  1. And you're only getting started ;) Good job, Don!
  2. A lot... :music_whistling:
  3. For those of you who spot errors and typos, feel free to send me a PM or post it on this thread so I can make necessary corrections. I'm not perfect and on 80+ pages some mistakes are bound to slip through the cracks. I just published a small revision based on Azrayen's and other users' comments.
  4. To each his own I guess. That's why the official manual is there ;)
  5. What do you mean by "instable"? I knew about the standby switch but I decided to "tweak" my autopilot operation tutorial in order to be more practical for a user. For instance, this autopilot standby switch system takes into account that the hand will physically press that switch the second the pilot grabs the stick (so he doesn't have to "think" to hold it or not). In our case, we don't have a Mirage stick and there is no switch that we can hold all the time without it becoming annoying at some point.
  6. I just pressed the Weapon Release switch successively. It's one bomb drop per button press.
  7. Well FREIN means that your wheel brakes are on. So you might have your toe brake axes reversed in the Control Options. The CROSS light would be for hydraulic crossfeed failure. Is your emergency hydraulic switch ON? On the screenshot you posted your landing gear lights (green) are OFF. In order to troubleshoot your problem we'd need to see exactly what you are doing (basically how you start the airplane). You probably forgot something.
  8. Is your landing gear retracted? The landing gear lever is not animated btw (RAZBAM said that they are working on it).
  9. You're correct. Without thinking, I took the notes I had from Wags' tutorial way back in the days... I forgot to update it. Fixed. Well they're wrong. Check page 84/131 of the real Dassault Mirage manual http://www.avialogs.com/en/aircraft/france/dassault/mirage2000/manuel-pilote-mirage-2000-c.html . The switch UP position is to test. It has nothing to do with landing as far as I know.
  10. Chuck's guide to the DCS Mirage 2000C https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/m-2000c/ Enjoy!
  11. Mirage 2000C guide now available in first post. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3WnVhcm5hTUJOTjg/view?usp=sharing
  12. Check this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765 This pdf file https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3NVJwVjhQZG0xZ2M/view?usp=sharing Check page 48
  13. "Game Balance" should never prevail over realism IMHO.
  14. Does anyone have an idea how this switch works and what C/C and PTF stand for?
  15. Canopy handle is not animated or clickable Parachute deploy handle is not animated on clickable
  16. On right panel (next to INU/INS panel), the audio alert switch is not functional. We should be able to toggle sound alerts off without having to click the master arm button to get rid of the Battery ON aural warning.
  17. After rearming, chaff and flares numbers are messed up.
  18. It's coming... patience.
  19. Try landing with the FWB emergency mode and see the difference. The Mirage lands with nose-up usually, as shown in this video [ame] [/ame]
  20. Yep, a big thank you!
  21. While we're waiting... Here's some awesome footage of Mirage III from the TV series Tanguy et Laverdure... from 1967! [ame] [/ame] That footage is really old and features the ancestor of the Mirage 2000, the Mirage III. It's quite interesting to see a TV series showcasing such beautiful planes on a military base. You can see from 5:35 footage of the Mirage, how french pilots put on their special suits ("scaphandre") for flights over 50,000 ft. From 13:10 we also see the early 60's french radar rooms. There is also a cool scene where they show a Mirage landing on the anti-crash.
  22. Many thanks once again. FYI I found out that CCLT stands for "calcul continu de la ligne de traceurs" (continuous computation of tracer line).
  23. It should be released for both 1.5 and 2.0.
