  1. Maybe someone could open a Vive thread, so the Rift owners don't have to wade through all the fanboy crap to read information relevant to an Oculus Rift with DCS World Discussion
  2. That's great,thanks for the news.
  3. Great to hear. Can I ask, will pixel density selection negate the need to use the Oculus debug tool?
  4. Thanks for the info.
  5. Sounds great. Congrats on getting your Rift. Which version of debug tool and runtime are you using? How is your fps?
  6. Thx. Good to know as I have NTTR. The Elite guys are claiming better performance with this than the game's native 2.0 SS.
  7. Thx for the feed back. I imagine if it killed fps on your rig with DK2 the Cv1 would be worse. Oh well
  8. Some of the guys over at Elite dangerous forum were using the Oculus debug tool to change the Pixels Per Display Pixel Override" to 1.5 to sharpen text and graphics with great success. Not sure what that would do for DCS and what PPDPO number you would use but would be interested if someone here tries it. My Rift still 4 weeks out Here was what they did for ED 1. Run the tool 2. Set the override to 1.5 and hit enter 3. Launch Oculus Home 4. Experience judder 5. Close debug tool 6. Judder will stop 7. Launch Elite from wherever and you are good to go
  9. Like these https://www.wareable.com/vr/manus-vr-gloves-reveal-arm-tracking-for-htc-vive-2685
  10. Congrats on getting your CV1 Durham. My is about 6 weeks away.I hope. I picked up the Gazelle day 1. Can wait to try it and my Huey, and my Mi8 and my F86 and--oh my what to do .Guess I'll just play golf till then. Your review speaks to everything I hoped for with the Oculus.
  11. I think the porn enthusiasts are gonna luv those gloves. lol
  12. You can't change the CV1 resolution -it is set at 2160x1200. It is not a monitor. The resolution in your display panel is only for your external monitor. The resolution in game will only affect the external monitor
  13. Now, that is the kind of response I was expecting in a forum thread about VR-an answer to the query. Thank you I am new to the DCS forums although a customer since Lock On days. Too bad it isn't up to snuff as people are sticking them on their HMDs. The fact that the guys was able to control his bird had me excited. Oh well maybe it will get their. Thx again for the info
  14. I was referring to Leap Motion and asking if anyone had tried it with DCS not asking about FSX. Perhaps I could have been more clear. Given many DCS modules are clickable cockpits I though this could be neat
  15. Anyone tried this in DCS? [ame] [/ame]
  16. If not for buying A10c beta,I would not be enjoying Nevada (as an alpha) and free at that. F86 was in beta quite a while and can't overstate the enjoyment of this bird even while in beta. It would also seem beta gives developers some early funds to help sustain their cost before full retail release. Luv Beta
  17. Luv u Roie. Great vids. "I'll buys that for a dollar" Thinking of the missing body situation. It would be a great retail concept for those who own those modules without pilot bodies to create and sell as addon bodies for the VR users. Like Rise Of Flight sells field mods and weapons addons
  18. I know this thread is old but and answer might be of value for those who search this problem. If you downloaded Blackshark you can login and go to download page for BS and there you will find your sr#
