Hmm... Joystick binds will be implemented in next release. I personaly use ACCELA mk2 filter with stock curves but lower reduction factor. For dcs I slide it down to less than 50. Than i work around with curves. I've attached my profile. dcs.rar

Too bad that Freetrack creators were almost sued by Natural point and they had to stop its development. Well.. i said before. Freetrack is 3-4 years outdated. Back in 2010 64 bit systems were not so popular as today and thats causing the problem. Good there is new stuff showing up on the internet. One of them is previously mentioned by me FacetracknoIr with point tracker and newly developed Opentrack which is very similar to FTnoIR but with addition of symethrical axis curves loads of tweaks and a features like when u look left/right to a certain degree it will automatically lean to that side over X axis... And no need of HEADTRACKING.dll for DCS anymore!:) And yeah i had this issue before aswell.. Try puting whole path meaning Drive:\Folder\Folder\DCS World\bin\headtracker\headtracker.dll That fixed it for me

I used to run 965BE @ 4.0 with my old game rig with 7850 2gb edition OCed a bit... But... I noticed that 965 slowed down my card quite a lot. And im not talking only about DCS..after switching to 4670k @4.2 my GPU is used at its full potential and i run DCS at 50-60 fps never less than 35...

IE.... I'll pass on that.. Its the best browser to download better browsers and i used it only once, and it was in case of critical HDD failure where all my data was lost :)

Try downloading openTrack. Its new software from one of FacetrackNoIr devs. It includes all FTNoIr had plus few great features :) Also use Accela filtering with around 50 smoothing. I used HT 1.0 for NoIr headtracking for a bit it works nice but it puts more stress on the CPU. Most of the people here use IR clips, selfbuilt or bought TrackClip Pro from Ebay

After quite a few hours of training I finnaly get better with aiming and flying:) Also my joystic magnet mod helped me a lot in precision. Next goal: Shoot that bastard down under 3 minutes :)

Try searching the internet auctions in your country. Those 4 were like 1.5$ worth of cash. I found mine on an ebay like auction. But You might find them in stores like Radioshack in USA, just try googling that :) Yes it should be as X52 pro is build in a similar way. The only changes i know about X52 pro is the material used and double spring. Interions are the same (except for MFD maybe)

I strongly advise doing this! Ofcourse if your warranty is already void :) Its so much better now :) I was flying whole day yesterday and its just so smooth and nice :)

This mod is increasing joystick responsivenes. It lowers/eliminates the deadzone. Just see the vid. Its for people who dont have much time to fiddle around with more complicated mods. Hope You'll like it. This little thing actually helped me a lot. Im thinking about that more complicated mod (u can find link in the description). T.

Im using LED monitor from Samsung and im very very happy with it. All thou i wish i have bought more than 60mhz. LED screens have a higher angle at which u can see whats being displayed. Contrast and colours are great, cant really see any difference between LCD and LED :)

Yup U are right. It was intentional. NExt graphics I'll buy is Nvidia. But it will take few months before I will do that :) Im not a fanboy of either. But really I saw how simillar priced nvidia performs..and im bit dissapointed with ATI. Even thou its faster on paper its slower in reality. And AA is just fps killer..no matter what game. Nvidia deals with AA much better..

My 2 cents. It all depends on the preferences. Im an ATI user and im somewhat happy with my card. 7850 2gb sligtly OC. Average fps is around 50 with aax4 HDR normal and all setting except water on high. It drops to 35 when both MFDs are on. All with 4670k@4.1 on SATA3 HDD and 8gb 2133 cl11 ram. In games like Battlefield or crysis both, ATI and Nvidia, work well but lots of folks are saying that DCS is actualy more smoother on Nvidia... This guy in my opinion sums everything up.

It normal which each release :) New DCS version= aprox 10fps drop :) Yeah i used to have 60+ no MFDs and 45-50 with both MFDS on...now it just drop itself down to 30 with mustang...no matter what settings :)

I cant use 13.8 at all.. I causes a lot of different graphics issues with my sapphire 7850 2gb. I tried to run it with OC 1000/1300 and without 860/1200. In WoT i get something like white shadows when i point at other tanks. In dcs my frames drop a lot withing a benchmark 25 drops down to 15... In Cliffs of Dover i get all different kind of artifacts on my screen. Reverted back to 13.6/2 and im fine for now. I could not record it as all i got was black screen. I will report that tomorrow to AMD:)

U have nvidia or amd gfx? if amd download radeon pro it has the same feature to set affinity. Priffinity should work with any system as i used it with win7 home premium with success. did u download prifinity beta for win x64? I can send U mine tomorrow after i come home from hospital.

Just set it high or real dont try to set cores manualy. :) Once i tried that and results were not really good...actually they were bad :)

Yup there is. Download prifinity by ed wilk. Simple software that helps with that :) Just add exe/process to favs set desired settings and remember to start this little software with windows :)

I wouldnt go with windows 8... I bought i5 4670k with asrock z87 pro4 mobo and im running it @4.2 with 8gb 2133mhz cl11 ram and sapphire hd 7850 2gb(i will be changing that to nvidia) and i get constant 50 fps with both TGP and MAV on flying above several ground units. that all on W7 ulti x64 Also i get 25-30 fps in benchmark.miz that is flowting around this hardware subforum.

Are U running that CPU on stock clocks? Maybe try oc a bit...up to 3,8 maybe? That should help. Remember that DCs uses only 2 cores only. I had a bit of a problem with my old time rig :) X4 965be at stock clocks was bottleneck for my hd 7850. Now i dip bellow 30 fps just with CBUs expoding and all the DCS fps killers...

Question is what ram u have. RAm shouldnt be an issue here. Faster is better for sure :) Ram in general is compatibile with all DDR3 mobos.

i would say ur joy is screwed coz it might be a dead sensor... if its 2 years old try to fix it ursel :) maybe its a loose cable inside it, that one connecting sesor with a chip or sumfin. A bit of soldering and it still might be as good as new :) Good luck with it thou :)
