  2. Great video Ralfi. I hope you had tons of fun!
  3. I think you're correct. I remember reading about that causing the B-2 crash too. It's crazy how a little thing such as water vapor in the wrong place caused the B-2 to crash. Then again, that thing basically needs a computer to fly.
  4. Sounds like the USAF got the aircraft they were seeking. The problem with the JSF was it was suppose to have 750+ raptors to back them up. With little more than 150 raptors, the JSF has to fill in the air superiority role that raptors were suppose to do. In my honest opinion, if the F-35 fails, i don't really blame anybody except someone trying to make 3 aircraft in 1, and a jack of all trade aircraft... which is a master of nothing. Correct me if i'm wrong Macros, but wasn't the Tiffy made as a pure air superiority aircraft, and then later changed to the ability of dropping AG weapons later in it's career (just like the F-22)?
  5. Spinning of what? Saying the USA didn't fold because a stealth aircraft was shotdown..? I'm pretty sure most of us by now know that every stealth aircraft is detectable... at a certain range, even if it's by a small amount and a big amount. Noone claimed it invincible. Only the other side did to make their success even more successful in the media. Stealth aircraft is really an easy concept, it was designed to slip in 'radar nets' by lowering the overall range these radar nets, if you place it in the path of the aircraft, of course the stealth aircraft was detected. Zoltán knew the routes and exploited it. There was also zero offensive jamming support in the air to help the F-117's that night... luck was also on his side. Obviously the job of the HARM worked. Zoltán said he only turned on his radar for few seconds at a time, and guess what made him think twice about keeping it on...?
  6. This biased card is getting really old. Funny how noone mentions how superior and 'biased' the Sukhois and MiG's are in WVR vs the F-15.
  7. My question to you is: why are both China and Russia building stealth aircraft if both these so called 'stealth detecting' radars and IRST's could do the job for them? Why waste millions more on designing a stealthy platform when you can just apparently slap on a IRST and AESA radar and easily beat the F-22...?
  8. And you're a huge Typhoon fanboy.
  9. Well said. Pity people won't even bother reading this and will just keep complaining about the AIM-120 'amazing' performance ingame because they read about it's 'realistic' combat performance.
  10. It looks like they officially closed the annual Joint Andrews Airshow this year. So i honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Blue angels were next. I never did see this coming, i've been going to Andrews Airshows for 13+ years now. I'm greatly disappointed. Looks like i may have to stay overnight in Virginia to see Oceana Airshows now.
  11. Teknetinium is STILL going on, i see.
  12. Didn't you hear? The Typhoon is a 6th generation fighter. Why would the great European fighter waste time on stealth technologys? It's useless. The Americans, Chinese and Russians have it all wrong with their worthless, flashy stealth prototypes/aircraft.
  13. It's obvious from most of macros post from past and present that he doesn't like the F-35 (or any stealth aircraft for that matter), so arguing basically gets no where. I'd wait until atleast IOC of the F-35 to see how it turns out, as of right now... it's not even worth comparing to fighters that are in active service.
  14. I never said they were invincible shields. I just thought they did something... but they don't. I just felt like a fool. :D I think they did something in Falcon 4.0.. decreased overall launch range of SAM's and made them easier to spoof. But i understand why they don't work.. these things are highly classified; and when i say that, i mean the upmost classified. There's basically no information on any jamming pods... how they work, what they do to radars.. etc.
  15. That's a bit disappointing that jammers do not work.
  16. Exactly. People sit here and talk about AMRAAM PK in other wars when they don't know the exact circumstances.
  17. Their engines aren't matured enough to be put on single engined aircraft. They still rely heavily on Russian engines.
  18. Ah yes. How could one forget about the godly IRST. The apparent stealth killer.
  19. The R-27 has a 'bad' background if you wanna include any kind of history. Atleast the R-73 stepped up and has proven itself a great missile. Don't even start with this crap in a missile discussion thread. I'm sure the Russian missiles all have such better combat records... right?
  20. Yeah, so many jets never had any problems with them. The F-22 is the only plane that has problems. </sarcasm off>
  21. I'm surprised noone noticed the new(?) fire effects from missiles.. No more awkward looking AFM missiles like that Su-27/R-27 screenshot? :D Also, i love how Russian pilots said ED didn't care about them... and yet they get a Su-27SM!
  22. ^^ is that KH-22's under the T-22M's wings? I thought RuAF retired those? Old pic?
  23. And guess what took those contracts away? The F-35 program. You should read some of his stuff on the f-35. It's pretty hilarious. Su-27 classes with their godmode IRST's would make shortwork of the F-35, but he fails to mention the F-35 has it's own IRST. He only talks about the weaknesses of the F-35, with none of it's strengths. Very biased site if i ever saw one.
  24. Yeah right, thanks for the good laugh there.
