  3. In a word, NO! That was for RAZBAM. Yes you would expect that all the switches and knobs that are clickable or mouseable, if you will, have corresponding keyboard command, but they don't. And in the case of the "Course Knob", you can't even go into the .lua to fix it. Implement CW and CCW keyboard commands for the encoders!!!!! For all the is holy and right with the world please! That was also for RAZBAM.
  4. I flew 90% at night and these NVGs, in VR at least, are not realistic. They lack adjustment. There needs to be a setting for the goggle adjustment fore and aft, and up and down. I never used monocular style, but the binocular style as an aircrew man on CH-46s. In the back we want them up tight. We're looking out for traffic and landing hazards, and generally anything else you need see in the dark for. Up front there are two sets of eyes. and they adjust them for their particular style. What they're comfortable with and what they need them for. I don't want to get detailed about it. Now I do like how the picture gets grainy and pixel sparks as the sky gets darker. That is a very realistic effect. The amplification could be toned down a bit, but not so much as to make them useless. MFDs need to be dimmer. Much dimmer for NVGs. I haven't been able to get Frenchy's NVG mod to work, but the pic on his site look to have a very realistic feel to them. I am a big +1 for NVG love in the near future.
  5. What are the drop parameters Rockeye? I don't see anything in the pocket guide.
  6. Don't use touch controllers. Made my own 4 button controller for the throttle. I assigned the buttons to the mouse functions in UI Layer. Use the Oculus itself as the mouse pointer.
  7. My first trap in the Hornet with Oculus Rift. Awesome. Nearly fell into my desk from the sudden arrest. LOL!!! The Harrier is epic in its own right
  8. How hard would it be to have at the airbase structures, taxiways, parking ramps and runways packaged as a scriptable preset(for lack of a better word)? It could be added and removed by mission maker by use of a simple trigger.
  9. A published list of channels is not a lot to ask. An intern can do it.
  10. Any have this running in VR? Namely Oculus Rift. It won't display at all.
  11. Meant to get back to this earlier, Searchered for TFRPHARudder in the .tmh and commented out all entries. 3 in total. Now I can run my TARGET Script and the pedals show as an independent controller.
  12. Hey, I remember. The A's had keyboard commands for encoders. Clockwise (CW) and Counter Clockwise (CCW). Those were the days.
  13. Should have known him as a Gunny. What a dick. And... I U A U A :drink:

  15. Any chance ED will require CW and CCW keyboard commands for rotary encoders on all modules. This really is a immersion breaker for VR. Having to look at or use a hand controller to turn is cumbersome. I love the CW and CCW commands they implemented. Easy to assign joystick buttons to those commands.
  16. Will we be seeing CW, CCW keyboard assignable commands for this and other rotary encoders in the Harrier? And the M2000 for that matter?
  17. We need CW, CCW commands, for all the functional encoders, assignable in the keyboard settings. Where are we in that process?
  18. Yes! +1 this post. Please CW, CCW hot keys. This is needed.
  19. I have trouble seeing the dials in VR(Oculus). The HSI shows pretty good, but the engine instrumentation is horrible. I have tried everything, but still can't get a good read on the most dials. It seems I had this issue with A10C. A higher res cockpit mod fixed it, but haven,t tried in VR. Hope VR issues like this can be addressed in the future.
  20. Shahriar0, Can you define, in the X-52 profile, the button press as a DX button press? In the TARGET script editor I have that option. I found I was having the same issue, no response for Missile_Uncage command. I couldn't launch either. Must be a conflict, right? I tried assigning Missile_Uncage to "M" , thanks Jenrick, and keeping my Weapon Release command to Alt_SPACE. I can at least launch a missile now. I still don't know if the Missile_Uncage command is working. I don't know what to look for. I get a lockon tone, but I don't know if that's because I pointing right at the target or if the seeker head is in fact "uncaged". More testing! I will be trying my DX button script tonight.
  21. Is this list up to date?
  22. I took the springs off and it returns back to zero on its own. You might have to widen the center dead space a bit to account for sensitivity. I'm no good at helos but I can see where you might want it free flowing. If that makes sense. You could use one foot if you wanted to. It's a light touch
  23. Can you talk about how they work with together with Warthog through TARGET Script Editor? I found that you can't use pedals, brakes (Left and Right), Throttles(Left and Right), JoySick(X and Y axis), MiniStick(rX and rY axis), and Throttle Friction Lever (Slider axis). That adds up to 10 axis and windows DirectX only allows 8. If you use all the available axis on the Warthog (Stick and Throttle), your already at 7. I've tried to exclude the TPR in TARGET, but it will only exclude it from the combined virtual controller. TARGET still captures it and makes it unmappable in game. So far you can't run a TARGET and have available all the axis on the combined controller.
  24. Don't wear socks at the beach. It's bad.
