So just as title says. Im lookin for a honest opinion about this HOTAS. I have x52 with moded magnets and i stand in between two choices. Get rihno or get rudder pedals. Anyone who has it could U share ur experience with this hotas... Any advices ? Cheers Trooph

It seems that ur joystic "skipped a notch" or one of them magnets is loosing its power and it's causing it to be off center. WHat u can do( ofcourse if u feel strong about it) is to unscrew all the screws in the base of the joystick and check how it looks in there... if everything looks alright (both axis are centered) than try to buy a 10-12mmx2-3mm neodynium magnets and follow this tutorial made by me... It might help with a little cost and effort.. Ofcourse it will void ur warranty so think twice before doing it.

Thats completly true. I know several good FPS players and none of them is using mouse with DPI higher than 1600. Even though some of them are using super ultra DPI gaming mices

7970 and r9 280x are basically the same cards but rebranded. Not much if any FPS gain...

Hi Bucic. For most of my time i used a4tech laser gaming mouses, they were quite good and not that expensive. I bought mine for around 99 PLN, now im using Maurus X optical mouse with dpi up to 3600, never used lower than 1000 and never higher than 1600. Its great mouse but it takes some time to get used to its odd ergonomic build. Overally its not that easy to find a decent mouse for good money. Pozdrawiam T.

Its alright :) performance varies from vendors. MSI and GIGABYTE (REV 2!) are the best imho. I see rare dips below 50. Even on a10c with both MFDS in mav and A-G modes on, most settings maxed out with extreme visibility mod

With good cooling and a bit of luck u will be able to clock it @ 4,8 :) Whats ur mobo? Btw im not AMD owner right now but i was for long long time :) And i dont regret changing to the blue side :P

Its a very good stick for beginers needs :) If You grow to like flight sims You going to need something more sophisticated in about a year or so :)

Not necessarily a shot in a foot nor time wasted to develop dx11 version as this works parallel to dx. Nvidia works better with DCS thats a fact. Adding mantle would rather be a nice gesture towards those guys that chose ATI cards, therefore making whole DCS even performance-wise for both ATI and Nvidia users. TBH is really think that games that force customers to use either Nvidia or Ati is unfair, and Mantle would solve that. Also adding mantle is apparently 2 months work for 1 guy... And I bet 10 euros that mantle will be supported on both Nvidia and ATI. Sorry for OT

Simple answer. Its the best joystick u can get for that price. It uses hall sensors for the stick... Tbh its the only choice if u cant get x 52...:) And i flew on this stick for almost a year before i bought first saitek x52

Just a small tip... BSODS are not always caused by hardware failure. Did u try to do fresh windows install? It also may be caused by some drivers that "dont like each other" or simply by corrupt system files. I know this happens from time to time if u dont keep ur OS clean. I personally had issue like that 6 months ago where my PC suffered from BSODS during gameplay at first and later during system boot up. I literaly had to wipe my OS clean (no recovery disc helped)

Yup...my 965be@4 was bottlenecking my 7850 2gb... No matter which modern GFX u gonna pick up ur CPU will bottleneck it.

Actually, if i remember correctly, Linus said something that implementing Mantle is like 2 months for one person to code in... But dont quote me on this...:) Would be great to have mantle support but probably we wont see it.
