I think you have the option in 'LOADOUT' to decide, which skin you want to use.

Well thanks to one of the members on here, I know own an X52 Pro and I love it. Brilliant price and a nice guy who sold it to me.

I have tried but with no luck to sort skins out...... Are any of you good at making custom skins? I would like this making.....

If I recall rightly, this has not got too much to do with weight, yeah a couple of hundred litres of lead based paint would add weight to the Mustang but this is more to do with aerodynamics and the orange peel effect in some older paints, which caused irregularities in airflow over the surfaces. For a long time it was a known fact that certain super-car manufacturers painted their cars with the same paint used on fast jets to minimise the chances of the normal paint causing a similar effect on speed and air flow.

You can actually make him move about when he lands. I walked around the airbase the other day.

I tried opening the Bare metal skin and messing with it in GIMP 2.8 but the template was getting to 124Mb before I'd even done half of the nose. Then I couldn't figure out how to swap the bit that I'd painted for the original because it said something about an .xcf file..... could do with a tutorial posting on how to change certain parts of aircraft texture/skin/colour etc.... I could manage to paint planes in IL2 but this leaves me stuck.

Norton deleted it for me but it wasn't gone altogether. Go into your Norton History and it should be in there. Then just restore it. Hope this helps.

How do we find/edit the skins? Or can they only be modded in full game?
