  3. Guys Can you try with the option to turn TrackIr off within the special controls, just like myself and I assume Livebait has... Looking at the special options as I said in OP it has an option now to disable trackir aiming.. Thanks for trying everyone..

  5. Hey Guys Can someone with TrackIR please try this out foe me.. I have disabled the trackir gun option thingy in the special tab of the controls menu. What I assumed it would do is when I swapped to Side gunners or Co-Pilot, it would allow me to use my mouse to control these. While trying it I got no response from anything while switched, turned the mouse control on, LCtrl - C I am sure, the yellow crosshair did appear on screen, but I wasn't able to move the side guns etc.. Could someone try for me please before I report the bug. Many Thanks

  8. Ah man... I had a couple of videos uploading, showing him what not to do, and one where it was what to do!! But after reading that, I guess they are all not what to do :) Flyer, can you answer a quick question please. I ahev got into the habit of using force trim when landing. When I am lowering the collective slightly, I am pulling back every so slightly as well on the cyclic to maintain level flight or under the 300ft VSI, I continue the same motions until I Have basically landed. The only exception is that I stop using force trim, when I feel I have the cyclic / trim in enough of a pitch up to maintain the landing slope. Obviously small movements on the cyclic to keep it in place. Is this something you would recommend, or would you fly in with no force trim, the cyclic in a neutral position using your feel to land? Thanks
  9. I had the off centre target for the pilot, turned off the new trackir setting in the special section I am sure it is and it was centred the next restart. At work and cannot remember the exact name of it sorry.

  11. Working for me fine mate! Just added the file into the texture zip file as normal. Pain in the back side having to do all these mods again :)

  13. Strange I had already tried that Peter and I was getting game crashes.. Hmm, maybe it was because I wasn't using a standard skin? Strange...
  14. Oh, you noticed that as well, the skinner has messed up the blades I am afraid. It happened with myself once, cannot remember how I fixed them though. Looking at the top picture again, somehow he has the blades turned around, you can see numerous grooves which are supposed to be at the connecting area to the rotor mechanics.
  15. The "seat of the pants" simulation we shall call it, is when we have the excessive cockpit vibration when transferring through ETL, all the Huey pilots on here have said it is nothing like that, but because we cannot feel what the heli is doing, they decided to give us that!
  16. That's right Andi. What seems to be the issue? You need to open up the mission editor and select the skin from there.
  17. The obvious problem being is that the sling load is directly below the helo.. From my point of view, if you extend the head movement so that it does enable us to lean out past the doors threshold, that would be a starting point. Would also maybe mitigate the need for some form of hover indicator. Opening the doors to do this to begin with wouldn't be that bad, but I suppose the purists of us, would want the bubble window to complete the problem.. Hopefully whatever you guys come up, will be good enough.. Great job so far.. :)

  20. Missed the part out where you have to keep the skinned uh1_int.tga.dds file in your working skn folder. The lines in the description.lua are basically calling those parts of that file it seems..

Couple of tips for skinning internally so it shows when you look at it from outside.] The main skin we use for that is.. uh1_int.tga.dds Which is originally found in DCS World / Bazaar/ Textures/ UH1 zip file? Now to skin the passenger back area use {"ab212_int_white", 0, name_of_file", false} For the front area, ie cockpit use. {"ab212_int_panel", 0, "name_of_file", false}; Obviously use the files uh1_panel_c_gray.bmp.dds or The other panel dds file as your template for the inside view. Hope that makes sense.

  23. Ok Trying to hover steadily at around 30 to 40 feet. So bloody difficult to keep it exactly steady, I would say I was floating slowly to around 10 to 15 feet out. Hopefully, with a bit more practice I can get it a bit more tight.. Funny though, that within 4 or 5 feet of ground level, I can keep her still as anything! The collective dip at the end was intentional :)
  24. Happened to my BS2 which I bought in the summer sale.. Can still fly in single player... All my other module keys are there in the manager and in my account here.. I am sure someone said that holding down shift while starting the game starts the activation process again and you can enter your key there, never works for me though :(..

Replace the textures with 0 in their line for the tail, main body, covers etc.. Hopefully that should fix it. Obviously true at the end means you are calling the texture from the main texture path and false means you have the texture within the folder your description.lua file resides.
