Current missile performances are a WORK IN PROGRESS. I doub't it, they just went out of their way to make a 6dof Su-27 cockpit and are giving TWS to the MiG-29S... Just what the US flyers and market wanted! You were right!

Since all this new stuff is heading to FC3, and the release date is obviously way off and won't be given to anyone these forums; is there some way we could see WIP 6dof cockpits in the near future? even if they're very WIP?

I don't think they need a nerf. I fly F-15C's bro. I'm just tired of hearing all the whining about the freaking thing. Eventually the whining will make the missile get nerfed.

They are. reread Vipers most recent post in this thread. You can also look at the patch notes for 1.2.3. Here's one from the change logs for 1.2.3: AIM-120 data adjusted. Lift and drag. Most likely a nerf.

You compared a highly upgraded Su-27 (the Su-35) vs an early F-15C...? You do realize the remaining F-15's are getting AESA's?

Never said you guys did bad. I heard you guys are amazing pilots. But do you really want it that easy? To where you can just shoot ER's well out of reach of the AIM-120's? The F-15 would then have no advantage in any kind of fight.. WVR it's already pretty much a loser compared to the Su-27. Look, i agree man. the ER is slacking on range by a big amount. What i can't agree on with you is this huge advantage right now. my AIM-120's miss all the time, and i don't see them magically guide to the target outside of active range.

All you've talked about is how inferior the F-15 is to the Su-27. All you've done this whole thread is complain about how overpowered the AIM-120 and the F-15 is compared to real life.. and some how people are giving you reputation over such opinions.... You go on about how we would get smashed if the Su-27SM+ was in the game. And people have told you numerous times; that the F-15 is missing way more than it's fair share of upgrades too. I hope they take away the AIM-120C and 'nerf' the AIM-120B, that way, you can go on your 51st server, and shoot down people with your ER's all day, while the F-15s try desperately to get in range to fire their missiles. Is that how you want it? Would you be happy then?

I've just seen people calling LM a bunch of money huggers with the current F-35 situation and the past F-22 situation... Not sure where you've got this idea someone said they're revolutionary... Usually alot of hate on LM as of late. But on a serious note noone is calling Sukhoi "dumb".. They're good at making aircraft. People say LM is just as dumb, but they aren't either.

Finally get something as huge as a 6dof 3d cockpit and people are still complaining about such dumb stuff as this! :music_whistling:

Congrats to the Russian pilots. Just i said in my earlier posts. They would eventually get to the Russian side, and people shouldn't have been so doubtful! Since MiG-29 gets TWS, does this mean i finally can get my AIM-120D? :megalol:

The A-10 is well worth the buy, the favorite out of all my DCS products. You should really give it a try!

Debated? by who? People that seemingly don't like the fighter? (which is alot by the way). We can sit here and argue all day. Look at the B-2 costs.. they require fricking special hangers.. and there's only 20+ of them. Yet, they still have flown in numerous missions... Syria, Bosnia... Gulf war 1 & 2. GG is right, if the mission doesn't call for the damn aircraft, why would you use it?

AIM-120 data changes in the next patch. All your whining may have been for the better. We'll soon fine out exactly what data was changed. I suspect a nerf most likely with all the current whinging over the supposed godlike AIM-120.

What i think he's trying to say, even if they get the correct information about the aircraft, releasing such stuff to the public is still bad, because they can be put in jail for it.

What upgraded 'F-15C'? You mean the one missing an AIM-9X upgrade, JHMCS upgrade, the AIM-120D introduction; and a new AESA?. All of these things are in ACTIVE SERVICE. While the R-77 in RuAF inventory is very low to non-existent.. (yet some how that's allowed in the game....). You are focusing too much on this 'biased' thing. I'm sure the ER will be properly fixed. You make it seem like everyone is out to prove Russian technology wrong, when it's not the case. How come you have no problem with the F-15 getting manhandled in WVR and haven't yet to mention this. The F-15 is suppose to excel at BVR. Do i complain when a MiG-29 and Su-27 smashes me in a WVR duel...? Not at all. That's how it is in real life. You are giving no credit to the US BVR doctrine, tactics or technology put forth by them.

A little more range? It all depends on what version that's in the game, the C5 and up is supposed to have a much larger range than the earlier AIM-120C's. The problem is, this stuff is all classified. I'm sure the Russian stuff is even harder to find too. And for the record, people saying it's porked on purpose. I highly doub't that, I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. Especially with every Russian flyer up in rise. You'll soon be outranging us, yet again.

Good guys? Lol, the USA was considered 'good' once. Wait until they try and influence some near by neighbors in the near future. That'll be fun to see. If you meant as in stronger.. I don't see how. This carrier wasn't even really built from the ground up by them. It takes a long time to also build carriers. To compete with the US they would have to build them twice as fast. And they're already 10 behind at the moment. Bit curious to see how Japan feels about this whole situation.

Not a surprise at all, was just curious. Alot of people believe a 2nd F-117 was damaged, and was able to return to base. Some also believe a B-2 was damaged heavily and crashed landed somehow (not sure) and was repaired without anyone noticing.

Almost positive those are of clean configurations. Also, i'm almost positive the 0.05 quote was from Sukhoi, believe it or not. I forget where i read that. Could be wrong.

Was never advertised officially as 'invisible', and if anyone has ever said that in the aviation community, then they need to rethink a new hobby/job. Stealth only decreases effective range of systems. That's why the USSR feared the B-2, it allowed the radar nets that overlapped and covered all the airspace to decrease the range of said radar systems into little holes that these aircraft could slip through. That's what needs to be said here. Noone is claiming stealth is some magical fairy dust. Just like everything else, stealth has strengths and weaknesses, to which they can be exploited. While i won't get into too much detail. the F-117 shootdown was impressive, but not THAT impressive as everyone claims. By the way, are you one of those who believe a B-2 was hit and somehow repaired without anyone knowing? Curious.

Too hard to tell with current prototypes. We don't even know how effective their RAM coatings are, and even if they're gonna add such a thing. RAM coatings weren't added until very later versions for both the F-35/F-22. I've seen alot of RCS figures for the PAK-Fa, all from 0.05, to the apparent F-22 RCS of 0.0001. Time will tell.
