  1. “Schaltstellungen” means switch positions. The other lines are hard to read. Maybe a native speaker can recognize it? My guess: Rumpfbombe zuerst Rumpfbombe mitte Rumpfbombe zuletzt Looks right. See here, page 15: http://www.deutscheluftwaffe.com/archiv/Dokumente/ABC/a/Arado/Bedienungskarte%20Arado%20234%20B.pdf
  2. As long as Amiens and The Hague or perhaps Denmark are on the map! https://www.quora.com/What-was-the-low-level-RAF-bombing-mission-in-WWII-to-take-out-an-allied-spy-in-Gestapo-custody
  3. I think so. As soon as I heard it would not be supported anymore I deinstalled it in the module manager. However, the 3GB folder was still there (thanks for your post) so I deleted manually.
  4. Just curious: What is wrong with the existing cockpit(s)? I know P-51 is getting a bit old, but the others are still pretty no?
  5. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  6. Please Ignore. Changing trigger order somehow solved this. Dunno why, but looks like a local problem somehow.
  7. As such, all triggers that use these (Unit speed higher than, part of group in...) do not work, at least not for clients in my missions.
  8. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  9. Think Normandy. The FW 190D or Bf 109K did not see any action over Normandy. The FW 190 A8 fits perfectly. I hope more contemporary aircraft will follow, although those promised AI units would also help a lot to bring some variation to that theatre.
  10. Nice surprise! I love those radial butcher birds. Question: Why is the dash white? Placeholder? I have never seen that before....
  11. Speedtrees indeed AND the option to turn off all those ALG's. The map is great but locked into a very small time window....:(
  12. When you are on the decky ou can see that 3d models are overlapping (flickering objects) so that explains part of it. Probably also no lower LODs ?
  13. This was also my method. However, in multiplayer only the host can see the static objects!
  14. Had the same thing when I flew a coop with my squad. Confirmed. This, with a number of other "features" makes it really impossible to do any serious/interesting WW2 coop scenario: -No AI planes except B-17 with over simplistic damage model (and invisible crew) -Random Train traffic is always on?!? I always see scores of trains everywhere around me. -Normandy fps hit and oversaturated greens (although I can live with it for now) -Normandy has all airfields always modeled making it impossible to do any pre-july 44 scenario But boy do I love the WW2 modules!
  15. :thumbup::thumbup: Looks fabulous!
  16. Thanks! Gets you in the right mood [emoji1] Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
  17. Three missions I created for our squad: Bomber escort, Vehicle column strafing and tank busting. Early versions, no win conditions set yet. Blue: 8x P-51, 4x Spitfire Red: 3x Bf 109K, 3x Fw-190D Channel A: plane -plane communication Channel B: plane - home base communication Channel D: Radio broadcast from England (only works on Allied fighters) Have fun! The map is truly wonderful, even with current quirks. NormandyWW2.zip
  18. One thing that helps for frame rates: ALt-tab! Apparently, the game does not start in full-screen mode, even though you select it? In 'deferred shade' mode it looks sooo much better!
  19. Would like to see some tips on how to get decent framerates down low. On Nevada I can blaze through the Strip without a hickup, but when I get down low to strafe a train (specially near a village) the frame rate drops significantly. I tried lowering shadows, tree view range, lower AA (down to 2x) yet it remains choppy when I try to look around me. Map does looks great. I love how the roads/tracks look very realistic from above. Train spotting & hunting is great (although train seems indestructible?).
  20. It was my plan to start making (coop) missions as we speak, but am I missing something or are a lot of assets not available? Where is the AAA? Where are all the static ground objects (bunkers etc)? I do see the tanks, trucks and even trains, but not the rest???
  21. Thanks for the effort! Hope this changes or we can't have any (static) ground target objectives! :)
  22. Thanks a lot, those are some nice screenshots! :thumbup: It would help if you could go into the mission editor and see which of the objects can be placed (under static objects), but I hope I can find that out soon by myself! :)
  23. Hi everyone. It looks like the Normandy map will be great! I have now turned my eye towards DCS. As soon as Normandy map is out I will create a 10 mission coop campaign for our squad (Syndicate). Of course I'll upload it as well when the bugs are ironed out . I already like the mission editor very much, specially the ability to quickly test a mission from the editor. However, I find that the current (static) objects for creating target areas are few and often very old (Lock on???) with low polys and ugly textures. Can someone with early access show a little bit of what kind of objects will be available to serve as ground targets? Think warehouses, HQ, airfield objects etc. Much obliged!!
  24. All of a sudden those DCS modules seem pretty cheap don't they? :) :)
