I've managed over the last 2 nights to get a few off consecutively including all 4 on 1 occasion but i have to say its VERY inconsistent? Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't? Pretty damn frustrating and i also discovered last night that i can't seem to slew the Litening TPOD at all either even though i can slew the DMT and the Mavericks ok?? Again, i tested my TM controllers and they are working fine! I watched the You Tube tutorial posted above several times as well as a few others but i'm still not getting consistent foolproof AGM-65 launches. Have tried with all types as well except the training versions of course. ???

Hi, Am i right in thinking that Mk 20 Rockeyes are not yet fully implemented? I notice they can be loaded and dropped but don't seem to burst or detonate sub munitions? Or am i missing something? Can't find any settings in the weapons control system to set Height of Burst etc? Thanks.

SOLVED Solved thanks to aceviper Apparently due to SweetFX dxgi.dll in bin folder. Temporarily remove/delete dxgi.dll (NOT dxgui.dll) for Campaign play. Thanks man!

Correction: Georgian Hammer with and without CA are NOT affected by this bug. Have un-installled, re-installed and checked activation status of all my campaigns but with exception of above none are currently playable?

Every time i try to start a campaign mission, i get: "This mission requires activation" So i use another activation up OR choose continue without activating when it tells me the mission is already activated. Either way, makes no difference, still tells me missions need activating? This bug affects ALL my campaigns? Basic A-10C Flight Advanced A-10C Flight Op Piercing Fury Enemy Within Version 1.5.5 Tried uninstalling and re-installing Enemy Within via Module Manager but this changes nothing. Still get the same message. This has only happened since 1.5.5 as i have played missions from Op PF prior to 1.5.5 update. Something appears to be wrong with your DRM? Would appreciate some help? Thanks.

I'm also having this issue on every mission i try to run in OP Piercing Fury and even happens if i try to open them in Mission Editor too??? Can someone from ED please read this and let us know what the problem is with the DRM? Am on 1.5.5 Thanks.

Also guys as i just discovered the other day if you use the method i described above and assign joystick buttons to the UI Layer in order to left and right click in the VR cockpit. In my case it was left throttle button on my Warthog Throttle and the CMS (Z-Press axis) on my stick for right click. Well if you do this then those 2 buttons (and i assume any others assigned to a command in the UI Layer menu, those buttons will no longer be available in ANY other DCS aircraft. The only way to get them bac k is to clear them from the UI Layer menu and then re-assign them to the other profiles you want to use them with i.e Mirage, Cobra etc. Worth knowing?

Hey Weegie, You solved it but not in the way you probably expected?? I saw it as soon as i read your message! It was the .exe? I had ReShade pointing to Run.exe in my DCS 1.5.5 folder and not DCS.exe! The funny thing is that i did the same thing when setting up VoiceBot for my speech recognition voice commands the other night? Nothing was working because i had it pointed at Run.exe? Anyway, works great now so lots of fiddling with shades and colours etc now!! Many thanks.

Hi, No i don't get the text you're referring to in the top left of the opening screen but i'm pretty certain that the apps themselves have installed ok? I enabled all the effects when i installed ReShade and hitting Scrollockdoesn't seem to have any eefect on anything? A bit puzzled to say the least? Thanks for your response though.

Hi guys, I'm trying to get ReShade 3.0.5 and SweetFX 1.5.23364 working with DCS 1.5 and 2.0? I am a COMPLETE Noob at this so would appreciate a bit of a walk through talk through on how to get it all working? I have installed the 2 apps as per their readme.txt's and everything is in the right folders etc. But when i run DCS 1.5 (not loaded the injectors onto 2.02 yet) nothing whatsoever is different from the standard graphics? Have tried hitting Scrollock etc. but still nothing happens? As i said, am a complete novice on this so any help would be massively appreciated? Many thanks.

What aircraft are you flying VR in my friend? Need to know that really? The guys above have correctly identified the issue with the FC3 and free DCS modules. However if you are flying most of the other titles i.e. A-10C, F-5E, M-2000C, Mig 21, Mig 15, Ka-50 etc etc etc. Then either use your mouse in VR to click anything clickable in the cockpit, just like in non-VR simming? I use a Logitech trackball fixed to my sim chair so i know exactly where it is and it doesn't move around out of reach while in the Occulus. Or, and this is a fairly recent addition to the DCS software build: In the DCS Settings menu, from the main screen that opens when the game loads. (Look for the small white cog wheel icon at top left/centre of screen?) Next to the Module Manager icon. Open Settings > VR Tab (last one on the right). Un-check the box that says Use Mouse. Then click on the Controls tab. Select the aircraft you are flying from the left most drop down menu i.e. A-10C Sim or A-10C Game etc. Then from the drop down menu to the right of the aircraft one select UI Layer. You will then see from the options that you can assign mouse buttons and some other GUI funtions to buttons on your HOTAS? So you can assign a HOTAS button to left and right mouse buttons and mouse wheel if you have a rotary knob on your stick or throttle. Set it up how you want. Then click OK to save changes and exit Settings. Now when you're in the cockpit of the aircraft you just configured there will be a small blue cross-hair the moves with your view point in the Occulus. Just look at the cockpit switch or control and press the button on your HOTAS that you mapped to your mouse functionality? You're good to go!! I've used both methods but actually prefer just using my Trackball even in VR. Happy flying mate!!

Hi, Just bought the M2000C this morning and one of the first things i noticed when getting into the control set up was the surprising lack of many default HOTAS assignments? I think there were just 3? Nosewheel Steering, Trigger and Target Lock. And the normal flight control axes and POV View control of course. I use the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS system and so i wondered if any of you more seasoned M2000C pilots could recommend or share your current tried and tested Warthog Profile? Either in text or graphic format or by posting your HTML scheme from the controls setup menu? Understand that everyone has their own preferences etc. but just hoping i can save a little time and get flying the new jet effectively as soon as possible? Many thanks.

Noticed something interesting with Mav's in VR!! Hi, Has anyone else noticed that in VR (Occulus in my case) there seems to no longer be a need on most occasions to slew the Mav seeker off the target in order to get it to lock onto the target and be able to get a launch cue? This has happened to me numerous times in VR over the first month of having VR. On one occasion i was able to get 3 successive missiles off at a convoy of 4 vehicles without having to slew the reticle at all. When i go back to flying on my monitor i have to slew the reticle off the target to get it to lock again? Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this or anything similar? Or maybe i've been missing something in my previous use of Mav's? Be interested to know?

My 2 cents on a DCS F-15E? By far my most wanted aircraft in DCS, my first ever military flight sim was Microprose F-15E Strike Eagle III in circa 1993 so i have nostalgic connection with this aircraft. Also played the s**t out of Janes F-15 Eagle later in the 90's. Still one of the best sims ever in my humble view. Which brings me to my point about a future DCS F-15E. I would honestly be quite happy with an F-15E with the same functionality of the Janes F-15E albeit with 2016 level graphics and maybe a few more systems implemented than back in the day? A reasonable FM, all weapons implemented and functioning TF radar etc. i'd be happy with that to be honest? As for the front/rear cockpit issues, not a problem in SP as it never was with the 2 earlier versions but i'm sure something could be figured out for MP if there is/was enough interest? Really hope to see this come to fruition one day, hopefully soon!!

Hi fellas, Yeah i'm sure you're right, my mic switch is set up for the A-10C default Voice Attack profile at the moment but i've stopped using VA as it just doesn't respond enough times or accurately enough for my liking. Even after several weeks of persevering with it. So i will re-map the mic switch keys to the default HOTAS buttons on the Warthog throttle and that should do the trick? And yeah, i get the one about the tower being ear candy and nothing more, was just trying to "play the game" by the rules as it were. Appreciate the help guys. Hopefully i can get off the ground now.....sheesh!!! Lol!!

Hi, Feel like a total noob posting this (i'm not by the way!) but i can not seem to get comms with the Kutaisi tower on Mission One "The AO" to initiate start up, tai etc? Never had this problem before and been playing the sim since the Su-27 Flanker/Lock On days. Have read and re-read all manual chapters on comms and radios etc. and have done the same with mission briefings. Have powered up the aircraft and gone through start up sequence to the letter and also used the Auto Start Up cheat to ensure i didn't miss anything. Brief says Kutaisi Tower is on 134.00 MHZ on VHF AM so AN/ARC-186(V) VHF AM Radio. That radio is on 135.00 MHZ by default on mission start so i'm dialling it back to 134, hitting the Load button and then using the comms menu's to call the tower etc. Can't find any reference to the tower freq. being a pre-set channel but i've tried pre-sets as well with no luck? Frequency Mode Dial is on TR and Frequency Selection Dial is MAN. Have tried Easy Communications checked and un-checked in DCS Settings Gameplay. What am i missing guys? Tried the mission 4-5 times but can't get off the apron at the moment?? Lol!! Not seen anyone else on the forum getting this problem so it must be just me? Thanks.
