Gezahu, although I totally agree with your point that this ASP-radar issue must be adressed ASAP, the personal insults you're casting around do you no good. Let me correct a little Gezahu's last post: "текущая дальность" - current distance Cobra, I believe some explanation is in order concerning this line from page 132 of the manual "When in automatic mode, the ASP will draw the pipper according to either Sapphire data (if the airborne/ground target is radar-locked), or pre-set distance, target size and angular corrections that enable optimal use of ASP sight". Or you could ask Novak to leave some comment on the way airborne gun targetting works and how the radar takes part in the process.

Yeah, I remember that radar limitation. So I was wondering why no additional equipment similar to Saber's radio range measuring whatever-it-was was installed to allow for precise aiming within 500 m.

That not quite what I'm asking. I suppose it didn't have such (withing 500 m.) measuring capabilities IRL. Why was that allowed?
