I don't really think copyright would be an issue for VKB. As long as Russia isn't a member of EU it's perfectly fine to "infringe" whatever might be neccessary for production of FFB joysticks. No one would be able to prosecute them here. Just like in China. All the copyrighters might try to do is restrict the import of their producs.

I havent tested it multiplayer yet, but in the 1st joy-ride mission of the campaign the game crashes when I try to dial up RAPIDLY the desired PRMG channel. It occures somewhere at 17-th channel.

They are just for decoration. No plans for FFB in this model. Info from the russian forum. FFB feature is useless anyway, IMHO.

What's so speculative about it? All the radar-ASP features in question have been clarified here with the relevant pieces of documentation.

I suppose this unit uses data from barometric altimeter. Therefore it requires some adjustment depending on the elevation of region of operation. Where could such correction be made I wonder? I see no rotaries near the altimeter gauge in the cockpit...

Конкретного описания работы режима "луч" у меня нет. Но т.к. в инструкции говорится активировать его для стрельбы пушкой и нарами по наземным целям, то можно предположить, что он требуется для измерения расстояния до цели или для сигнализации открытия огня/вывода из атаки. Или для того и другого.

What are those "slant range unit" and "external-base optical range-finder" that I come across every so often reading the manual for MiG-21bis? Where are they placed? How do they work? What do they look like?

Лучше выложите фотографии. А то не понятно. Какую панель не видно? На каком из 3-х мониторов? На каком из них вылезают искажения?

Sarmatt, всё. Нашёл это в английском варианте летного руководства. Всё достаточно точно переведено с русского. Правда от самого русского руководства у меня только 85 первых страниц. Но теперь это не проблема.

Это уже известно и лежит в английской баговетке. Статус темы "evaluating", значит пока допиливают АСП. Однако порядок проверки прицела хотелось бы именно из документации по бису, а не по УМ например. Т.к. В них какие-то разные модификации АСП. При этом нужен скан самого дока или страницы с инфой.
