Thanks for your work & thanks for simplifying the updates with this neat utility. Extra points for that. As for some having issues with no scratch canopy. Humm not sure, I don’t have issues with it. Here you might want to try the version that I’m using from Jan "Escar" Hytryn. Cheers no_scratches_canopy.zip

OT: A new Lomac site on the horizon?
Kindred replied to Kindred's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Thanks guys, I just re worked my header in 3d. Reckon it looks better. It's comming along slowly but surely;) -
Hi guys, A new Lomac site might be in the works. Actually, I’m still not sure about the contents. I’m playing with flash, the site is fresh. I need constructive input on how I would need to proceed. I know in this community there’s a lot of heavy webmasters, reason why I’m asking the best… I need constructive input... I’m still working on how to incorporate flash with my PHP database. "Man", PHP is real new with me… But hey, it’s like LockOn, the learning process is where the fun is. LOL :megalol: It’s not a squadron website, not that I have not considered that option… Just having fun with flash and looking for feedbacks. Bare in mind, the website remains in constructions. I’m having more fun learning about new flash features and such….I needed a new “drug:” until Black Sharks comes out. Flash took the spot, LOL. PS: sorry for my poor grammar. I’m French  so bare with me, lol. www.cyberdukes.com Peace.:pilotfly: Cheers

I would say yes for MAP but for allied forces only. But our opinions don’t count much in here. Dedicated servers has disable map view for years, don’t think they would actually yield to peer pressure with this thread. If you want map view, then just host your own server with map view or externals. Like some mentioned they think that enabling map view actually allows cheats… I beg to differ on that one. Since like some others already mentioned, they are ways to go around this… Reckon map view, external, tower view, ED needs to implement more restriction. Ex: External view only for your own bird, or allied forces. If external is off, then no tower view should be allowed, hence as some mentioned, this is one way some get around the issue. Having external is mainly to enjoy the max beauty of lomac. Having the option of restricting it only to your aircraft would be a great option. Anyhow ON or OFF on MAP makes no big difference for me. OFF true does force one to learn the map in more details, learning is the biggest feature of lockon, but ON would allow more new lockon flyers not to get lost. Enough chitchat, lets Fly, lol

Or kind of think of it. Might not be driver related at all, my initial issue may not be replicable due that i'm using this LOD tweak. http://www.169thpanthers.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15&Itemid=25 That seems more plausible. ;) Makes more sence. Credit goes to Mustang & the 169th for sharing this one, Thanks S! Cheers

rgr Regressing initial statements. Not the same issue... Actually with my present drivers, with clamp or allow, weird, did not make any changes regarding view fading at distance. I did further test today with my present drivers 92.91. To try and re replicate my own observation from few months back. Instead of using the dot/spec in the sky, used the runway lights. Seems fine now... For me to re confirmed my initial issue I would need to roll back drivers, seems it had to be driver related, nvidia or directX. Something I don’t feel like doing, reversing drivers. Present ones seems to be working great so far. Fresh install... Anyhow, good luck. ttyl, back to flying :pilotfly::joystick: Cheers

TrackIR Software 4.1.029 Alpha Release
Kindred replied to TekaTeka's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Added: True View (more natural movement) a real bonus  No problem so far with my trackIr 3 with vector  -
Question for Z800 3dvisors users with Lockon… Are you stratified with it? Was it worth it? I’m kind of skeptical of getting one due to max resolution only being 800x600. Does it allow free head movement, like trackIr does, or do you have to use your mouse to turn your head… Does it support 6Dof? Should I wait for Z1300 to come out? Is there already something, out there that has better resolution then 800x600 in head gear? I already have TrackIr 3 with vector, but I was wondering about that technology. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers

So - Testers, are the new figures animated?
Kindred replied to Weta43's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Thanks but will it reflects on clients? Since it's "possible" then why not make it standard without having to mod it. Mod usually only reflects your on view perspective in game play (like having your own mod skin of your aircraft). Having the trees standardize as possible will allow more flexibility for mission creators. So the host can implement different aspect in landscaping, without asking the clients to install mod's. -

Kindred replied to Weta43's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Will the trees be added in the mission editor in the building section as an object to customize bases & map area? Looking Good ED  Cheers -
Hi ED, Not sure if it was requested before, if so sorry for the double post. Maybe in your future projects you can implement, some type of “External views” option for Allied forces only, like the one you implemented in map view. Thanks & keep up the tremendous work. Cheers

FC crashes when Cloud Density > 8
Kindred replied to britgliderpilot's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I'm pretty impress with 92.91, combined with coolbits 2.0 (to unlock hidden features) with lomac and BF2. They run very smooth  Coolbit 2.0 here; http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=815 -
