plane.I really enjoy crosswind landings in the A10 and props should add more issues to the mix.just last night I landed this 39mph? crosswind landing 90 deg to runway.Just a beautiful landing where I yawed at the perfect time and banked at the perfect time and flared just perfect.Made my head a bit larger I must say.So I went full throttle and did a touch and go and proceeded to attempt landings with such force and all weird things happening like broken gears and not even landing on runway.I had to end the night on the "you suck as a pilot" note.Should of turned the sim off and walked away when my head was full.:joystick::D

Superb post Crescendo and makes my detailed post seem rather lame.:megalol:It seems to be needed by some as it is implemented right now though so if ED were to implement a fix then make it switchable as mentioned.

The explosions are killer.Would love to see that in DCS.Another thing is gun vibration when firing the GAU.The reticle vibrates at high pitch and looks real kool and would add to firing that legendary weapon.

K,thanks.So tempted to buy BS but find the A10 enough to handle for now.Maybe to support ED since we need em and all.

When I am doing ramp starts I find I get confused with the dials when I press Rmouse and the function springs back to the first of many positions.This makes me have to zoom in to see where the switch is presently at and then mentally think which button to press.I think for rotaries and switches a better way to represent them is to not allow this spring back to first position.This way you can as a player just left click Lmouse a few times to reset the rotary and then Rmouse the required clicks to hit your desired position.Same with switches like the MFD power button that snap back to the first option when pressing Rmouse.I do know that ED made it this way for a reason since some switches function the way I like but most do not.The switches just feel more real when they stop moving and you have to turn them the oppsoite way IMO. :)

Does the A10c have windshield wipers?Dumb question most likely....

I noticed a few things different in patch.The two oil pressure lights blink on start up,the top upper right light works(forgot its function). Some question I have are first why do you not have to squelch the radios on startup as is seen in some ramp start videos?Why doesn't yaw trim reset when you press TO trim button?Why does the IFCC bit test tell you to reset yaw trim and other functions but doesn't give you time to do it?

So I should turn off HDR,K thanks.:( Are we really supposed to hear bullets hitting the ground while in cockpit?I heard you will not even hear large bombs exploding so a 30mm round hit seems strange to me.

There actually is an emergency speed brake retract switch on left side panel.

I have two issues with patch.First is that it gets very dark and then its like daylight again.Seems to be when I look down and the sun gets obscured with canopy.The other issue I have is that when I fire guns I hear the sound and then hear the rounds impacting the ground.Anyone have any idea how to cure these two issues?

Ahhh ok I'll wait to see final product.Would love to do the MFD's but priority is a HOTAS for me first.:doh:

Great tip 26-j39.I agree that the flimsiness of the pro clip and the overall bulkiness makes the stock clip better.And the advice to use pause is GREAT advice which I didn't agree with till I used it last night. And last night I put the zoom default and also "SLOW" zoom-in on my joystick and now doing attacks is so much better.If you put normal zoom in though it snaps right to the limit and will disorient you but if you use the slow zoom-in it works perfectly! :)

I dont know though fellas just using the trackIR like this is perfect for me.I have no problems looking at anything when I force my self to stop moving.But as mentioned I wanna be free when look outside the cockpit and so I am constantly recentering when just flying. VAC elevator video had me rolling!!
