  1. There are combat, cessna and standard pro flight pedals. I have cessna ones, and they cannot be removed, the same goes for all of them as far as I am aware! Unless you mod them completely with new pedals...
  2. Do you mean the extensions which are placed in front of the pedals.. I have circled them here. These can be removed and placed front or back.. EDIT Sorry did you mean the pro flight pedals? There are also the combat and cessna versions. If so, sorry I am sure they cannot be removed... Someone with more knowledge will be able to be 100% sure though.
  3. I want this in my garage :)
  4. I use the cessna pro flight pedals mate.. Again the same internals as far as I am aware. I also use the foot extension while flying the rotor craft and the full pedal while on the ground for fixed wing, changing to the foot extension while flying if needed. If you look at the bottom of the pedal, you will see the heel placement area, this is what I am pushing with the the very bottom of my toes and the start of my ball of my foot. The rest of my foot is placed on the extension which is placed directly in front and slides into fixing holes. Any more questions fire away.. Works without the software, in fact I was advised not to use the software to programme them.. Link to mine. http://www.flightstore.co.uk/flight-simulation-c499/flight-simulation-pedals-c502
  5. Hi Mate I use this, well I did use it until it stopped working with my card :( http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm MSI Afterburner, within the settings there is a video capture tab. You can configure a key or multiple keys to start/stop the video capture, also configure the folder within your PC that the video will be stored within. I had my capture settings at MJPG Compression for codec used, 80% quality, Frame Size (Full Frame), Framerate 25fps, framelimit disabled. I set my start / stop recording button to scroll lock. The video will then be recorded to what ever folder you specified with the title DCS_Date_time.avi. Depending on the size of the upload I might convert it from 1080p to 720p to save my upload time to youtube. You can use windows movie maker to do that, I use premier pro for video editing. Hope that helps. Please ask away if you don't understand anything, apparently I'm hopeless at instructions ;) EDIT What you can do, is watch the track back and use your F2 and F3 buttons for different mouse movement views and flybys while recording.
  6. Flyer Any chance of making a video of a combat approach please? I have tried it on numerous occasions, but still cannot get it nailed down, for some reason my tail dips hard, even when I am concentrating on it not too. Thanks
  7. The sling load graphics/skins are already in the huey texture zip file. The skin looks exactly like what it is carrying in those pics. Hmmm, interesting, could it already be in, and just needs switched on? Anyone up to speed with LUA files? :)
  8. It's basically your throttle, which is the twist grip on the collective.
  9. Absolutely fed up with people not being able to read!
  10. Glider Do you have a link for the back panel lighting within the UK or EU?
  11. I knew that picture was in this thread and I couldn't find it :) Lacking serious search fu :(
  12. It was just a quick throw together mate with some spare switches I had lying around, mainly to see how it looked!
  13. Placed one red LED behind them using a 5V battery, thinking 2 or 3 would be perfect. But the lighting on the wording worked perfectly!
  14. Started the panels off that I got delivered today from Glider!
  15. The workaround did not make any difference to my experience, because my auto updater worked properly the first time! What I have clarified is that by downloading and installing after deleting the module via the module manager does indeed give you the easier flight model. Basically I wanted to verify that the module was installing properly as some people still seem to have a hard job landing! As I stated before, I purchased the huey when it had the very easy to enter VRS, so I can recognise the difference!
  16. Absolutely no change to my version. My auto update worked ok and I can confirm that the module on the site does indeed have the harder to enter VRS AFM. I was commenting on how easy it was to enter VRS before the last patch, which some people might be still running if the auto updater isn't working for them properly!. Cheers
  17. I'm just about to unistall the module and reinstall with the latest downloaded version from the site! I was one of the buyers before the flight model was changed to an easier landing version, ie harder to enter VRS and the heli doesn't blow up when it just looked at the ground! Will update asap. Cheers Ok did the above, an absolutely no change for me, so I guess my auto update patch worked the first time. Still a hell of a lot easier than it was before :)
  18. Swapped to fraps, think it was a driver AB conflict! Fraps aint as bad I as remember! :)
  19. £540 if you are in th eUK or have to pay VAT on it! Well out of my league I am afraid :(
  20. You certainly have ;) Sorry misunderstanding after not reading previous posts :) Where did you get the kit from mate?
  21. Map the slider as the "Corrector" which is basically the throttle. Use your full throttle as collective, if you go into tune axis when you click on it in options, you can invert the throttle if needed, so the collective travels the same direction on screen as your throttle in real life.
  22. Glider Replied to your PM. Can I ask you where you get your switched from, as they look a lot nicer than the ones I have bought so far! Thanks
  23. Crtl-c will enable mouse use after you disable trackir.
  24. As far as we are aware, a slick version and the cargo hook will both be working in the final release!
  25. I super glued my trackir 5 joints as soon as I got it into the correct position for myself! Doesn't move, hence wont break, well probably will knowing trackir!
