Am I the only one downloading the patch atm? None of my friends are able to, but mine is almost done?

I would prefer the Z overall, but if we have to choose out of these three, my vote goes to the W. At the end of the day, I will be buying it no matter what model wins! ^_^ ILY BST!

There is also a module manager section in the game in the non-steam version. As long as you have your Steam keys activated on your account here, you can just install DCS World, and then install your modules from the main menu.

I would still like my alpha access if possible, of course I will be buying all the other aircraft not included in my package. It would be nice to keep my alpha access for those too if possible, or if it still exists.

Is it possible to select the aircraft that we want? I'm at the $50 level and don't want the P51, I already own it and didn't have it selected in the first place. Oh yes, I understand this, but it seems that there are a few others that didn't after reading through here. Few people asking for refunds, etc. Just thought I would explain this. After all, if we didn't have ED picking up support, all would be lost! Thanks guys! :thumbup:

Thanks for the update Matt, great news all around! As for those of you upset about what happened to your kickstarter backings: In the future please think more about the investments you are making and the risks involved. Kickstarter exists for a reason, to fund projects that "normal" investors would never want to touch. You should not be investing in any kickstarter project for any amount unless you are willing to accept the risk involved and the possibility that nothing will come of it. This is just another example of why it's a bad idea to buy into something early when you don't know what the final outcome will be. If you aren't willing to be possibly throwing your money away. Just be patient and wait for full releases to avoid frustrations like this. I for one, backed the project because I believed my $50 would help the team and was willing to accept that my $50 could be lost. I'm OK with that. If you aren't OK with that, you shouldn't have backed in the first place. Kickstarter is not a market, they don't owe us anything at all. It's an investment and there are risks involved. We should be thankful to ED that they are making good on all of our bad investments.

Yes, this is the backer reward I chose as well, I have selected my aircraft, but there is no mention on my Eagle.ru profile about alpha access, just beta. I hope they notice this, I picked the option for alpha for a reason, to get flying as early as possible :)

Ok guys I found a video that should answer this question once and for all. NO BAR! The front window is clearly sitting flush with the front dash and no bar can be seen at all (ok well you can see the bar, but it is due to the camera angle looking down on the sight, but it's pretty obvious that you will not see that from the eye's point of view). Edit again: Well shit, after watching this more closely again, there are a few parts where the pilot ducks down and the camera IS lined up with the sight, and you can indeed see the bar blocking the view through it. Very disappointing. :mad:

Yeah I'm the same way... Now it's even worse for me, they said World is coming back to Steam, so now I will have to re-buy every module again to own them all there... Hey at least I will have 20 activations on my keys.... I'm running low due to computer upgrades and DCS re-installs over the years

Su27 pit in the Su33 Is there anyway to mod the Su27 pit into the Su33? I don't mind if there is small part of functionality broken, it's worth it for the better looks. I'm not very good at this modding thing... has anyone figured it out? or is it even possible?

Easy, I have the Huey module downloaded and ready to go, but the world client is downloading extremely slow, and is going to take about 15 hours.

Wanna know whats even worse? I bought it Thursday too, managed to get it activated, recorded one video, and my motherboard fried an hour later, now I have to build a whole new rig to fly again. Just a taste of epicness, and now its all gone :(
