    This is just one big fat mystery:megalol: everyone has an opinion on what causes it but nobody really knows. Maybe that adds to the coolness factor.

    Yeah, I get all the takeoff, rpm, throttle, etc. I read the same thing in the manual saying that you cannot feather the prop so it was throwing me off when I read OP's question. Wasn't sure if something had changed that I didn't know about :)

    Still confused, sorry. I thought the engine RPM automatically controlled the pitch of the prop... How do you adjust the pitch if that's possible?
