  1. No it is not an excuse. But if anybody find something he means is faulty, he should report it in an appropriate part of the forum in more friendlier manner. There is no need to be offensive... Sorry, I'm a little bit oldschool... :D
  2. Do you know what the word "BETA" means?
  3. It's possible that the mission have been broken by some update, but few months ago I managed to arrive to the medevac on time and saved the soldier. Hint> check the lat/lon coordinates on the screenshot to find the base. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1778897&postcount=28
  4. One more thing... BE PATIENT! ...during your take offs and landings. Don't push her too hard, be smooth with controls. Runways are sufficient maybe even for landing a space shuttle(;)), so there is no need to hurry.
  5. History of IT taught us, that open platforms have been the most succesful ones... :smilewink:
  6. IMHO, this EDGE SDK will be sooner/later available for the whole community. It doesn't make sense to me to offer the SDK only for a limited group of people instead the whole community. It shouldn't be a privilege to use it, it should be ED's interest to make this SDK a tool to make whole DCS World more attractive for as much people as possible...
  7. Artificial G-forces generated by this motion platform are in wrong direction compared to real ones in the same situation. IMHO it can (for example) test your vestibular system and your orientation in space, but it is not useful as motion platform for a military grade flight sim.
  8. Looks cool  But I can see one possible ergonomic issue - the instrument panel seems to me too far from your seat. Can you reach it without leaning forward?
  9. AFAIK this version is not compatible with those navigation systems. You can only use ADF.
  10. Central Europe for some cold war nudging :D
  11. Exciting times ahead
  12. Try different angle
  13. Flying the Huey... just you and the machine :joystick: Flying the Black Shark... you must explain to the autopilot where you want to go :D ...but both are fun to fly, both of them in its personal way
  14. I was using it when I bought A-10C and I was familiarizing with Hotas commands. Now there is no need to use it anymore, when you can use your hotas blindfolded and without any cheatsheet.
  15. [irony mode ON] Uncle Yo-Yo, do you hear that? All those years of hard work, collecting data and programming AFM were only wasting of time... [irony mode OFF] :megalol::helpsmilie::joystick:
  16. You must check "Force Feedback" in Options and invert FFB axis in Options/Controls/Mi-8/FFB Tune. ...or I can highly recomend you using SimFFB utility for all DCS Helo controling, made by "average_pilot", use "search" in this forum.
  17. Hi Skull, glad to hear, that you like our Hip, she's real beauty, isn't she? Here are some more interesting photos of this modernised Mi-171Š (pronounced as "Sh"): http://technet.idnes.cz/foto.aspx?r=tec_reportaze&c=A120925_174647_tec_reportaze_rja http://www.afterburner.cz/fotomodern171/index.html They are pretty new, they were produced by Ulan-Ude factory from 2002.
  18. If I can understand correctly, your aiming reticle is pointing on different spots when you are leaning from left to right? I don't have this problem, take a look at my screenshots...
  19. Can you describe your problem a little more? The reflex sight is fixed and it is aiming down there where the nose of the heli is pointing. Imho it is working as it should...
  20. There is no need to do such decisions. The fault is not at developer's side, but on the side of users who don't understand the meaning of the word "BETA"...
  21. ...will it be modeled? Imho it would be great to have it there binded to the toe brakes. I can think of two solutions... - microswitch as a button you must bind this button the toebrake axis to this button in your pedal's software IF toebrake =/= 0 THEN press button ELSE release button - microswitch as an axis IF toebrake =/= 0 THEN feet are present on the pedals It can also be combined with wheel brakes, for example right toebrake controls this microswitch and left one controls wheel brake.
  22. This behavior is there since the BS2 came out. We can only guess how faulty or realistic is it...
  23. If you move the cyclic control 10% away from the trimmed position, AP will correct your input with its 20% authority back to the trimmed position, so the real input will be 8%. But if you press the trim button, you will disable this correction and the real input jumps to your absolute position of the cyclic control. There is no "20% input vakuum" around the trimmed position as you think. Look at the pic below... :joystick::thumbup: Yep
  24. Because the temperature in the video in post #1 didn't fall below 293, I think that number is absolute temperature in Kelvin scale. 273K ~ 0°C, so if laser temperature is 293 than it has the temperature of the ambient air (20°C)...
