  1. :megalol: Good one! MAC
  2. You know, the thing I actually funded with $250 came with the promise to have the DCS World P51D available as digital extra from October 2013. Glad you rather have RRG concentrate on something more important. Thanks for your input. :wallbash: MAC
  3. It's obvious the question was for RRG studios, should they one day want to come knocking on doors for the next funding round. But perhaps they're not planning on doing that ever again, so who needs a good reputation? MAC
  4. Agreed. I get the impression that long overdue backer rewards are viewed as very unimportant. :( Not planning on ever again doing another crowd funding effort? MAC
  5. GT 5.0, please stop hammering on the Sept 14 delivery statement. There's plenty of examples when this is just not applicable because it contradicts reward promises made either in the reward descriptions themselves, in the kickstarter text or would otherwise defy the rules of logic. Phrases such as: - 'Upon successful completion of the Kickstarter' - 'Available October 2013' As one of the $1000 backers pointed out, his reward summary states estimated delivery September 2014, but includes access to weekly team development updates via Skype. Now what good would those development updates be after completion of development? So please, stop. MAC
  6. My impression is that the community is handling their frustration levels rather well and I've yet to come across someone here who doesn't clearly want this project to succeed. That being said I believe ED should pick up the ball and run with it if there are things going on behind the scenes that prevent things from running smoothly, at least temporarily. After all, ED has strongly endorsed the Kickstarter and DCS WWII. But I completely understand that there are situations in life when it's hard to perform as expected, we're all human. MAC
  7. I know you want to help, and please don't take this as offence, but it's clear as day what the problem here is. MAC
  8. One of my many one-way attempts to communicate with RRG over the P51 rewards (by KS mail, PM here, email, forum): And before anyone would like to point out that the reward would only become due in September 2014: Makes me wonder how the weekly Skype team development updates are going for the people who backed $1000 or more. :music_whistling: MAC
  9. One must not assume that every backer is aware of the 'evolution' of the rewards system to what it became in the end. Therefore it's entirely possible that someone went for the $200 reward at a late stage, identifying the $170 reward as the previous one. That's the sequence in which they are listed. But yes, it's a mess. Luthier better clean it up, and soon. MAC
  10. Right, blame the customer. Fact is that Ilya hasn't taken the time to show up here on this forum since 11/01/2013. Others and I have not received P51 keys that were promised for October. Emails, PMs, Kickstarter and this forum's posts left unanswered. He better come up with a damn good product to justify such sloppiness towards his supporters (although if I remember right, the companies coming up with the best products are usually also the best at customer service…). MAC
  11. As if he heard us ;) http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/508681281/dcs-wwii-europe-1944/posts/705623 MAC
  12. Same here. Wanted to gift some DCS World P51 licenses to friends for christmas, was promised to be available from October (as digital extras, $250 matrix tier 7). No replies, no website -> no gifts. Okay, this is not the most important in the scope of the project, and all will be forgiven if the product turns out great. But this aspect of the business MUST definitely be managed better if it should have any chance of succeeding. MAC P.S.: Luthier's last visit on 'his' forum was on 11/01/13...
  13. Merry Christmas from Malta! MAC
  14. The next previous level is the $170 level which includes two copies of the P51 in DCS World (on successful Kickstarter completion). I think you're trying to defend the indefensible. MAC
  15. Can't blame you, I'm annoyed too. MAC
  16. Hi Vierkies, As you've spent $215 on kickstarter, it seems you're not at the Matrix Tier 7 but at the $200 tier (plus $15 shipping). Unlikely anything would have been sent in your direction yet (even if you've asked by email or PM), unless you have such confirmation. If I understood right the only ones who received the DCS World P51 Mustang keys are the tiers where this was explicitly mentioned. But of course, the 'everything at the previous level' statement is somewhat imprecise. Anyway, Luthier has promised to tidy up the rewards and offer everyone to choose what they want in the matrix tier fashion. That will be once his website is up. MAC
  17. From Kickstarter Update #19, Nov 1: I think that's really needed, hopefully he'll find the right person soon. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading Luthier's updates, but to be effective you need a more reliable and regular flow of communication and more professional execution. It makes a whole lot of difference, see positive examples such as Star Citizen or the new IL2. MAC
  18. In my case it's not, the quote is directly from the official DCS WWII Kickstarter page. However I remember the Matrix was first introduced with the paypal option and later also offered on Kickstarter. It was an is a good idea still, however fulfillment is lacking. MAC
  19. No it's not. Maybe some got their rewards entitlements wrong, but anyone who has picked a Matrix tier (lowest starting at $60) is eligible to choosing at least one Extra, and DCS World P51 is one of them (listed as available from October 2013). I doubt anyone with a Matrix tier has had the chance to choose or receive it. See below for reference. MAC ===== However we highly recommend the new Matrix style reward tiers clearly marked as such in the reward descriptions. They allow you the biggest flexibility as to the type of reward you wish to receive. Just select your desired rewards in the matrix below, and select the appropriate pledge amount. The extra rewards are ANY combination of the items listed below: PHYSICAL EXTRAS...DIGITAL EXTRAS...Copy of DCS World: P-51D Mustang (available Oct 2013) ... We will contact you soon after the DCS WWII Kickstarter campaign ends with instructions on how to specify which extras you would like to receive. =====
  20. Thank you for checking on this Yo-Yo! Hopefully this website will become available before Christmas. ;) MAC
  21. Luthier, I've sent you several messages here and on Kickstarter, no replies. You promised the P-51 product keys to become available in October. Would like to use them to increase the userbase of DCS even before DCS WWII arrives by gifting to friends. I'm not panicking but I see a responsiblity on your side to deliver on your promises. Sorry to say but a failure to do so would reflect badly not only on you but also on your partners who backed your project. MAC P.S.: I'm in one of the higher MATRIX tiers.
  22. Sorry to break it to you, but the $40 pledge gives you all initial flyable aircraft in DCS WWII only, when it comes out, but no P-51D copy for DCS World to use now… MAC
  23. Happy Birthday, much joy and happiness!!! :) MAC
  24. Ah, okay (or not so okay). I have one of the higher tiers that lets me choose a number of digital downloads, some I want to keep for the Dora, but others I had planned for the Mustang as Christmas presents. Luthier, hope you're reading. MAC
  25. Nothing there. I've selected a Matrix tier that let's me choose the Extras I want. Luthier said this about it: How do I select my extras? We will contact you soon after the DCS WWII Kickstarter campaign ends with instructions on how to specify which extras you would like to receive. You will be able to specify the extras themselves, as well as any other options, such as a T-Shirt size. We will contact you again before we ship out your physical extras to give you an opportunity to change your mind. Has anyone with a Matrix tier been contacted yet? MAC
