The small box in the options section named "center position trimmer mode" when "ticked" is the "old method" ?? or "new method"? I know the new is default with latest patch, but, I forget if this was ticked or I ticked it afterward, thanks all.

My trackir 5 is set to smooth = 24 and speed = 0.68 or something, it is 3 clicks less than 1, sorry I am at work. speed 4 is way way too fast, never need to set it above 1 for any game really.

Hi All For those that have playedd awhile and know the map pretty good can you name a few areas on the map that have high mountains with deep valleys with roads fo a mission I would like to make. If you know of some really nice map areas with great locations please name them here for me which will save me time ( I have a newborn so time is limited ), I like scenic areas with valleys and also big cities as well, thanks all.

Hi All I need to change the aspect ratio in my graphics.cfg folder to 1.7 (16.9 ratio) but, each time I exit the game then return later it is back to what it was 1.33??? question: how do I set the folder to remember my setting again without needing to change it each time? do I click the folder (graphics), go to properties and set it to "read only", "hidden" or what? thanks all.

Can this be played in single player by adding wingmen in the editor?

I replaced the "Radio Mayak" music with a nice Red Flag A2A combat radio and it sounds great, but, I was wondering if you can place the particular radio tower that the city of Maykop uses elsewhere on the map in the editor to use instead of only being in the city of Maykop? thanks.

8gigs of ram with winXP does nothing, you are not able to use more than 3.? with XP so the other ram is doing nothing, switch to win7 64bit and be able to use that ram. I believe this will help you immensely. Can I ask were you found ( a link please) the combat radio talk that is in your video "part1 a day in the cockpit" or something like that, it sounded great and would like to put it in my R800 radio frequency.

I got it to work thanks all, it was not the program installation though, it was needing to be deleted more which I did through the start menu.

Hi all I use a sharp 32inch tv for my monitor and the native res is 1920 x 1080p and I can set it in the lockon options ok, but, when I play it still looks just a little odd, like the aspect ratio is off or something, the cockpits look a bit wide angle ish. Anyone know how to fix this, my aspect ratio for this TV res is 16:9 but it almost looks like maybe it is 16:10. Thanks all. Ok I found this, can someone tell me since I am not to computer inclined what number to put in for a 16:9 ratio.....is it just 16.9? Nevermind I got it figured out.

Have not played FC in awhile and I am getting back into it and I remember I had set up on my joystick the ability to move the "radar elevation coverage" in the Eagle independantly of the "target acquisition symbol" but I can't remember how to set that up on my X52, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I like my view closer and it is set at 103, that's the second number. The default is 120 so if you like it further out try 130 and go from there. This my number with the monitor setup number at 0.2 works best for me: viewDy = 0.2;

Hi all I would like to just change a waypoint or two in some missions so it takes me in route mode a new direction, is this info what I am looking for on page 7-73 of the manual under "adding and editing map points (Directly mode)" ? Also can this be done on multiplayer missions when online as well? I just need to be pointed to the correct page in the manual, it can be a bit daunting with the many features for waypoint/route editing pages, thanks all.
